1st time in Cozumel and having an all inclusive vacation, loved it. Friendly and helpful staff, AC in room worked great, and food/beverage were plentiful!

Beach hotel, water sports. Cockroaches in the room, the concierge sold us a tour more expensive than the price paid by other tourists attending the same tour with us. Okay hotel for a quick weekend vacation. Water sports were great, but not included. Food fresh, but nothing local, just basic stuff. The hotel was far from downtown and a US $15 taxi one way. Ferry from Plays del Carmen US$14 per person. I did not consider the hotel a resort at all. It was too basic and not luxurious. The drinks were included, but the alcohol was diluted.

very very pleased with everything except desk would not issue more than 1 room key without my having to get nasty after a day or 2

Staff. This hotel is run down. This hotel has seen better days. The grounds are not kept up very well and many of the fixtures in common areas need to be replaced. This was our first all inclusive experience, and it was about what we thought. Find the right bar and they have better offerings, and the food was just so so, but their was plenty of variety. The property is far enough from town that it's nice and quiet, unlike some of the guests as can be expected.

This is the worst hotel in the cozumel/cancun area.

They offered some entertainment. They did not go out of the way to accommodate guests as a deluxe resort would. Overall good value. Nice family friendly atmosphere. I found the room clean but the bed and linens could have been nicer. Clean older hotel.

Safety. Rooming accommodations less than average. This seemed to be a family friendly resort. We would have appreciated more pre-arranged entertainment on-site that was more cultured. The variety of the food at the buffet was less than average. I could hear the outside conversations from our room. There were not adequate covers on the bed. We did like that it did not cost extra to utilize the sea kayaks. We did not appreciate being hounded to have a tour to encourage us to purchase a time share.

Good food, close to good diving sites, enjoyed to hobie cats. Only complaint is we could not get a second key to the room

The beach. The room was dingy and limited restaurants open. Comfortable beds, decent sized room, needs mini bars and refrigerators in each room, rooms need repainted as kind of dingy. Buffets not my thing but were actually good. Snack bar and bars excellent.

This hotel was okay, but certainly not anything special. I have stayed in 7 all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, and this was my least favorite. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't anything special. The food selection was my biggest complaint. Again, the food wasn't awful, but compared to other resorts I have visited there were very few choices and with the exception of the fiesta on Friday the menu never really changed from day to day. We usually travel with children, and I was glad that we didn't this time, because I don't think they would have found anything to eat for dinner. We stayed on the family side of the resort, but we found it odd that the adults only side of the resort had waterslides coming off the second floor balconies and pools right off the ground floor patios. It would have been a child's paradise. There was also an "adults only" pool on our side of the resort that was only about 2.5 feet deep. Perfect for children, but we rarely saw anyone using it. Our favorite part of the vacation was snorkling. Again, the snorkling in front of the resort was okay, but nothing special. We did find an area to the north of the beach where the snorkling was better. The bottom line is that the Wyndham is okay, but there are many other resorts in Mexico that offer more without costing a lot more.

Rooms were nice and big and the overall service was excellent. Restaurant selections were lacking. This is a decent overall hotel. The restaurant selections are lacking and the beach is not nearly as nice as the pictures lead you to believe.

The actual resort in itself is beautiful. The staff was super friendly and always willing to help with what ever you needed. The beach though was horrible. The water was beautiful but you couldn't even go out in the water because of all the rocks and it would cut your feet open if you weren't careful. This isn't a place to go for younger people. The food was horrible, the drinks were watered down, and the snack bar was the best food there. It would be a great place for older people, families, and newly weds. Our room was not that great. It was missing a ceiling fan, the air conditioning didn't work well, our shower was beyond hot and would turn off then turn back on burning you, when the water was ran in our sink it would leak out onto the floor underneath. The buffet at the resort didn't even have mexican food but rice and beans.

The food and service at this all inclusive resort was very good. The rooms, especially the bathroom showed a little age. NA.

This is absolutely the worst hotel we have stayed at in Mexico and we have been there (Mexico) at least 20 times! There was 1 bartender for the entire hotel during the day and it took 10 to 15 minutes to get a beer and that was poured into an 8 oz cup. They have a Italian restaurant named Roberto's and the food was excellent all the other restaurants were subpar at best. The dive shop was great as was the diving. The noise in the rooms from above was horrible. They will only give you one key to your room! If you and your spouse want to do different things , you have to have the front deck let you into your room if you return before the person with the key! They have two pools both of which were 90 degrees or hotter. The adult pool has a swim up bar but it was never open. The lighting in the bathrooms was a little better then using a candle and the showers....well they are hard to describe!!! They would go from scalding hot to freezing cold instantly and then there wouldn't be any water at all! when it finally came back on you weren't sure what it was going to do freeze you or burn you! The couple of good things about this place was the A/C in the rooms worked great and believe it or not, the beds were actually comfortable. It wasn't like sleeping on a slab of granite! We were given the option of upgrading to the Sabor and should have taken it but, we didn't. They actually have 4 sections to this hotel with the best being the Aura. We spoke with some poeple that were staying at both and they stated that the food wasn't very good but the rooms, pools and service were great. We will be travelling to Cozumel again ( for the diving) and will probably stay colse to this place as we like diving with Sand Dollar sports but after the Wyndham experience, I don't think I would chance it even if it was at the Sabor or Aura!

Beauty, relaxing. They could improve the variety of the food. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, views, staff and quality of rooms, service and organization. Very friendly, easy to navigate, amenities on site were good and had shops, car and tour services on site. Compared to other hotels we saw on the island, we were real happy to be staying at the Wyndham it compared much better.

My husband & I were here in May 08, liked it so much that we came back with our entire family in May 09. When we returned, we noticed a big change, the events staff had changed & entertainment is weak. Food lacks quality & variety. My husband and son ended up with a stomach virus & spent most of their time with diareah. There was a constant smell, not good!

Food was better then it looked, quieter then expected at night. Too crowded. Was warned to stay away from all inclusive. Was nice to visit an all inclusive so that we could make our own impression but won't be visiting them again.

This is a great place for the money. Not 5 star, but it is a great location, and everything is provided for you. Snorkeling right outside the hotel on a private beach, wow! Lots of food and drinks all the time. Eat in the resturant a few nights...you'll enjoy it! Entertainment was fun, but not Broadway! We recommend this place if you want an amazing vacation...but do not be overly critical, because not everything is perfect...could use some updating.

Room was right on the beach. Activities nice. Maid service did not refresh shampoo & wash clothes daily. A lot of activities for children and adults. Disappointed that the maid service did not refresh shampoo and wash clothes daily. Bartenders were rude but otherwise the overall staff was very nice and helpful.
