Fabulous Find!I have stayed in many of the top hotels throughout Europe, the UK and Ireland on business trips and found them rather sterile so I was delighted with the authentic Victorian charm of the Windsor. The location was perfect-a short stroll into town, the cooked breakfast second to none and the room a delight (the Princess Room with 4 poster bed). I would recommend it highly.

4 star room-1 start bathroomExcellent large, recently refurbished, basement room but unfortunately the bathroom was poor, very small. Why did they not use some of the bedroom space to make the bathroom bigger and provide a decent shower?

A quiet hotel a short walk to the city centre. Large bedroom with all amenities. Attentive staff.The hotel made every effort to make us welcome. No car park but hotel provides car parking permit for street parking if you can find a space.

Absolutely perfect in every way, except that breakfast is continental only. When breakfast's included, you expect a cooked breakfast, but they charge extra for it here.

Staying at The Windsor (Bath)We booked for two nights but we were having such a lovely time that we booked for an extra evening and if they hadn't have been fully booked I am sure we would have made it 4 nights.The Windsor is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location.We stayed in The Princess room which has a four poster bed that was exceptionaly comfortable.The room is situated at the front of the hotel and has a great veiw over Great Pultney street and fun for people watching.I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Bath.

Spur of the moment!Booked late in the day. Arrived late in the evening. Parking difficult. Reception excellent. Room very nice and we decorated. Must pay attention to the security arrangements for entering the hotel at night...no problems though.WiFi available. Very helpful.Continental breakfast, varied selection. Very good.

The whole hotel experience was fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and even booked a table at a restaurant that evening for us. I can't compliment them enough.

Pleasant StayThe people at the hotel were extremely pleasant and warming. The room was slightly small and the 4 poster bed had a matress that was slightly the wrong size to fit properly between the posts but the room was clean and quaint. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great Hotel with charactergreat to get away from corporate plastic hotels that are the norm.Beautiful location, great service and wonderful four poster bed.Note that cooked breakfast not included in Laterooms.com price . This will cost an extra £6 pp

Little Gem of a hotel!I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, but this great little hotel/guest house and freindly staff deserve a special mention. Small but well equipped rooms - excellent matresses ( worth knowing for all back sufferers!).

Superb small hotel in a fabulous location for a City break to Bath. Service first class and breakfast one the best I have ever experienced. Highly recommended and I intend to return.

Re: the value for money question - I don't think I would have wanted to pay the correct amount for the room - the late rooms figure was much better than that quoted by the Windsor itself.
