My daughter and I were in Erie looking at Apts. for her recent relocation. We were pleasantly surprised at how kind and helpful everyone at the hotel was. The girls working the breakfast were extremly friendly and helpful.

My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend, so we reserved a jacuzzi suite which we were unable to use because the constructuion crew never cleaned th' grout out of the jacuzzi resulting in a rough jacuzzi,we couldn;t even sit in it. THe hotel was great and the response to our needs was immediate. The cleaning staff tried to clean it but it was beyond their ability . The continental breakfast was great and the staff was excellent. We would consider staying there again as the price was good as well as location.

Close to major attractions, restaurants, etc. Very clean, excellent hot breakfast, great stay for the money! The only downfall is that it did not have shuttle service to Splash Lagoon. Excellent hotel, very clean, great room and wonderful hot breakfast in the morning. The only downfall is if you are staying in the area to visit Splash Lagoon for a 2nd night they do not have shuttle service of any kind. It was about 5 degrees outside when we were up to visit and having to get into a very cold car with wet hair was not a lot of fun.

Most people were very helpful and friendly, but one person at the desk was not helpful and actually told us we could take our own trash out to the dumpster behind the hotel!

The hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful! They had popcorn for the guests. N/A The hotel was clean and the location was great; easy to find. The staff was friendly and helpful, always a smile. I needed directions and they knew right away where it was ans gave great directions.

The room was clean and comfortable with many perks-the coffee maker and the refrig and microwave. The room was attractively decorated. My only surprise was there was no fan for the bathroom!

The room far exceeded my expectations. Very clean and modern. I would, without hesitation, recommend it to friends and family.

I stayed here earlier this summer for the first time with my son and just loved the place. This time, my husband and I came up for a weekend alone and enjoyed it immensely! The room is large, the bed comfortable. Despite the fact the hotel was booked 100%, there was no problem with elevators or hot water (I hate places that run out of hot water when they are full - but no problem here!). First thing we did? Down to the whirlpool! Not many hotels in this price range have that luxury! Ooodles of pillows on the comfy bed. Extra towels in the bath. Nice fridge. Good coffee. We did have a problem with the door lock which was fixed promptly. The only downside is that I have never been able to try the breakfast as it is always packed - but we lived! Maybe better planning would get us there earlier when we could try it out. Other than that - GREAT value for the money. Would recommend it highly!

The room was super clean and modern and huge. Comfortable easy chair with stool and desk and huge modern TV. Extremely comfortable bed! They had a soccer tournament across the street and the hotel was loaded with kids and the pool was and hot tub full of kids. The staff were very helpful; the whole hotel was immaculate and our room so comfortable. The carpets had not even had a chance to get dirty! The bathroom was huge although the tub very narrow. It was meant for someone handicapped. I am sure. The breakfast they served would have been nicer if there had been more of a flow, food got cold waiting for the person ahead of you to toast their bread. There are much more efficient appliances out there for huge crowds. Maybe, because of the soccer tournament going on and a lot of the players and their families staying at this hotel and with the wall-to-wall kids everywhere, that is why there was a shortage. They run out of juice and coffee etc. The staff had a hard time keeping up to the demand. Because breakfast was included in the price of the room, it would have been more enjoyable if there had of been more of everything. The dining area was beautifully decorated and very clean! A really great hotel!

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly. Check in was to be at 3:00pm and there was no room ready. So we had to come back in an hour. That I was not pleased about.

My daughters, my granddaughter, and I went to Erie for a girls' weekend. The rooms were very clean and everything worked well. We enjoyed the adjustable shower head and the flat screen TV. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only objection that I had (and it was mine along) was that the duvet was too hot for my comfort. I would have preferred a sheet and a light blanket. My granddaughter, my roommate for the night, said,"Grandma, I've never stayed at a nicer hotel.

This was our first family road trip back to Erie where we grew up 40 years ago. The women stayed at the Wingate and were grateful for the large, clean and comfortable rooms. The next time we come to Erie, we will ALL be staying at the Wingate.

We enjoyed the well-appointed rooms with down comforter, wonderful mattress and lots of pillows. A flat-screen TV was also nice. the bathrooms were modern: sleek counter, ample room for toiletries and plenty of towels. Lots of mirrors in the room, even full-length. The friendly staff went out of their way to help. They also have a nice breakfast buffet.
