I don't like being lied to! I confirmed by reservation by phone and asked for assurance that I was booked for a smoking room (Yes; I know!)I was told my reservation was received and confirmed for smoking. When I arrived at the hotel, late at night, I was told the hotel had changed to non-smoking over 3 months earlier. This should have been explained to me when confirming my reservation. This makes me assume the hotel only wants the smokers business but honesty doesn't matter. To make matters worse, the reception desk woman was rude, curt and brushed me off. I'll not be staying at a Wyndham again.

The staff was excellent! I look forward to returning to this hotel. The bathroom was very small. The shades/blinds let to much light in the room when they were closed. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff provided excellent service. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues. The facility contained several large rooms useful for presentations, conferences, etc.

Parking was reasonable and easy. Should be on other side of bridge. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Room had good internet connection. I imagine that being a Priceline customer you don't get the best selection of rooms with views.

Checking in to the Wyndam was very nice until I reached my room. As I unlock the door, I can tell that the bathroom towels are in a pile on the floor, then get to the rest of the room to find that it has not been cleaned at all. I phoned the hotel front desk to wait 20 minutes for them to bring me another key to another room. I would have gone to the desk myself but didn't want to bother with hauling all my luggage back down just to take an elevator and haul it all back up.

Location - very convenient; friendly, helpful staff. Cleanliness needs attention, leaks in lobby roof, dark entry.

Hotel was in great location, close to Sawgrass and a ferry ride to downtown Jacsonville. The Charthouse was great. The only negative was the staff seemed a little over burdened for a Sunday night with a crowd. I was there for three days and Sunday night was the only hicup.

Room. Parking attendant. Beautiful hotel located on Riverwalk.

While the location is great and the staff provided superb service, the rooms were a little on the small and dated side because of the age of the property itself. All the more reason that the rooms should have been spotless and that was not what we found. There was mold on the grout of the shower, dusty window sills, poor lighting, and the sliding door to the closet kept catching and falling off. Also, I was surprised at the expense of using the business center.

Nice lobby/entrance area, and nice bar. From elevator to floor lobby to the hotel rooms and bathroom are not 3 star, insteadI give 2 or 2.5 star. Absolutely not a 3 star look and feel.

If slamming (stairwell) doors waking you up all night and moldy shower curtains are your thing, then you need to stay here. The staff was very nice, but we were preferred members and supposed to get fruit basket in the room and did not. There was also someone else's hair on the back of the bathroom door, and mildew or mold (or both)on the shower curtain. I am not a clean freak...but yuck! Although the bed was VERY comfortable-I worried it was not as clean as it should have been with the other things that were overlooked. The room was somewhat moist yet cold in temperature. And every hour there were doors slamming. iGOT NO SLEEP AND HAD TO SLEEP IN THE CAR ON THE WAY HOME!!!NOT THE RESTFUL WEEKEND I HAD HOPED AND PAID FOR! The valet were very nice and very helpful even without using their valet service. I would not stay at this particular Wyndham again, but will be sure to request a more quiet area of the hotel.

The hotel is very nice. It is old but well kept. The regular rooms are typical hotel rooms with very comfortable beds. Located near the River Walk which offers wonderful views.

The beds were extremely comfortable. There was really nothing that I didn't like.

The Wyndham hotel was very large and when we got to our floor, we had a long walk to our room. As this was a weekend when a walk was held on the river walk, we met many nick people, but would have preferred a room closer to the elevators. The view was beautiful and we had a sandwich in the lounge and the recommended sandwiches were great. the shower, toilet area was very small and crowded. We did enjoy our stay in Jacksonville.

The view. Everything. When I arrived to check in, I was informed there was no view and it was a non-smoking facility, although I asked a room with a river view and definitely a smoking room. While I was checking in, the valets were trying to take my car from my kids, I assume so they could charge me before I could turn down valet service. I was charged ten dollars forparking in the hotel lot, I had an Avis car. Once checked in, we went to our room and the key didn't work. While my kids went to get the correct keys, a lady walked by me and entered the room we were given! The desk boy gave us the wrong room completely. It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had and I will never stay at a Wyndham again.

My wife and I planned a w/e getaway hotel was very centrally located and we were able to take the skytram to local attractions for $.50 per trip a great way to get around , hotel was a little older but room was clean and comfortable and very quiet have paid a lot more for a lot less in our travels, I would definately go back when in the area

Ambiance was nice. Not enough lighting options in room. A beautiful hotel located on the river bank of the St Johns river has a nice lounge area for talking or having a cocktail pool and hammocks looked nice a Jacuzzi would be a could add on.
