Our previous trip was at the actual Wyndham Hotel. The Wyndham Hotel is a 4 star hotel. This hotel was about a 3 star. We went to the Vulcan. This hotel was missing better customer service and more cleanliness.

Rooms on separate floors, brokenAC and shower, cigarette stench, being given an unrequested handicap room/refrigerator on floor, no electric outlet.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and rooms were nice. Excellent hot breakfast bar. Since we were with our soccer team and it was raining and muddy all weekend, our girls uniforms needed washing. Just our luck that they were just finishing renovating a few things and the washer/dryer wasn't working. But the staff were so good at allowing us to use the nice hotel accross the way (about ten feet walk) that we washed for free with free detergent and stuff. That is what you call good service. And our price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here next year when we come back to the Vulcan Cup Soccer tournament.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for one night on our drive home from Florida. The location of the hotel was very beautiful and the hotel itself was at one time very nice I'm sure, However, the hotel's maintenance is quite lacking. My daughter and son-in-law could not even get into their room because somehow the door had been locked from the inside (we would have thought that housekeeping would have noticed that??), the towel rack was broken in their room and the phone in our adjoining room did not work. The worst of it though (and admittedly not the fault of the hotel) was the fact that a person staying in one of the rooms across the hall had left their very smelly shoes and socks out in the hallway. Upon getting off the elevator and smelling those shoes and socks our whole family wanted to wretch! Thank goodness the doors to our rooms acted as buffers. When we arrived to the hotel it was a bit late, but my granddaughter still wanted to swim so my son-in-law took her down to the pool. Several of the lights were broken around the pool area, so lighting was poor, and the pool was very cold, so needless to say, they didn't swim for long. I have to say that the highlight of the experience was the Italian restaurant right next door, excellent!!

Except for the no clocks and put in smoking room it was OK. Room was clean except curtains. Bath was very nice and chairs in room was nice. It had a very nice breakfast buffet

Good breakfast, good Hi-speed Internet. Out of the way location, hard to get to from street. Nice hotel off of highway 280. Very comfortable, clean room, nice bedding, secure andeasy entrance and exit from hotel, but sort of difficult to get to. Small signs pointing to entrance. Hotel on top of a hill that is not marked well.

When we booked the hotel through Orbitz, the website stated this was a pet friendly hotel. It was not. The front desk informed us that they have never been a pet friendly hotel and if we had to keep the pet there then a $200 deposit was to be made. I understand the deposit but I am disappointed with the information given by Orbitz as something it is not. I specifically narrowed down my choices by the option box provided by the website.

Friendly staff. Spa was not working. From the time I arrived the experience was great. The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean and actually looked inviting. I enjoyed my experience!

Beds are comfortable. Need to walk through a disgusting smoking area to reach the elevators from the lobby and vice versa. This hotel needs major renovation. Two lights in my room didn't work, the coffee maker was broken, the tub was chipped in many places, and the AC was Motel 6 quality.

The bed was amazingly comfortable! Nothing! Very pleasant experience. Nice large room with extremely comfortable bed. Warm items on continental breakfast a nice touch, including waffle maker!

Clean. The indoor pool claim was very misleading, it is a hot tub. There is no indoor pool like they state online. It is a hot tub. That was very disappointing being that is was winter time and the pool outside was closed. Otherwise I was happy with the stay. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good.
