The night shift staff were very friendly. The room was like a remodeled Super 8. Stay here if you have to. Otherwise book another one. It's an upscale three star, certainly not worth four stars. Nothing extraordinary about this hotel except it's night shift service.

Hotel staff were very nice. Room was very clean and very nice, a little wear and tear, i.e. a crack in the wall behind the chair and chipped bathroom tile in the shower, but I am very meticulous. The room was great though, wonderful bedding and pillows, not to mention the soaps and shampoos. Very cool lobby with a photography exhibit of all famous Austin musicians with bios. The fact that it is a green hotel is also a plus. Rooms are very pretty. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I dont even know where to begin..... 1. The carpet was stained. 2.The pool is way less than spectacular3. When I went to take a shower , I unfolded the towel and they were not only stained (all of the towels). 4. The hotel staff was rude and dressed appropriately. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE,

Beds were comfortable and the rooms clean, tastefully decorated and convenient to family friendly activities. Crowded at points with conference attendees.

Four of us (2 couples) have stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row while we work at SXSW and we can't say enough about it. The staff is unbelievably friendly and accomodating from check in to check out. The restuarant and bar are better than expected at a hotel, the rooms are very very clean, shower pressure is super, the beds are very comfy. The margaritas from the bar hit the spot, my friend has a food allergy and she's always had a very understanding and fine experience when ordering food at the restuarant. We're a goofy, rowdy bunch and we've only ever been treated well here. For the insanity of working SXSW, this hotel is a welcome haven. We also enjoy being able to lounge in the evening at the pool and talk with friends late into the night. We will always book at this hotel when we stay in Austin.

Stayed here on business and really only slept at the hotel. Quiet (we were right off the lobby and I'm a light sleeper) and comfortable beds. Very convenient to the highway and downtown, as well as good Tex-Mex on Oltorf and SoCo food and shopping. We stayed in the area last year at a different hotel and for 10 more a night, it was a much more pleasant experience.Wireless was a bit slow, but staff rebooted the server and things ran a bit better.

Lobby. No security level noticed, people walked into my room after we had checked in! My kids and I were very scared. Will never stay at that hotel name, I travel 2 or 3 times aweek for work, and this was the worst experience ever!

I stayed at the Wyndham for 3 nights and enjoyed all the accomodations. The front desk was helpful in suggesting activities, the hotel restaurant had delicious food, the coffee guy made a great white chocolate mocha and the bartenders were very friendly. The King size bed was very comfortable and I especially enjoyed all the pillows it had on it. I watched a movie in the room, which was a little pricey, but cheaper than 2 people going to the movie theater. The selection of movies was large and they were all flicks that are still out in theaters. I met some Great people here and I look forward to visiting Austin again at the Wyndham Garden Hotel.

I had read several reviews from a few months back that complained about construction- rest assured it appears they're done. I found my stay to be about as good as this class of hotel offers. the place is new and clean, it is near a highway so it's not the quietest place...but convient to downtown and airport. No bells and whistels, just average new hotel.

Room was very nice and well furnished. Dirty carpets in the hallways & our view of a very dirty employees smoke area. It is located fairly close (10 minutes South downtown Austin). The room was very clean and nicely appointed with a very comfortable king sized bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only down sides were dirty carpets in the hallways and our room over looked a very dirty employee smokers area.

Just outside of Austin, hotel is currently under construction so the rates are better. The rooms are nice with granite countertops and excellent accomodations.

Captured the best of Austin in decor and service! Not a damn thing. The staff were amazing. Courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. The room was lovely as were the public spaces. The beds were super comfy, the shower/bathtub and toilet were very nice. I appreciated their steps to go green!

Other than the nice granite, the ""renovation"" is poor. The beds squeeked, the lavatory stopper did not work, the air conditioner was old and had only a low and high cold fan, the thermostat did not work, the doors were old and the bathroom door had rusty hinges which created a need to tug the door open and closed. The ceilings were low and the room was dark. The window ""treatment"" would not raise or lower--it looked like it was made of paper and was torn, as well. To top it all off, I was charged incorrectly for the second night of the stay. The room was clean.

Proximity to downtown. Beds were a little firm. Great location, nice decor, beautiful pool. Bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed. Enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Front desk staff was very helpful. Loud party from midnight until 3 am. Even though my stay at the hotel was a brief one, I was very disappointed in the noise level. There was a loud party in the pool area and in some rooms that lasted from midnight until 3 am. The front desk staff was helpful throughout my stay, but that couldn't overcome my displeasure with this hotel. Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone stay there at least anyone who wants a nice night's sleep.

Price. Location, room decor, restaurant. At 3 1/2 stars, it isway overrated. The spray on ceilingand wall finish made my room look like a Motel 6 room ie. cheap. At check in, the front desk clerk pushed the breakfast buffet. It sounded good, so we sat down for breakfast, only to have the waiter said there were so few guests that we did not offer the buffet.

Location, price. Small bathtub, no storage space in bathroom. Hotel was clean, staff appeared friendly, helpful, efficient. Stayed one night for graduation in Buda. Bathroom was small. Great for business traveler, not a romantic get away.

The themed tribute to the Austin music talent. The room had a musty smell when we arrived, but got better. This was a very friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Comfy bed and pillows. The first room on 1st floor smelled old and had gnats or moths - we killed at least 8 and then asked for another room. The 2nd room was fine- staff was great- hotel is older and has been updated, but carpet in rooms is worn.
