Cost and location. Noise from hall. I like the hotel but it is very basic.

We stayed there for 6 nights and had a pretty poor experience. There were four of us in a room and two different housekeepers told us they can only give 3 towels per room. When I asked for another washcloth (there was only one) I was told that they didn't have time to help me, call the desk later. They didn't clean the bathrooms, vaccum the floors or change the sheets (even when we left the request) during the week. There was a bunch of mud in the hall ways (they weren't vaccumed all week either) which was tracked in and so it was very visible that they needed to do the vaccuming. We were travelling with another family and I booked our rooms together several months ago and yet they ended up way down the hall. I tried calling the manager on 4 occassions and he never called me back, apparently the front desk never passed the messages on? On the up side, the pool was fun for the kids, but there were hardly ever any towels there and even when you went to the front desk to request some, they never showed up. The breakfast was quite good and lots of it, the ladies there took great care of it. Over all, this could be a fabulous hotel for families as the rooms are large and it is in a good location. But the front desk staff, housekeepers and manager are all in need of training on their customer service.

Rooms were not kept clean. I would not stay here again. The front desk people were unfriendly and unhelpful. The cleaning crew did not do a great job of keeping the room clean. The internet was poor.

Great hotel for children they really enjoyed the pool and waterslide, even thought he pool was a little chilly. We enjoyed the hottub as well. The breakfast was just wonderful, especially the waffle maker! Clean and well kept hotel. The location was excellent as it was very close to the West Edmonton mall as well as many other attractions and restaurants. Staff were helpful in providing directions to local attractions. Great stay for the price! Would definitley stay there again if we are in Edmonton!!

Location was good for business traveler. Room cleanliness level was poor. Very average hotel, cleaning staff needs lessons, and maintenance needs to stay on top of things better.

I had expected with a 4 star rating that the rooms in general would be of better quality. The thing that stands out the most is the tiny bathroom that had black mold in the corners of the tub. I was afraid to take a shower and only used the bathroom for its facility. I used the mirror in the other room for makeup etc. I can honestly say that I will choose another hotel on my next trip. The desk clerk was also a problem. When we had checked in we turned to leave and could not find the elevator. The answer came from another guest, not the clerk. She was not helpful at all.

Very comfortable and beyond my expectations. Breakfast ended too early.

We arrived to find that the bathroom had not been cleaned and there were no towels. We called the front desk and told them what needed to be done. (The cleaning staff were working on rooms on our floor.) An hour-and-a-half later, no one had come to take care of it and the cleaning staff had moved on! (It also made us wonder what else they didn't clean!)We also called to complain that the air conditioning was not working (it was 30 degrees out). They did send someone up who clearly did not know what he was doing. He banged around on the air conditioning unit until it started but admitted that it seemed to have a short and could go at any time. When we asked if we could move to another room, they told us that they didn't have any others available, but we could use a desk fan to cool our room if the air conditioner went again! Needless to say, we checked out.

The hotel was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is definitely appropriate for kids.

Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was slim pickings and very busy. We always enjoy staying here, it is clean and feels new. The kids love the pool although it is on the cool side. Breakfast was a bit crazy with not much to choose from, maybe extend the hours until 10 am.

"This hotel was acceptable, but I question the value. The front desk employees were actually rude, we waited for 8hours for extra pillows, before we went downstairs to get them ourselves but the waterslide was cool for the kids. Breakfast was awesome, but get there VERY early as when the grub is gone they don't restock too fast. Would definatly check out the other hotels in the area and compare."

Neat and clean, very nice. Its located off a one way street! Good price for quality of hotel, would definitely stay again.

"This hotel is superb for families with small children. The waterslide is challenging enough, but safe for small children. The pool depth is shallow enough for small kids and warm. The waffle maker for breakfast took the breakfast from boring to entertaining. Excellent!"

Nice facilities. Large rooms. Desk staff not helpful. Pool area not maintained i.e. Towels were not available. Difficult to get help. Overtly nice hotel. Quiet location. Large rooms. Good selection for continental breakfast. However no amenities nearby. No place to get small items. Like batteries, Tums, Housekeeping staff very nice but desk staff non helpful. They didn't know they had maps until pushed. They were not very helpful with anything we asked for.

Easy access from Jasper and close to West Edmonton Mall. Good access to major highways. A above average quality hotel which was clean and comfortable complete with continental breakfast make is a first choice place to stay for short or long term.

Family friendly, breakfast incl., clean. Tricky to access if unfamiliar with city, didn't meet out reservation requirement. Met our needs but too warm. Would stay again for family trip to west ed. Mall. Would like the reservation to be what we requested rather than a substitute unless getting more not less.

The Native decor was very nice. The thermostat did not appear to work properly. The decor and staff were excellent. The thermostat did not seem to work quickly enough. We either roasted or froze.
