We enjoyed our stay at Wyndham Garden Hotel downtown Atlanta. It is in walking distance of the King Center, Sun Dial restaurant, Peachtree Mall and many other downtown activities and places. The only negative is that the hotel does not serve lunch. We do plan to stay here again on any future trips to downtown Atlanta.

This hotel was much cheaper than others in the area, but you do get what you pay for. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located behind another hotel, and a large pool separates them. There is a homeless shelter nearby. This doesn't mean that the neighborhood is dangerous, but you will see homeless people in the area. Note that there is no business center in the hotel. Their one computer didn't have internet, so I had to go over to the other hotel to use their one computer, and wasn't able to print anything out since the printer was broken. The hotel is definitely more appropriate for vacation travelers.

We had to pay for parking and breakfast. The water in the big pool was freezing cold.

Very impressed with the room. Bed was soooo comfortable and I loved the flat screen tv. From the outside it is not a very impressive hotel but the rooms were surprisingly modern. I also loved the toiletries in the bathroom. Overall we had a great stay and I would recommend to anyone. Within walking distance to Piedmont and shopping and restaurants. Aquarium was quite a bit further than advertised, but not too bad (1.5 mile walk each way).

Could not get back into room after going down to breakfast without going to the front desk. This was an unnecessary hassle. Moved to a hotel out of downtown to save parking costs. Other than the above mentioned events, the hotel is very nice and comfortable.

The beds were super comfortable. Location. The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. I would reccommend it to others.

The hotel was located within walking distance of the center of downtown. The rooms were handsome and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is situated directly behind another hotel - so you have to drive through the parking lot of the first hotel to get to the Wyndham.

I stayed at the hotel and walked daily to the Marriott for a conference. The Wyndom was convenient, priced correctlt (about 1/2 of the Marriott) and everyone was very helpful.

The perfect use of the space. Overall I enjoyed the room and the staff was friendly and professional.

I'm biased for reasons that will probably not be an issue for most people who stay at this hotel. Although the hotel was very nice and the staff was equally nice, I realized JUST how wonderful they were when I left my purse in the room! I was all the way back in Florida when I realized it was there. The facilities manager went back to the room to search for my purse, locked it away in safekeeping and called me personally to "make my day" with good news of finding my purse.

Dirty room service trays were left in the hallways for at least two days even after I told the front desk they needed to be cleaned. This is a serious sanitation problem. Front desk clerk was somewhat surly. They screwed up my credit card imprint on check-in so I had to go back down late at night to get it authorized. They charge too much for parking--this is not a prime location.

Location and cleanliness. Hotel was clean, with friendly staff. Would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was conveniently located, but was extremely overpriced. The wireless internet was unavailable the entire stay and the staff could not accommodate an early check in which put us in a bind-having to go to the Braves game in our travel clothes. The food in the store in the lobby was suprisingly good and fairly priced. It was not a horrible experience, but i would not stay there again.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. We had a good night's sleep on the beds. Overall, it wsa a good hotel to stay in and a decent location.

Parking elevator goes right to rooms. No complimentary coffee in lobby. The hotel guide says there is complimentary coffee available in the lobby 24 hours a day. When I asked at the desk where to get the coffee I was directed to the snack bar. No one was at the snack bar and I had to wait. The snack bar charges for coffee. I have no humor at 6 am. They do provide a pot with coffee in the room, but I happen to like real milk instead of powdered creamer. The parking at this hotel was $15 per day. All parking in downtown Atlanta is high.

We picked this hotel because of the proximilty to the MLK historic district - but this is not a walking City! - and we ended up checking out and driving there. The hotel was clean and waling distance to a variety of restauants. Made to order eggs etc. for breakfast!

The Wyndham Garden in downtown Atlanta was perfect for our one night stay. I was a bit worried about the room after seeing the drab outside of the building but our room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. For the downtown Atlanta area, this hotel is a good value.

It is near downtown Atlanta and the rooms are nice and recently renovated. Expensive parking and breakfast. Right next to Interstate. While not aesthetically pleasing from the outside, the Wyndham Garden Hotel has been recently renovated on the inside and all the rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable beds. For themoney and the proximity of downtown Atlanta, this hotel is great. However, be aware of extra prices, $15 for parking per day and $12 for breakfast. The staff was courteous but not overly friendly. Overall, well worth the money!

"The hotel was pretty good for the money. The pool was great but other then that the rooms were shabby, the lobby was hopeless, the bar was tiny and had a poor selection but most of all it was so far from anything that you had to walk forever. I would spend the extra $10-50 for a hotel with better amenities and closer to things on a next trip."

The desk clerks were extremely pleasant and friendly. The room was satisfactory. The ice machine did not work so we had to go up 4 floors to find a working one. The next day I heard water dripping and discovered water dripping down from the ceiling tile by the ice machine. (close to my room). I told the front desk but by the end of the day it was still dripping. I would not choose this hotel again, mainly due to location. Without a car, you had to walk uphill several blocks to get near anything (restaurants, mall, etc)
