A bit far away from the city center, but really pretty, with a big pub downstairs and clean rooms. Not so expensive, but you can find better accomodations!

I would rate the quality of the room as low considering this is a 3 star hotel. There was severe damp damage on the walls, the decor needed an upgrade and the tele hardly worked. Was not a big issue for us lads, but had my wife been with she would have walked out. regards,

Old world hotel and bar. On arrival received a good welcome. When went to bar, I felt I was an outsider and had to wait some time to get served. Locals looked to see who was in their bar. On leaving hotel I was asked to pay even though had assumed prepaid through Late Rooms. When I made an enquiry if this was correct, I received no reply, just requesting payment. I would not return based on responce and treatment that morning

The staff were hardly helpful at first but attentiveness improved as the stay progressed. This is basicly Fawlty Towers meets the Rover's Return. A good overnight stay for a game at the local Gaelic or Rugby stadia, but don't expect to get too much sleep as the bar was buzzing into the small hours..

Nice hotel with a lively bar that was popular with the locals. Probably due a a refurb (some peeling wallpaper in my room and the corridor) but great value for money and one I would definately stay in again

We had a pleasant one night stay here. Had some trouble finding the hotel as the signs are hidden behind the trees if you're driving towards the town. Rooms are good size and clean. Good parking space. Dinner was delicious at the restaurant. Overall good value for money.

Hotel bar and breakfast room are fine, breakfast was good. Rooms need refurbishing I think although the bathroom and bedlinen were clean. If you're looking for cheap and cheerful, this will do you. Probably wouldn't stay here again though.

I stayed at this hotel for a night before I flew out of the Shannon airport. It was not only a great price but a good hotel (for the price). My boyfriend and I ordered room service and the food was not only delicious but really big portions! The hotel is older but it has a nice energy to it. We both really liked it!

The room could do with being decorated, apart from that, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful!

The Hotel is quite old fashioned but perfect if you are looking for a reasonably priced Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a very friendly Hotel bar where a lot of locals frequent. The hotel is conveniently located on the Galway side of Limerick.

Twin room not available for both nights of stay. On the first night we were shown the double room for the second night which was currently being used as a beer store. Crumbs on bedside locker in twin room. Room chair old and dirty - requires replacement. Service in bar very slow. Food enjoyable. Slept fine 11pm-3am when woken up by very loud music and hoovering from bar below. Went downstairs to see see where noise was coming from only to find one barman watching music videos on the pubs widescreen tv which was linked to the pubs surround sound system. A second barman was hoovering. The door to the bar area was wide open, but even if closed would have made little difference. Complained to the manager in morning, however I felt that I got little satisfaction. Checked out after first night and did not stay the second night due to the above. Had to arrange alternative accommodation at the last minute for the second night, which was an inconvenience. Will not be staying here again or recommending it to anyone. Please ensure I am not erronously charged for the second night. These are my opinions which I feel accurately portray my direct experiences of the Woodfield House Hotel.

The hotel was a bit far from the city centre, but being a small city this was not too much of a problem. Had food in the bar, which was great with a huge portion. Also, the bar seems to attract locals at night, which makes it quite a nice and social place, even though there weren't that many guests when we were staying at the hotel.
