Our stay at the Encore Hotel was interesting, as we made reservations with a travel agent and were not aware that they were going to hold a per day minimum on our credit card. We made the assumption that since the Hotel was pre-paid that this would not pertain to us. We did not have the funds available on our debit/credit card and were awaiting the transfer of funds into our checking account that evening. Initially we were told that the policy was that they must hold 150 dollars per day. The customer service representative contacted the manager immediately to see if anything could be worked out. We told them that we were expecting the funds to be available by 9:30p that evening. It was now 10am in the morning . I must say that your staff was professional, courteous and very helpful. They were able to work out a cash amount deposit until the funds were available in our account. The customer service representative's name is Ashley and the Manager's name is Katrenia. There service was de Creme da la Creme; The Cream of the Crop! When we returned back to our room we were met with a Sample of Chocolates complements of the Encore Front Desk!! I have been traveling just for a few years now,and the service of your staff is phenominal! Unfortunately I did not have the same service at the Terrance Pointe Cafe. We had most of our meals on site of your hotel and we were quite please with The Buffet, and The Cafe . We decided to have breakfast at the Terrance Pointe and were very disappointed with the service. We arrived on Wednesday a.m 9/30/09 . We were the first customers to enter the resturant and were not served until approximately 45 minutes later. Many customers were served before us and we were not addressed. When we were served, my husband requested no cheese on his omlet and it arrived 30 minutes after the order with cheese. In addition ,when the billed arrived we were charged for 4 orange juices and we had ordered 2. We reviewed the bill and paid for 2. In conclusion, we were very happy with the hotel service ,with the exception of the Terrance Pointe Cafe. If we decide to vist Las Vegas we will definately choose the Encore! Patricia Miller

Fantastic hotel. Really nice staff and the rooms were amazing. Upgraded to the tower suites (as we were on our honeymoon), well worth it. Huge room, 2 separate bathrooms, king bed etc.. Casino is classy and modern and the dealers are very helpful. Buffet restaurant is great value. The only downside is the hotel is not as central as the likes of The Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio etc.. That said I'm going back to Vegas soon and will stay there again.

The rooms and beds at the Wynn are super comfortable. The Casino is classy, but did get a little over run with undesirables on Saturday night (what you may expect). The restaurants are all excellent. We ate at RED 8, Okada, Bartollota, Wazuzu, Stratta, and the buffet, and they were all delicious. We did opt to go to the Mirage for the Beatles Love Cirque show, which I would highly recommend. But, we immediately returned to the Wynn for gambling, because of the superior casino environment at the Wynn. The spa at the Wynn is the epitome of luxury. The pool is beautiful, but is crowded on Saturday. The bars and drinks are top drawer, and it is one of the few places in Vegas were they will serve tasty nut bowls to compliment the drinks. The staff at the Wynn was very helpful and courteous.

Gorgeous decor, landscaping & non-smoky atmosphere Very nasty cocktail waitress named Lydia Decor, landscaping & ambiance was 5 star. Rooms were more like suites with 2 flat screen TV's, In-room Fax, Travertine tile floors, plush bedding and full wall of windows were the best.

An outstanding hotel with service to match, go for the tower suites and pay that little extra, its worth it. Shall certainly go back to the Wynn.

Our room was spacious and luxurious with amenities like an iron and ironing board . Hotel staff was friendly. We asked for 2 queen beds instead of a king bed that had been reserved and it was no trouble to change this. We did have a problem with the key cards not working one night but this was immediately corrected. From talking to other guests, this seemed to be a problem they were experiencing at the time. Food was somewhat high in their restaurants but as a returning ex-resident of Las Vegas, I was aware that prices on the Strip are higher than eslewhere. Overall I was very pleased.

How could a 5-Star highly rated hotel have such poor service? The property and staff are beautiful; however, the numerous issues and lack of care can't be covered up. It begins with a sloppy and frustrating check-in process where the front desk staff seem to have been hired and not given any customer service training. If you can get to the front desk without encountering an angered guest, and get sympathy for any the numerous issues that will arise during your stay, consider it a miracle. All we received were occasional half-hearted apologies and no indication of a desire to rectify any issues. Dinner reservations are a must, but be prepared for lengthy wait times, and disgruntled security guards. If you dare to wander over to the sister property (Encore), expect some harassment for no apparent reason. If you choose to dine in one of the award winning restaurants, on a club night, expect several bouncer types that will keep you from getting to your restaurant with a look of confusion that anyone would want to eat past 9pm. We missed our reservations twice because of this. If you choose to eat in, don't. You are not allowed to take food or drinks to your room; however, if you ask the cafe servers to kindly provide a bag for your articles, you can slip by security. If you order room service, be prepared for your food to arrive cold and be delivered rudely. In our case, we had food that was so cold we could not eat it, and upon inquiry were provided an apology and a full 50% discount. It was later explained to us that Room Service was extremely busy and could not provide the delivery for 2 hours. All that being said, the rooms are beautiful and cozy. This may be the only 5-star hotel I have ever stayed in where the sheets are not changed unless requested and turn-down service must be requested daily. I could continue on, but the point here is that this hotel is an embarrassment to the awards it has been provided. Again, the property is beautiful, but the impression you

This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. My family and I had such a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and the facilities were wonderful. We would definitely go back. The Wynn gave us a terrific family vacation...even though my children are teenagers they had a blast.

Horrible experience from club management at Tryst who kicked us out without cause or reasoning and would not explain themselves outside the club after we calmly and cooperatively left. Hotel management would not follow up or investigate or provide compensation for the actions of a club housed in their hotel. The hotel itself is on the same level as many others that are similarly priced, but customer service is seriously lacking. If you're going to pay that much to stay in a hotel, I would highly suggest Mandalay Bay or Caesar's over this dump!!!!!

Beautiful surroundings with all you need at your fingertips. Smoke filled casino at bottom of guest elevators. Great place to pretend you are a member of Vegas Elite you can run up huge bills having great food and enjoying the excellent service!

My husband and I stayed at the Wynn for a recent anniversary weekend. We upgraded to the Tower Suites which were wonderful. We had access to special swimming pools, daily newspaper, and morning coffee and tea service in Tableau which saved almost $5.00 a cup instead of getting coffee in the cafe downstairs. The junior suite was beautiful and had Picasso prints on the walls. The bed was very comfortable. All the staff we came in contact with with were very hospitable and went out of their way to be of assistance. The restaurants are pricey but the food is superb. We especially liked the pizzas at Stratta. It's a quick walk to The Palazzo and Venetian next door. The only downside was the cigarette smoke in all the casinos. Las Vegas should be a smoke free environment. However, The Wynn does have smoke free areas to gamble. The Wynn is pricier than other places to stay but for a special event it was worth it. We would definitely stay there again.

The environment was high end and well designed! Shopping area in hotel was mostly too expensive for me. I am an Interior Designer so I really appreciated the creative planning as well as the functional aspects of the hotel. We loved the show on the water at night.

The Wynn Hotel is a big dissapointment. Although the rooms are fairly attractive, they charge extra for everything except the air that you breathe. I had dreadful service at the Wynn Buffet twice. Once a rude staffer ignored my polite request and then yelled at me. Another time I had a run in with a truly nasty manager. She was a disgrace to the hospitality industry. On top of it, the food there was mediocre. The Wynn Hotel has a lot of pretention but that is about it. In this economy there are plenty of choices that offer far better rates and polite, efficient service. I visit Las Vegas about a dozen times a year and will take my hard earned dollars to a resort that appreciates my business.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Wynn. We have stayed at many of the other fine hotels in Las Vegas and Wynn is our FAVORITE. The bed is to die for - didn't want to leave it. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. The pool (s) are wonderful and something for everyone. Fabulous restaurants from 5 star ratings to their Terrace Cafe. Check in was fast & friendly - no long cattle lines as at other hotels. They certainly are deserving of the 5 star rating they have received. Can't wait to return - and we will!
