I stayed at the Wyndham Princeton Hotel with my husband while visiting relatives in Plainsboro. The first thing I noticed about the hotel was the fact that it was literally surrounded by nature. It was absolutely beautiful. I live in the city so it?s not a sight I get to see very often. Knowing beforehand that it was going to be a stressful visit, we upgraded our room to their executive king. The bed was extremely comfy and we both really enjoyed the robes that came with the room. I definitely enjoyed the exercise room as it was above average compared to most hotels that I have stayed in. Our first morning in town we ate at their restaurant before heading off to see the family. The atmosphere was very nice and we both loved the view from the window. We could see the lake and so much green from the window. After a long day with the family my husband and I played pool which was so much fun. He still won't admit that I beat him. Overall, I would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again, even if it means visiting the relatives more often.

Spacious. Did not bring a replacement coffee pot even though they said they would and I asked twice.

I stayed at the Wyndham Princeton Forrestal with my husband and two teenagers, while visiting the Princeton area and to go to Six Flags. The view was absolutely breathtaking; the hotel was located in the middle of nature! The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and even led us to a great shopping spot nearby called Quaker Bridge Mall. Every morning before I took my run along their running path covered with gorgeous trees, I was greeted with a free newspaper at my feet. My kids were always entertained; they offered a bunch of activities that they enjoyed like playing squash in their nice size squash court or using the pool. My husband appreciated the fact that they had free wireless internet so he could get some work done. It was also really nice to be at a hotel that was completely nonsmoking. After 3 days at this wonderful hotel, I did not want to go home and my family and I definitely agree we will be back as soon as we can.

The hotel is a 10 minutes drive from Princeton University, a rental car is highly recommended if staying at this hotel.

In all seriousness:Terrible Food; overcooked, undercooked. boney whitefish. dry, stale and hard snacks. Lazy, rude and inattentive staff. (front desk, AV techs, and waitstaff)Odd mechanical rumblings and noises in guest rooms near hotel lobby.Moldy tile in bathrooms; previous guest's pubic hairs on bathroom floors, smelly passenger elevator interiors.Pluses: free beverages at function rooms; free parkingnice park- like setting.Glad I'm not paying for it- The corporation I am with for a three day meeting at this hotel will not be using it's conference services again next year.

Nice hotel, more then I expected. Fitness Center not open early Saturday morning (6 or 7 am). Enjoyed my stay. Nice hotel. Perfect area. Friendly folks.

Very poor service here. They are geared for Merrill Lynch training programs and other conferences and don't seem to care about the tourist or other traveler passing thru. Major problems with keys and many guests were going up and down to rekey the electronic key. Staff should have been more helpful, especially for very elderly people going up and down and getting worn out. Not at all 3 or 3.5 star service.

Excellent facilities and a great bar with very good food. Needs to offer continental breakfasts. Resort hotel, with great facilities and surroundings, very convenient to everything. You don't need to leave the hotel.

The location of this hotel is very convenient to the location I visited on this trip. Poor lighting and air circulation in the room. I have stayed at this location several times over the past year and I have not been impressed with this facility at all during any of the stays. The lighting in the room is very poor. The air handler in the room is loud and annoying and needs to be run constantly or the room becomes stagnant (the blower does not turn on and off using the thermostat and needs to be run constantly). They do not leave a paper at your door in the morning and the hostess for breakfast is clueless with respect to the fact that some staying at the hotel do not have a voucher and must pay for breakfast.

View from window. Front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful and was not understanding and lacked customer service skills. I would never return to this hotel again because of the service I received from the front desk clerk at approx 5pm on Sunday afternoon. My reservation was for 2 queen beds because I was traveling with 2 adults and one 14 year old; she rudely advised that she only had a king room avail. This was totally unacceptable. Even though I showed the clerk my confirmation, she was not receptive at all; she didn't care. It was only at my insistence she reluctantly walked off without a word to me, which I assume she checked with a manager.. She later returned and abruptly asked for my ID. At no time did this clerk say thank you, or even say she was sorry for the inconvenience. She then slammed my Id on the counter when she returned it to me. The reason for this visit to New Jersey, I was attending my daughter's graduation from Princeton University.

Free internet and coffee. The room is very clean. Almost every receptionist in the front desk has very bad attitude. Almost every receptionist in the front desk is very impatient when I was asking questions or some helps. When calling the room service, the phone just kept ringing and no one answered. But, the hotel is at good location. The free internet in the room is definitely a big help.

Pool, exercise room, grounds. Bathtub didn't drain, toilet flushed bad. For the price, it was okay. The rooms were nice, but the bathroom needed remodeling. The bathtub filled during showering, the toilet only flushed once every 20 minute. I notified the desk, nothing was done. The beds were good. The grounds were nice.

Beautiful grounds. Manager got us a fridge for the room very nicely. Dining room far away from other spaces, too expensive. This was a comfortable, beautiful place to stay with a very helpful staff.
