| DEFINITELY IT IS NOT EVEN 3 STARS FOR ME. AND SURELY NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID FOR. When I arrived at Xiamen Plaza, I found out that the reception staff have a hard time conversing in English and lack experience and courtesy.
The request for a room in non-smoking floor was not honored. And I was instead assigned a room with the temp same as outdoor. I opened the window to be bitten by mosquitos. And after complaining, they provided me with an electric fan. You even have to ask for tissue as they do not check and replenish.
The breakfast food-limited variety, and very hot full of chili. Very lousy chef.
The bus terminal in front is now just a bus stop with few buses passing and stopping by because the dusty Jiahe road is under renovation and the buses rerouted from Jiahe Rd.
The 5th floor Food court nearby is closed now. |

| Easy to locate, right next to train station. Swimming pool still under repair since the last guy review. Room facilities meets basic requirements. Location is accessible to public transportation. |

| The hotel is strategically located right beside the Xiamen Train Station and across the World Trade Shopping Center where there are lots of shops, McDonald's, KFC and Walmart. It is only three kilometers from the downtown area where you can do shopping in Zhong Shan Lu or catch the ferry going to Gulangyu Island. The room where we stayed was clean and just the right size. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating although they need to polish their English speaking skills. |
