By a few touch-ups I am specifically referring to some torn and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom...very minor. Room had a wetbar, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, real glasses, plates and utensils. Free hot breakfast buffet included with room: scrambled eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy, waffles, hash, bacon, sausage, fruit, and muffins and sweet rolls, plus cold cereal. Buffet seating area was large and there was an outside garden seating area also. Two outdoor pools (one 'on' the beach with a small bar and food service) plus an indoor. Rooms with balconies and some with a screened porch; many types of rooms. A large complex of buildings with 3 right on the beach; my room was on the top floor directly across the street from the beach, with a small balcony with ocean view. Family accomodating (play and barbeque areas), very friendly staff, exceptionally clean rooms, and quiet (at least the night I stayed). Loved it!

I was very pleased with the seclusion of this hotel, it was very clean and close to the beach. I have no complaints with this hotel at all. This was my first time traveling alone, and I have to say that I was very pleased with everything about my trip. Priceline helped me to get the best deal ever, and the Winds met every expectation that I had about my trip. Thanks to all of you, thank you.

Our suite was a 2 bedroom and was roomy enough for the 4 of us. It was clean, hot breakfast right across the street was nice, beach was within 2 minutes' walk. Pools were nice. AAA discount was helpful. Only real complaints the fridge was not very efficient, and there was only one a/c source, so you had to leave the bedroom doors open . We didn't use the kitchen so I can't rate the equipment or appliances. Near good restaurants in Calabash and 45 min from Myrtle.
