It was great. We used the hotel as our base, and would go off each day on big road trips and excursions into Vegas. It was nice to come back to a clean, quiet hotel. The breakfasts were really great too!

Every area was non-smoking. It did not have a restaurant or mini bar. When my husband and I go back to Vegas we will stay here. It was incredibly nice not to stay on the strip. The hotel was super clean, not overcrowded, non-smoking, and very upscale in comparison to some of the other Vegas hotels that we have stayed at. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and a very nice television. It would be worth a cab ride to the strip to stay here. For some a downside would be no casino, that was perfect for us.

I have to let you know it is really nice. But if you are a light sleeper. Don't stay here. I clould hear my neigbor on the side, above walking and talking even from down stairs. In the moring the housekeeping is knocking on doors calling out housekeeping. It is as if she is right at your door. The last night stay there I had to call front desk Because the neighbor's T.v was up loud and they tried to call the room (Three time) to no avail I called agan to have security to go to the room. I was told they DON'T HAVE SECURITY.

the only disadvantage with this hotel is that it is 15 minutes drive from the Las Vegas strip. Other than this it is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. the pool was clean and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves in it. Breakfast had something for all of us. we would stay here again despite it being located away from the Strip!!!

Very nice place. Most comfortable bed I've had in a while. Room has all you need, fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, safe and free internet. Had the free breakfast one morning and it was fine. Access will be a little easier when road construction is done. Very clean. Staff very professional.

Efficiency with friendliness and cleanliness. Distance but it is nice to be outside chaos. This was an excellent hotel, way beyond my expectations in Vegas I am impressed with Wyndham our first to stay in.

We enjoyed staying here. Since we knew it was going to be a crazy holiday weekend we decided to stay somewhere off of the strip. The room, swimming pool, fitness center, and the computer room were great. Everything was very clean and I felt that for the price we paid it was definitely worth it. The only tip I can suggest is if they ask you what floor you want pick the top floor. We were on the 3rd floor and ended up with someone with little kids above us who really loved jumping around. Other than that our stay was perfect.

The walls are too thin and even though this is a business-type hotel 2 men decided to party hard in the room next to us on Thursday and Friday nights. They made so much noise that we were woken from sleep around 2am and we could hear their exact words! (One was commenting on the other vomiting). The desk clerk on duty seemed paralized as to what to do. The second night the men brought back 2 women who were loud laughers. The desk clerk did sternly tell the men to quiet down and that seemed to work...and the women left. It was too late for us, as we had to leave a few hours later for an early flight! Partiers should choose a hotel near the strip. Too bad considering the rooms were clean and the location was convenient. B'fast was good and the internet in the room is very convenient. Business people who need a good night sleep beware!

Enjoyed staying at the Wingate. Away from the hustle and bustle of the strip, but easy driving distance by car. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained. Rooms very spacious and clean. Very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay with professional and friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in a short distance.

Great Henderson area location at a good value. Close to Seven Hills, restaurants, shopping and other newer SW areas of town. Great off strip place to stay especially while visiting family. Room was new, spacious, clean and had a pretty good view of the city. Bed was pretty soft and better than most hotel beds. Breakfast was decent and just like other continental breakfasts, but it was free. Definitely would stay here again.

The staff were very friendly & helpful and provide a local shuttle service that was excellent. The room was extremely clean, had a mini-fridge and microwave-they looked new, but I didn't use them. The breakfast was very nice-lots of options. The only real problem with this hotel was there was no shuttle from the airport, but since it was ~10mi away, I can see that not being a priority. The Henderson area was nice, but if you're going to see Vegas, you may want to try somewhere closer-it's ~20 min. taxi to the strip. If you were into playing golf, shopping, etc... then definitely check this place out. I was there for a wedding and it was convenient for the Henderson area.

This was a surprise trip for my husband and he just loved it. The staff was very freindly and helpful. We were there for New Years and our first year anniversary. It was a great location with a great veiw of the strip. Last time we stayed on the strip and it was to busy for us. If we wanted to go to the strip, they would give us a ride over to South Point and we would take their van to the strip. The staff was great. Its hard to tell you what a great bunch of people working there. Right down to the people who clean the rooms, the front desk and people who stayed at the hotel were very freindly. I would stay there again. Thanks

Very new and clean. Walls were too thin and we could hear snoring and all sorts of other evening activities of other guests.

The room was very clean, there was no smoke odor like a lot of places, and the beds were comfortable. It is a very quiet location, which can be a nice change when staying in Las Vegas! The complimentary breakfast was very impressive.

My wife and I stayed at the Wingate during our move from Southern California to Henderson, Nevada. Since we had to be out of our home on a Friday and our household goods were not being delivered until the following Monday, we looked for the closest hotel to our new residence which was the Wingate (5 minutes away from our new residence). We had stayed at several hotels all over the Las Vegas area over the years, but found that the WIngate had to be ranked at the top with the best non-casino hotels in the area. Their staff were extremely friendly, room extremely clean and had a balcony overlooking the whole strip which was a bonus, and close to restaurants and shopping. The morning breakfast was definitely a plus to get the day started. We would definitely recommend these Suites to anyone traveling and/or staying in the area if they do not want to stay at a casino, particularly anyone with children. My only recommendation when booking the Wingate is to book directly with the Wingate Suites and NOT go through one of the known travel agencies that are on the Internet.

My wife asked me why I spent so much for a hotel room and so far from the Las Vegas Strip...then she saw our room. The windows (plural) faced the Strip. The third floor had a great view of the Strip, even though it was miles away. The room was one of the best we had ever been in- it was a suite (and it was sweet). There was a balcony and a kitchenette. I do believe we had the thought of living there. Breakfast was above average. The other patrons were very friendly, like we all shared the same secret. Being a pilot, I was interested in the proximity to Henderson Airtport which was only a few blocks away. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my pilot friends and to others.

my daughter and i enjoyed our stay here...the rooms were great, very comfy. the amenities were good also. it is in a great location if you are looking to be away from the busy strip atmosphere, yet lots of restaurants and shops close by. the breakfast was okay. the area itself is still developing so there is lots to come, and it's close to the freeway. i would gladly stay here again for the price it was great!!!! thanks wingate

Our first stay not only with Wingate, but in the Las Vegas area, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very clean, with easy access from the freeway, and the rooms were comfortable and large. Distance to the main strip is not far. The bathrooms were nicely marbled and with enough counter space to accommodate more than one person's toiletries easily. Being away from the main strip, the hotel was nice and quiet. Restaurant and gas station conveniently next to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel if going to the Las Vegas area.
