I may be biased in that we got married here in May. Everything was perfect. The grounds are lovely and the room was exceptional. All our guests commented on what a lovely location. What makes this place rise above others? The staff could not have been more polite and helpful. The food in the new Labyrinth Restaurant was absolutely out of this world. A Gem in the Somerset Countryside.

Great for the airportGreat place to overnight before an early flight. Basic breakfast was available when I wanted, at 4:30am. The car was safely stored for a few days. Courtesy minibus was quick and excellent, with friendly drivers. Great package!

Very friendly & helpful staff (who were also very helpful posting back something I had left in the room). Food was not great - although I ate from the bar menu so it is perhaps better in the restaurant?

Great place to stay if catching an early flight - but breakfast arrangements uncertain and staff's ability doesn't tend to match their evident willingness and intentions

Late night at Winford Manor What can I say, a real treat to stay here. Being a very frequent business traveller, I see many standards across Europe, with variying degrees of service level but Winford topped the lot.Although I was a late arrival, the staff were extremely friendly (even the dog that greets you at the door !!) & couldn't be more helpful. Dinner (home made burger) was one of hte best I've ever eaten & presented beautifully. Back to the room & a lovely touch with the surprise teddy bear option !! Great wet room shower & breakfast is ready before I left for the 6am flight out of Bristol, a real help for the business travellerOverall, I can't rate this delightful hotel enough but as many of the other reviewers have said, watch out for the tight road leading up to the hotel, but it's worth it when you get thereGreat service

We stayed here for valentines evening and my wife and I couldn't fault the place in anyway.Very clean and tidy, staff couldn't do enough for us. Room although slightly on the small side was excellent and had everything we needed.Lovely setting and gardens.I would thoroughly recommend it!!!

Friendly and efficient, good for overnight and ideal as an airport stopover. Very quiet and peaceful, a bit far from Bristol or Bath for a shopping base but would be good as a summer base for the area.

I am only too sorry that it was quite a distance from the offices that I was visiting. I am tempted to use this hotel again even though I have an extra hour to travel to my place of work. The hotel is set in its own grounds which was a true escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy working day. The hotel staff were so accommodating and the food was excellent.

From one direction this hotel is approached on a single track road that just keeps on getting narrower!! The hotel does eventually appear but satnavers beware. The hotels around Bristol are expensive but this one was reasonable value and not far from town. The rooms are quite new and they have big plans for the old manor in the future. The staff are first rate and very welcoming. The bar is bottles only but stocked with some excellent local brews! The food is freshly prepared typical bar meal fare but very tasty and nicely presented. Good for business travellers and I'd recommend it.

Restaurant still being refitted, so not a lot of food available

The hotel didn't have a restaurant which was a problem as I didn't have a car but they did serve excellent snack food i.e. burger and chips.

Not too easy to find - the SatNav was great! The hotel is obviously very new but there didn't seem to be too many teething problems. The staff were very helpful - I even got breakfast at 5.30 in the morning.

No restaurant available in the hotel. Snacks can be ordered and served in your room but there was not a lot of choice and the end result was quite disappointing. Breakfast however was self-service and very good.

Clean, Tidy, Freshly decorated, Very friendly staff. All together very good, however, as a lone female guest I would have prefered not to be in a ground floor room with my door directly faced onto the open court, especally as there was a table and chairs outside my window for use by other guests.

the bedroom was tiny like a dorm room for a student. the desk was inadequate for laptop use. having the bedroom at the front meant that the noise of people dragging their bags was heard from 5am. the website made the hotel out to be a manor house. it forgets to tell you that the rooms are smaller than any chain such as express inn and yet more expensive. the compromising of space for the guest is very poor. staff great.

Stupidly expensive sandwitch but otherwise fine. Leave your car, airport transfer service worked well.

Excellent location for Bristol Airport with the complimentary breakfast and taxi service. When I stayed the hotel had been opened just 1 month and there were a couple of teething problems. i.e. television didn't work in the room and I couldn't set the telephone alarm. However sure that will be sorted soon and would definitely stay there again. Lovely situation and beautifully furnished.

Fantastic Hotel ! Less than 5 minutes from the Airport, in a nice and peaceful environment. Hotel room was very clean and nice, and complimentry Internet Access was a bonus. TV Services could be improved.. Would certainly recommend to everyone.

The hotel was not very easy to find, and taxis are not very accesible from there. But its a great place in the country side, maybe you will need to publicise yourself more so that taxi drivers would know where you are.The food was ok, of course bearing in mind that the restarant is not yet working, it was not bad.
