First of all, it took me over 1 1/2 hours to get checked in. The desk clerk was more interested in watching American Idol than working with me. Then She did find me on the computer but said my reservation was not transferred over to the active account. I showed her the Conf # and even went online to allow her to see the # but she didnt budge. After calling Orbitz customer service 3 times and allowing them to speak to the lady, she still would not give me a room till she received a fax from Orbitz.

The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful but the maids were something else.. The cofee that is in the room was not refilled on occasion, it was never vacuumed, there were no comment cards in the rooms and they never dissposed of the used soap like other hotels do that aren't as pricy, Also they had written that they had a pool along with a whirlpool and a fitness center. Well they had the whirlpool and fitness center but no pool. If they do not have it they should not advertise it. The food was good when they had it.It was full on Tuesday although there was no orange juice mixed but as the days went by the food got less and less and they did not refill just took it away. They did not empty the garbage cans that were out in the foyer to use to trow away paper products. They were filled to overflowing come Sunday. Workers just stood around and talked to other workers.

This hotel is new. Staff is courteous and attentive. Great for anyone needing a stopover or a business hotel.

This is the best hotel in Madison!! I knew I was home when I saw the granite on the shower walls!! The Belgian waffles, sausage biscuits, and other goodies for breakfast was great!! The service was excellent. I look forward to returning. Strongly recommend this hotel.
