Good value for money. However, we were placed in a smoking room with an 8 month old daughter against all health regulations and had to move from our double room to a twin room on the first floor. This room was right beside an extractor fan! So beware the whole second floor is smoking. By the way, we were told by the manager that we had to request a non-smoking room when the health regulations say the exact opposite!!! A stuffy hotel but as I said, it was very good value for money.

Awful hotel and staff. Air conditioning unit very loud in room and when mentioned to receptionist she was so unfriendly and couldn't give a damn. Asked to speak to a manager and was made feel as if i was a nuisance. He was no better and said he would be in touch to make it up to us. That was over 9 months ago! Dump of a hotel. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

as i was attending a wedding in the waterford castle, it was very convenient to stay in the woodlands. i found the staff very very helpful and was welcomed to the hotel by very friendly staff

Didn't eat in Restaurant. Hotel itself was lovely, pool etc great, pity it's so far out of Waterford City. Good Value for money, Receptionist lovely, very helpful! Thank you!

The inclusion of little, yellow, rubber ducks in the bathroom was an interesting, if perhaps slightly odd touch!Overall, a more than adequate hotel offering value for money. The inclusion of information on the Leisure Centre in the hotel brochure in the room would have been useful. Also, the early finish to room service was a little disappointing after a long journey.
