The room was nicer than I'd anticipated, and the shuttle bus to the airport and witha 5 mile radius of the hotel was a great help!

First room was disgusting looked like mold growing on the walls, wallpaper was peeling off, sink in bathroom kept running, and the internet connection was ripped out of the wall. When I asked to change rooms the front desk was hostile and said the only room available had a twin bed. Also there was a large poodle of water in the hall outside the room that I had to keep walking through. I called the Wyhdam reservation line and asked to cancel my reservation and was told other rooms were available and was given a suite. The only problem was the pool filter running outside my room till 9pm. This was probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was as nice as a pit bull. Stay at your own risk.

The first night I was kept awake by the slamming door of my direct neighbor. The lock latch was closed so they could go back and forth without the key (to who knows where) so there was not one slam each time but two. When I finally had enough at 2:00 am I tried to call the front desk. The room phone did not work. I awoke at 6:00 AM to guess what? SLAM, slam. I'm not sure if they even slept. Changed my room to 3 floors higher. I had a change in plans and requested a cot for my daughter who was a day early getting out of college. The cot arrived in our absence without sheets and blankets. I had to ask twice, the second time I was given the sheets, blanket and pillow at the front desk. I made up the cot myself. My room key needed to be recoded three time during my stay. I guess by cell phone erased the coding? Other than those items, and the TV's being about 10 years old, everything was fine.

It was a place to sleep. Staff was rude, less than helpful, renovations being done, old looking, and down in the tooth sort of place. Would not stay here again! I'm not sure physical renovations are all that's needed. The front desk staff is rude, more of a hindrance than a help. I don't know if the restaurant was ever open for our stay, it looked like an abandoned waste land. Everything looked a bit shabby. The pool area looks better on the website than in person. The atrium area is under renovation, with stacked chairs, and tables. The work out are is also in the atrium area, so one can imagine working out on a treadmill in a steam room! You can hear staff laughing, socializing in from a room off the pool/atrium area, and that's a bit disconcerting. Close to food , shopping, the airport, these are the only positives to report. Avoid this hotel.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The first room they gave us had significant water damage and mold. The hotel elevator didn't work (with no sign telling you that). The floors were visibly dirty. The service was terrible. They gave us the wrong printed directions to one of the suggested restaurants. When I pointed it out to the woman behind the counter, she started arguing with me that I was wrong! I have never provided a rating for anything in my life but this really took the cake.

Rooms are in bad shape. Peeling wallpaper; soiled carpet; old furnishings. They all need to be replaced. I do not recommend this hotel in its present condition.

Currently updating this hotel, all areas we were in seemed very nice, hotel is non-smoking, room was very comfortable. TV picture was relatively poor, coffee maker did not work. Nice hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here. Nice area for shopping and dining.

Close to airport. Probably the worst Wyndham I stayed at. Needs to be updated. Most Wyndham are at least 3's. If you're looking for a close hotel to the airport then it will work.

Location was right off interstate. Bathroom needed repairs to counter and tiles, beds sagged. The hotel needed updating of bathrooms and dining areas. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was excellent! Very helpful, very friendly! In need of remodeling, older. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff more than made up for the quality - they were very friendly and helpful and made the experience more enjoyable.

Convenience to airport, room comfort, desk clerk at check in. Desk clerk at 4:40 am, mildew spots around tub, noise from pool. On the plus side: While I don't think the lobby area was especially attractive, the room was nicely appointed, and the bed comfortable. The clerk when we checked in was gracious, friendly and helpful, as was the shuttle driver the next morning. On the negative side: The pool seems to be in the center of the hotel, and the noise carried up to the room. We also had a room full of young people in the connecting room, who were noisy. We had a 6:00 am flight out in the morning, with a 4:00 am wake up call, so at 10:40 pm I called the front desk to complain. The air conditioning helped with the noise from pool and the next room. The desk clerk in the morning was not friendly or helpful. There were spots of mildew on the grout at the bottom of the tile around the tub, and the floor needed to be treated around the base of the tub. Overall it was a good experience and met our needs for a hotel near the airport. We would stay there again in the same situation. We felt we received very good value for our money.

The restaurant chef. It's getting shabby. Keep that chef in business and almost all the other sins will be forgiven. You have a Wyndham on the decline.

Beautifully decorated and clean. My children loved the pool and gym. The atmosphere was wonderful and the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The layout was unique and romantic.

Hotel staff extremely helpful and courteous. Facility kept beautifully. If are in need of a hotel within the Richmond area, the Wyndham Hotel Richmond Airport is great. It is well appointed and comfortable, and the staff is superbly helpful and courteous. For any stays you require in the Richmond VA area, I highly recommend the Wyndham Hotel Richmond Airport.
