I made reservations to stay at this hotel and when i inquired about the AAA discount, I was told that I could have either the discount or passes to Mt. Olympus. I choose the Mt. Olympus passes as it was a bigger savings. We checked into our room and noticed the offensive moldy, mildew, stale cigarettes smell. We then went to put our bottled water in the frig and found that it had six inches of frost in it. There was some food smeared on the inside and the outside of the microwave and the entire suite only had one wastebasket. The room looks as if it needed updated. The beds and pillows were rock hard. The pool area was very faded, not at all like the beautiful pictures shown on the internet. Every time we left our room, we had to walk through the sprinklers and get soaked. Not quite what I expected in a so called luxury hotel. We decided that night to get a different hotel in the morning, so we called front desk and inquired about any penalties should we check out early. We were told we would pay for the one night only (which we stayed one night), so the next morning, we went down and got our Mt. Olympus tickets and checked out. Nothing was said about us taking the tickets, which were supposed to be included with a stay. When we checked out, we asked if our Visa had been credited and we were told it was. Nothing was said about us not receiving a credit since we took the passes to Mt. Olympus. Several weeks later the charge is still on my Visa. When I called and asked why my Visa account had not been credited, I was told that they have no records when we checked out. Furthermore, the receipt we were given was very unprofessional with no company name or letterhead or even the date. I made numerous calls to resolve this issue, but every time I was transferred to voice mail and no one ever called me back. After threatening to call BBB I finally talked to the owner, she said she could not credit our account because we took our supposedly free Mt. Olympus tickets even though we were not told that we would have to pay for them. It would have been much cheaper for us to just buy the Mt. Olympus tickets at the door. I am trying to resolve the issue through my Visa. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy let alone any friends or relatives.
