It was an older crowd...I'm 22 so I like the party scene more.

Clean, fairly quiet and good location for what I needed. Limited parking. Overall, very clean, helpful staff, comfy beds and well appointed.

Stayed in a 3-bedroom Presidential Suite with 3 full baths, master with separate garden tub and shower; absolutely impeccable. Staff bent over backward to be helpful, friendly and polite. One concierge was a little snooty and not all that helpful with information on how to obtain discount show tickets. WiFi available for $30.00 per week (very reasonable), daily rates available also. Beautiful view of the MGM Grand and airport from Tower III, 15th floor. Three heated pools and 4 jacuzzis, 2 very large pools and one smaller pool with the largest pool reserved for 18 and older. Well equipped gym facility available at no extra cost. Personnel in Activities were all great with wonderfully laid out binders describing all of the various shows and attractions on the Strip. We relied heavily on their advice and were not disappointed. Rentals are not necessary, as shuttles are readily available from the Wyndham to Harrah's. A 24-hour pass on The Deuce (bus) will get you up and down "The Strip" without having to worry about parking your rental which is a hassle. Small fast food restaurant available on site as well as a nice bar. Why stay at a hotel when you can stay at a condo for about the same price. The Wyndham Grand Desert is far enough away from "The Strip" to not have to worry about the ambient noises of the traffic and partying, but close enough to catch the free shuttle and be in the thick of "The Strip" in 15 minutes. Best of both worlds.

Been to Vegas a bunch, first time I've had an apartment with a view of the strip. Spotless, secure, swanky, friendly, uncrowded, great bed, will seek it out again. Hot hot tub!

Very pleased with this resort. It is no thrills however it has a excellent location from the strip and has 24 hour pool and jacuzzi! It is a home away from home which is better than what is offered from major resorts at an fraction of the price . Staff is great, everyone recognizes you when you walk by.

The WyndhamVR Grand Desert, Las Vegas, Nevada was a very comfortable family friendly accommodation within easy reach to the Las Vegas attractions. The plus points are the spacious accommodations and the many amenities within and outside the suite. No extra charged for the children as is usual for accommodation on the Strip. The kitchenette is well stocked with pots and pans and a large refrigerator and a micorwave. The decor is superior. The checking in was smooth and easy. We were asked to to the guest services to get the parking pass and other information; however that particular counter in the part of the resort we stayed in was mostly unattended. On the balance, a great place for a family to stay on visit to las vegas and surroundings.

Friendly staff, home away from home. Doesn't apply. I really enjoyed this hotel/resort. This was my second time staying at this hotel and it won't be my last. I stayed in a one bedroom suite, and it was like being home away from home. Great for couples. If you have children they have a recreation room, with video games, a family pool and adult pool. To get away from the crowd, you can enjoy a intimate cocktail at the bar inside the hotel. This hotel has a lot to offer, that I did not get to enjoy my first stay. They have a general store inside the hotel and a fitness area. My girlfriends and I definitely is doing a girls weekend here.

Great place to stay. Room was clean and tidy. Nice and quite... off ""The Strip"". Liked having the washer and dryer because we stayed for the full week. Exciting Vegas trip while still being able to rest and feel the resort experience.

We stayed for 3 nights in Las Vegas for our 10 yr. anniversary and were glad to be off the strip but still close. Had quiet sleep, our son loved the pools and sprinkler park. This was our best stay in Vegas ever. Food served for breakfast was similar to lunch line food at school, which was the only negative thing I can think of, all else was great. Friendly staff except for 2 young workers on the elevator making fun of tourist amongst themselves as if the tourist weren't standing right there, but that's about normal for teenagers. We look forward to returning next Vegas trip.
