I went to visit my daughter in Columbia, SC. My youngest daughter said she would go on this website to get me and my wife a room but I'm not to comfortable about online transaction. So I called the hotel and the price she found was $22.00 cheaper per night so I let her book it online. The hotel was so beautiful and clean. The staff was exceptional courtesy and they had a great continental breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again and booking my reservation on at [...]

Clean high quality hotel. The staff. This poses a major problem for me and my older sons who insist on their own beds. Sometimes hotels accommodate me but this staff was totally hostile to Internet buyers.

Returned from a meeting to find the door to my room blocked open. Nothing was missing from the room.Wireless service worked only for the first two days of my stay. Reported wireless service was not working mid-day on third day. Wireless service was still unavailable the next day. Had to ask twice to get towels for my room.I would not stay there again!

Chose this hotel for it's location. Provided for most of my needs except the media center was closed for the entire week. Was informed that the service provider was being changed. I don't think this should have taken a week. Other than this, overall a good week.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful. This hotel was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. The room was set up in suite like fashion which was very roomy, conducive to reading/studying. I would stay here again.

First room bathroom floor was waxed and very slippery, second room had ants on desk and burned out light, third room toilet was running. We selected hotel because it had a pool, the pool was broke. Did not stay after trying 3 different rooms and will not stay there in the future.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, overall clean hotel. Some cosmetic issues. Overall not really bad but there was some maintenance issues that I noticed here and there. Kind of a bad reflection on the owner of the hotel. Service was good, Room was clean. The only thing about the room was that the toilet would run about every half hour, got annoying after awhile.

We stayed in Columbia as we visited the Riverbanks Zoo, Carowinds theme park and Patriots Point. Hotel was OK. Beds not comfortable (old and could feel the springs), carpets stained (bad) and sheets stained (ugh). Bathroom not clean to my standard. Hot breakfast was very nice for comp and staff was OK. Would not stay here if we visit the area again. Price with military disc was excellent at *. I guess we got what we paid for.

Came for a visit to USC and stayed two nights. Very good for the price I got off Orbitz. On the north side of Columbia, so a little distance from downtown, but not too bad. Room was clean, spacious and well kept. Bed was comfortable, as was the armchair - I nearly fell asleep in that. We appreciated having the fridge, microwave and free wi-fi in the rooms. In the midst of a larger plaza, so there were several dining options only a few blocks away. Didn't speak with the staff very much, as check-in and check-out were quick. Continental breakfast was okay; sufficient for a quick bite but nothing too in-depth. We didn't use the pool, business or fitness center. I would certainly stay there again.

We were put in a room with one king bed, but willing switched it to a two bed room. That was much appreciated. We arrived late, at 10:00 and found the pool closed. It would have been nice to use those facilities.

My friend was having her 50th b-day party in Columbia and just about everyone in attendance including the honoree stayed at this hotel. It was a very nice hotel, we had a large king size room, the spa was nice, breakfast etc. The rate was unbelieveable. We will certainly stay here again.

Nice, clean & new looking. Nothing. Everything was fresh, clean and new looking. I really loved the business center, being able to access my emails, print copies for free and check my stocks on line. Also the free breakfast was great!

We have stayed at numerous hotels in the Columbia area and found this one to be the best. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Will stay there again when in the area.

Continental breakfast was great. Rooms clean and airy and well equipped. Neighboring restaurants. Excellent value for the money. Clean, airy, quick to the highway. Good sports bar on one side and family Italian on the other.

This was by far the cleanest hotel I have every stayed at - everything gleamed! The pillows were so soft! I'll stay here again next time I'm in Columbia!

My stay was great.I liked the size and location of the hotel, although I thought I was going to be closer to Georgia. There is one closer, but I was ok here. The breakfast bar was terrific and the staff very friendly.I'd recommend it to anyone. LEW (Rockville Va)

Very clean, staff was awesome! Helpful and friendly, bed linens were great. They missed cleaning our room one of the nights, housekeeping staff needs improvement. The public areas of the hotel were very clean. The breakfast was great. The staff kept all items stocked on the breakfast bar and there were a lot of choices. Did not use exercise facility so nothing to gauge. Whirlpool area was nice and clean, stocked with towels. Staff was great, helped us with questions about the area, really friendly. Wanted so badly to give it an A+ but the housekeeping staff forgot to clean one night. Other than that, excellent experience.
