We enjoyed our stay at the Winston-Salem Wingate. The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The parking is across the street from the hotel, but aside from that I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff, appealing décor, excellent bed & bedding, nice full breakfast. Inconvenient parking, breakfast tables not kept clean, noisy heater fan. This conveniently-located and easy-to-find hotel is attractively decorated. It boasts helpful, friendly staff. Beds are exceptionally comfortable, rooms are nice, and the full breakfast includes good variety. Parking in deck across the street is a bit inconvenient, but it is free, so who can complain?

This specific room was frustrating. The majority of the lights did not work. The microwave did not work. The television was nice and the bed was comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff; good breakfast. With heat on, curtains blew out, bringing light into room, making it difficult to sleep. This hotel is adequate in amenities and above average in staff assistance.

The bed was the most comfortable ever. The fire alarm that wend off for 20 minutes the last night.

Parking not connected to hotel, food on chairs, andhair in bathroom. Valet parking reluctantly available M-F. Guests expected to walk two blocks in city even at late arrival. I was a woman traveling alone with small children. Desk clerk walked with me after complaint and request for security guard assistance.

Staff was so friendly and very helpful - traded rooms when the pull-out bed didn't work. They had signs posted that breakfast couldn't be taken up to your room to eat. This hotel is a lovely spot for travelers for either business in the Winston-Salem area or visitors touring the area. Not the most family friendly hotels but they didn't complain about our children either. The rooms are very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and parking was close by. They allowed the kids to use the whirlpool and grab a hot chocolate whenever they wanted! Breakfast was a bit more difficult since they posted signs that you couldn't take food back up to your room and frankly it is sometimes just easier to feed little ones away from the breakfast crowd. That aside, we had a wonderful time and would be happy to visit there again.

Clean hotel with covered parking. Good free breakfast. The rooms were a little small. Second floor rooms give easiest access out back door to parking. Lobby was nice with comfortable seating. Rooms were a bit small but clean and comfortable. Very convenient to downtown, 10 minutes from Hanes Mall and from Country Club area.

Staff was welcoming and professional. Although one of the face towels was cleaned it appeared dirty, as if it had been used to clean a shoe. My overall stay at this hotel was excellent. The staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Although one of the face towels was cleaned, it looked as if someone had used it to perhaps polish their shoes. Nevertheless, the hotel staff immediately provided us with clean towels. I would recommend others to stay at this hotel.

Convenient to Salem College, clean, nice rooms. Wish they would have had queen beds rather than double and a pool. However the Jacuzzi was a nice surprise. The hotel was very convenient to Salem College and also Hanes Mall. We will stay there.

An incredible value for the price at a very good downtown location. I hate that I didn't find this hotel a year before. For me, the most desirable qualities in a hotel are cleanliness (particularly in the bathroom), good linens and better-than-basic cable. This hotel had these qualities at a level that far exceeded most of the budget hotels in the industry. If you've stayed at the others, once you spend one night in this Wingate by Wyndham, you will never want to return to the others. The Wingate is perhaps the next best thing to home.

Close to where we had to go to on Sunday. Had to get light bulbs for our room;1 blown & the other didn't work. We enjoyed our stay in the Wingate on April 19 and 20. I would recommend your hotel to others who are traveling to Winston-Salem in the near future.

The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The parking was not convenient. It is a good hotel and I would stay there again if the parking was not away from the hotel. If you get there at night it is not very safe. The room however is very nice and the bed was great because I was tired and I sleep great.

Proximity to downtown convention center. Parking deck not attached to main building. This hotel was convenient to the convention center and was clean. The coin operated drink machines were empty and the desk clerk said, Yep, we know. Obviously the interest there was not service.

The bed was most comfortable. The breakfast was good. The room was big. The parking deck was across the street. This was a good hotel the room was nice and big king bed. But I had requested a double room I was to be traveling with a friend. But they weren't able to make it. So the king worked out great. I did overhear others with the same problem at the desk and they were given roll away beds, which I don't think would have worked for my back.

The restaurant was incredible the chop house. I am used to a plusher hotel but, it was very adequate for a business hotel. The parking was great, the staff was lovely and the facilities were very nice.

Very clean, good amenities, convenient andquiet. Pleasantly surprised with options - safe in room; bar; microwave, internet access. I would recommend this hotel. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express, Marriott Residence and La Quinta in W-S and found this motel to give more bang for the buck.

The size of the room and the noise level. The wallpaper peeling off the walls near elevators and parking across street with no easy access to parking lot from room. The hotel has very friendly staff. The room has plenty of space.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Needs more premium TV. Channels. We were pleasantly greeted by a young man who answered all of our questions, helped us with a lot of luggage. When asked to recommend a pizza shop nearby he did and had to go on the net to get the correct phone number and then drove me there to pick it up GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION.

Downtown location, spotless and service was perfect. No complaints at all. The Wingate Inn Winston-Salem was probably the best hotel experience I've ever had. The location in downtown is convenient and the room had a terrific view of the skyline. The room was very luxurious and spotless. The hotel facilities were terrific and the staff was as friendly and professional as Hotels and resorts that cost 4 times what the Wingate did. I have already recommended them to friends and family and will most likely be staying there again.
