I was only there for one eveneing, but it was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Comfortable, very clean, nicely decorated. Received a call from front desk shortly after arrival to check if everything was ok. The pillows were worn out and very uncomfortable. We all awoke with stiff necks. We booked this hotel for a weekend trip to Chattanooga. It was a short distance from town, but convenient to a large mall and a lot of restaurants. The room was very, very nice spacious and clean. The only downside was the pillows. They were worn and flat and very uncomfortable. Other than that, we would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The service was not great. I got major attitude from the front desk girl when I told her I was having a problem getting the key to work. And more when I asked her to change us to a room without a view of the lobby. Later when we thought to maybe ask her about local places we found her watching the big screen tv in the lounge area. Overall it just seemed like the staff was lazy (or at least she was). It does appear that the rooms have been renovated fairly recently but you can still tell it's an older hotel overall. The lights in the bathroom are so hot that it feels like a sauna when you walk in there. The beds are NOT comfortable. I tossed and turned all night and woke up sore & stiff. That said, for a decent price you do get a room with a mini-fridge and a microwave and a king size bed. It's not the worst hotel bed I've encountered but it's definately not the best either. We would stay here again if we were going back to the same area and could not find a better hotel. However, there are at least 10 hotels in spitting distance and I'm guessing at least one of them is better.

We were driving to TN and got a coupon for 75 a night for a 159.00 room. The staff was fast and friendly. The grounds were clean and secure. Room was clean and well maintained. The hot tub was wonderful and the free hot breakfast was right on time. We visit Chattanooga quite a bit and have stayed and a lot of hotels but Wingate was by far the best. This is now our hotel of choice.

The clerk at check-in was wonderful. She answered all our questions, gave us directions and discount coupons to some area restaurants. The bed was soooo comfortable. Better than home. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hot breakfast was great. The hotel is located right next to the mall and lots of great restaurants. The location was convenient but quiet. The business center was a great amenity, with internet, printer, fax, copier. There is no pool, but an indoor hot tub, which was great after a day of sightseeing.

Above average security and it could use some upgrades in security. No pool. Not a bad hotel, minor flaws here and there. Nice and clean though! Room had a slight musty smell, HVAC units need service and clean out this would solve the musty odor.

The service was horrible. i am not sure how a 5 story hotel doesn't have extra pillows. the fire alarm went off in the morning and scared my kids. we called the front desk and were laughed at. The internet advertised a indoor pool not a hot tub. i would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

The only problem I had with the room was that it was too dark--it either needed more lamps or higher wattage bulbs. It was very clean and comfortable. Our room didn't get cleaned since we left later in the afternoon and I should've informed the desk of that. The hot breakfast bar was very good, with a wide array of food choices. The wireless internet was stable & fast (& free). They also had a decent selection of channels on the TV. Our room had a fridge & microwave, which both worked & were quite clean. The telephone didn't work however, but the desk said that they were all being replaced. There's an Arby's near the parking lot, but other restaurants should probably be driven to as it's on a busy 4 lane road.

The hotel beds were very comfortable. In the bathtub, the sealant around the grab bar and showerhead had mold on it. It took over 24 hours for the staff to clean and change the showerhead.

Bathroom was moldy! No proper ventilation. The Lobby area was recently upgraded...wish thye would pay similar attnention to their rooms!

Easy accessibility and great privacy. Noise from adjacent rooms was apparent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wingate hotel. It provided us everything that we were looking for and was located in an ideal environment, close to many amenities. Would greatly recommend for anyone traveling to Chattanooga that does not 'have' to stay downtown.

Very good location to area shopping and entertainment. Shower was not the greatest and very poor shower heads with low water pressure. Very clean and pleasant hotel. Had easy access to major highways and local shopping centers. Breakfast was a major plus for the price of the stay. Staff was very easy to work with, quick check in and out.
