The location is great. The staff are very friendly. I would stay away from the rooms with views toward the front of the hotel. They are too noisy (and the staff recognizes it, my mom really wanted a view of the street). The breakfast is very nice. The same every morning but beats having to run out and find something to eat when the hotel serves the same thing you get at a cafe.

It had internet. Tiny rooms. For affordable, it wasn't terrible. Definitely not 3 stars though, might be a one and a half. Tiny rooms, small beds. Good thingI didn't stay in the room for too long.

Plus: Large room and bathroom. Wireless Internet connection only in the lobby and really slow, so that's a minus. Would be good to have internet connection in the rooms.

We chose the Wilton based on previous guest comments referring to the helpful staff. We were not disappointed. The hotel is excellent value for money, but it is the staff who place it above others.

Excellent Location, Good Breaksfast, friendly staff. Very close to commercial avenues and Malls in Buenos Aires Downtown; to Recoleta's neighbornhood, walking distance from the Theaters area (Corrientes Ave). Friendly staff decided to help you in any matter (tours, taxis, shows). And, don't worry about the breakfast, it's very good.

I was a first time visitor to Buenos Aires and was visiting my daughter who was doing a semester abroad. So I had my days to myself and went to clubs and restaurants in the evening with her. Buenos Aires is a big and modern city with plenty of things to do, particularly on the weekends when the street fairs in Recoleta or Boca neighborhoods are in full swing. I would compare Buenos Aires to a city like Milan...very urban, lots of night life, but not much in the way of culture. For that, you have to go outside of the city, and that requires an overnight trip that I didn't have time for. The Hotel Wilton is perfectly situated for just about everything you want to do in the city. I walked to Recoleta and to other neighborhoods, but getting to Boca and Plaza de Mayo required a taxi. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the rooms were spacious by European standards, the TV had many English language stations (with Spanish subtitles), the room had U.S.-compatible electricity plugs, and the breakfast was functional (a typical European style breakfast). My room had WIFI, but many of the rooms do not. The hotel does have two computers available in the lobby along with WIFI. The first room I had did not have WIFI, but the staff moved me when I asked for it. For the price, location and service, I don't think the Wilton can be beat. I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to anyone. I travel internationally quite a bit and the Wilton was easily one of the best deals I've ever had.

A little bit noisy if you are in a room facing Callao street.

Great location. Within walking distance to just about everywhere. If not, it's only a short taxi ride away. Friendly staff and bellboys. Nice breakfast buffet from 6 to 11am. Really need to clean carpets in room. Excellent maid service. Would highly recommend. Have stay with them 7 times in the last couple of years.

From the moment of our arrival we were welcomed and tended to with the most caring attention. Great breakfasts, included. Be sure to ask for * at the front desk, who arranged all of our sightseeing expeditions, and who wears a nonstop smile. Bravissimo!

The accommodations for the Wilton Hotel were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The Wilton Hotel is located in the Recoleta district and is within walking distance of the Recoleta Cemetery, which is a tourist favorite. The neighborhood is upscale and the hotel is located near shopping and many restaurants.

The Wilton is in a very busy location on the corner of Santa Fe and Callao -- lots of shopping nearby, and not to far to Recoleta. Noise was not an issue for us, as our room was on the back side of the hotel. Breakfast is plentiful, and there's a friendly little bar next door for wine or beer and sandwiches. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to calling for a taxi. The one issue we had was when ordering a vodka martini in the hotel lounge. We got on shot of vodka and one shot of Martini & Rossi dry vermouth. We mixed it ourselves and went out for the next drink.

I'm a walker and a shopper, and this hotel is near enough to EVERYTHING of interest during the day -- historical sites, museums, parks, monuments, churches, cemeteries, government buildings. Friendly and attentive staff, good breakfast, help with cars and restaurant and show recommendations and reservations. Stayed 8 days and found it very consistent. Definitely will return.
