My room was nice, and a lot cleaner then I expected. Just be prepared to spend a considerable amount on food and drink. This is not an all-inclusive resort; so just be ready. Transportation into town is assessable and you also have a wide range of options, from taxi's to public transportation. All in all a relaxing stay.

We traveled with 3 other families all with grown children and there was plenty to do for everyone. The casino was great and the snorkeling a short boat ride from the beach was beautiful. There was a variety of places to eat on the premises and some were pricey but they served excellent food. Downtown Nassau had great shopping and it was easy to get there using the #10 bus for $1.25.

Great, clean rooms and great room service. Wake up call never called $17.99 per night per guest. Great location near banks, a half hour from the downtown area and 15 minutes from the airport.

it is very good hotel with water activities:snorkeling near hotel, pool, cayak, etc. Hotel is excellent, convenient, 10 minutes from airport. bus and ferry to Atlantis, Nassau. We had a wonderful time with my 13-year old daughter: quite and relaxing.

We really enjoyed ourselves at the Wyndham. Yes, the hotel is a bit old but it was clean and the rooms were updated and really nice. The pool area is great and there is plenty of beach to enjoy. Not much night life at all but we were there to relax and we were able to do that with no problems. Food is expensive but it is expensive everywhere you go - just be prepared.

My wife & I stayed at WYNDHAM during the Valentine Day Weekend. Based on some of the reviews we had read, we expected the worse. However, we were surprised to receive the best services in all areas. It appears that the new management is committed to providing outstanding services to visitors and tourists. The rooms were clean, maid services timely, excellent decor, friendly atmosphere, great amenities, tasty food, etc. From the receptionists to the maids, we experienced the services of those who've perfected the science of attending to tourist. We hardly left before planning our next trip to the Bahamas and opting to stay again at WYNDHAM. This time, it would be with our children and we expect nothing but the best. Although expensive, the services is worth your money. Because you get the exceptional services you are paying for. I'll recommend WYNDHAM to couples and families with children. The Hotel adds to your Bahamian experience.

Well...FIrst let me say I am an "insider" to the hotel indusrty, as my husband and I are hoteliers in Charleston, South Carolina. Dealing with the public is difficult and this hotel deals with the public beautifully. A guest to the Bahamas should be aware that the inhabitants of the island are just that. They live in a goregous setting in the middle of the Atlantic and there is no reason to rush. SO relax! this hotel has a fabulous staff that greets and meets your every need. They are polite soft spoken and well trained and believe me, we've been going there for 30 years and the training has finally paid off. The rooms are CLEAN, the lobbies are CLEAN the Restaurants are CLEAN the employees are CLEAN! every where you turn there is someone to wish you a good morning, afternoon or evening. There is interest in you as a guest and your satisfaction is paramount. The hotel is large and spread out with several towers, once you get the routes down its fun time. Beach is right outside the back doots of the hotel. A guest can reserve a "cabana", but its really a sunbrella tent, drinks and snack are provided by a smiling accomodating staff member. The pool is large with a small but furious water slide. Alittle too fast for some tastes, don't confuse it with Atlantis' slide this is not a hear stopper its for everyone. The pool itself can be a little cleaner there was some debris floating by with so many bodies it needs a boost to its filteration system, but its OK. There is a sea lagoon and water activities. Great fun and it won't cost an arm and a leg. Can't wait to go back. More convienent and than Atlantis.

Right off the bat, we get there and our room isin't ready. We eventually get our room, and don't have wash towels, then every time we'd open a drawer, the door that hides the fridge fly's open. The balcony door is the heaviest door we have ever seen and it grinds metal to metal when you open it. You could hear ever time someone around you opened their door, the balcony doors were all like that. If you'd ask a question, the staff would just point instead of telling you, so you had to guess where you were going. So overall it wasn't the best hotel experience.

The hotel was clean and spacious. The staff was not unfriendly. They did give me a room key to someone else's room... while they were sleeping in it... and then they gave me key cards that did not work at all to a new room. Besides that, the rooms were fine, except for the beds which were among the less comfortable hotel beds I've slept on; and after getting sunburned it became more noticeable. Most of the other guests were middle-age adults, some with mid-teenage or younger children. This was not a resort for 20-somethings to go have a good time. That said, the beach was pleasant, and we were allowed full access to the neighboring Sheraton's facilities (3 pools and beach area) which were all basically connected to the Wyndham's outdoor area. My main gripe has to do not so much with the hotel as with the area and with the prices of everything, pretty much everywhere. I don't mind spending money, and especially when I'm on vacation I'm prepared for it. But I never like getting ripped off, and in this case it was gratuitous. The food is good most places, but you leave with a bad taste in your mouth from the exorbitant (and in some cases inaccurately listed) prices. $3 for an apple?? And I'd describe the food vendors, including wait-staff at many places as indifferent; and more than once I felt like they almost resented tourists in general. I guess it's hard to flagrantly overcharge people and smile in their faces on a daily basis.

Nice rooms. Lobby is dated. Restaurants cost too much. The rooms are nice. The lobby could use a good remodeling (looks like a hotel out of the 1980's). The restaurants are too expensive.

My frist trip to the bahamas was very dissapointing. Lets start with saytng this is a very old hotel , needs a lot of work, food is INCREDIBLY overpriced., you are talking $5 dollars for a can of orange juice. There was a leak in the ceiling of pur room, water all over the carpet,. maid service was not done on 2 days, and there wasnt water in the hotel on the last night we stayed.. Staff was very nast y and always had an attitude. Beach was OK, the Sheraton has a lot more beach. Restaurants, lets just say you will get better food at your local restaurants near your home, not impressed at all. And the worst part of this place was the CASINO, I warn you, DO NOT GAMBLE in this place, they are ridiculous , they change the rules on the tables all of sudden, and if if a table is doing good, they will close it on you , lost a lot of money, hopefully with this donation I made, they can improve the facilities a ilittle. I would not reccomend this hotel at all, go to some other place in the Bahamas, Atlantis, or somewhere else in the CAribbean, ex: Punta Cana,.

When my friends and I stayed at the hotel, GradWeek high school graduates also stayed there so there was a lot of noise, crazy kids running around, and drunk. But overall, we had a good time there. The room was nicer than we imagined. They gave us an upgrade to ocean view so that was pretty good. The food in the hotel was pretty pricey but there was a deli there where you can purchase fare price meals.

Room was nice and clean. Food was great, but pricey. Everything there requires a 15% gratuity automatically---I think tipping should be left to guests to decide amount based on services received. The people at time share tables hounded everyone who passed by them. This was annoying and needs to be changed.

Great experience. Rooms very clean, restaurants reasonalby priced, good casino.
