Very good place to stay in Alexandria. I like it, and so do my family

An OK place if you don't mind the proximity of the traffic. In the room with the view on the sea you will hear the car's horn all night so don't forget your ear plugs. Be sure to check the bill carefully when you leave, I found some unexpected expenses.

Maybe it is not fair to comment, as our stay was strongly influenced by bad weather, but.. The positive first: Most of the staff were very nice and helpful, the rooms spaceous and nicely redecorated. The location is excellent, except for traffic noise. But it was a cold stay, the wind virtually blowing through the windows, and room temperature not exceeding 16degrees during our 4 days' stay. We had to change room to the back-side, a small degree warmer and a little less traffic noise, but still too cold and with no heating system working. In addition, both the restaurant and the lounge were ice cold, and very dark at night (impossible even to read a menu). So, energy saving meant more than comfort. The water disappeared totally the morning after arrival, but came back after a late breakfast. The breakfast was quite OK, but for other meals well below standard. The hotel is certainly no 4 star hotel, but probably better in the spring than in the winter.

Old-world hotel situated on the Corniche. The rooms are luxurious with high ceilings and old-world trimmings. Breakfast is 5 star. We were very pleased that we chose this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Nice and friendly people, charming old times classic atmosphere. Situated in the best central place of the city, in harmony with the real touch of the Mediteranean smell of Egypt.
