We weren't looking for anything fancy we justed needed a nice place to sleep. The only time we spent at the hotel was to sleep.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Neighborhood was not great.

Staff can be not very friendly at times but it is a good hotel overall to sleep quietly after a busy day. WiFi Internet works really well 24/7. Wilshire/Normandie Metro Station is just across the street with many inexpensive restaurants around. My room was always tidy and bathroom was spacious and clean. Super Shuttle provides service if needed. I would return to this hotel if the price is right.

If you just want a safe location and a clean room, on a budget, and not bothered about breakfast, or any extras just for a sleep over whilst you venture out, then this is the place. Just a drive away from all locations. Room is clean and ok, could do with updating but hey, for a few nights and for the money it great. The only bad thing about this place was that they charge you $$ per night for parking + tips to the valet services.

Nice hotel with good staff. However parking is expensive and so is food and the hours to access food are very limited especially on weekends.

Great manager and front desk staff. Had to serve ourselves in the restaurant. It was fine for one night. Front desk staff was very accommodating. Restaurant staff absent, had to wait on ourselves! Room was clean. Parking for $20 seemed high. Lovely lobby.

Hotel staff were very helpful, especially Concierge, they gave us driving directions and were most helpful in telling us about the public transport.

The lobby is very nice, but the rooms/hallways are very old and not very clean. I was told by someone at UCLA that it recently was remodeled; perhaps some of the floors have been, but not the fifth floor. The coffee shop/restaurant is not open late in the afternoon/evening and room service ends at 11 AM. The bar however serves food in to the evening, but it was barely edible. I only stayed one night - 8/20/08 - and paid double since it was a last minute reservation.

My family came to visit me from Texas. We got to the hotel to discover that they charge you $20/night for valet service which is the only way to get parking. Despite the high price, it was very convenient and the valet were available 24/7. The hotel didn't have any rooms with double beds that were also handicap accessible. They only had handicap rooms with 1 king size bed, which was not going to work for my grandparents and handicap uncle. Other than that, we LOVED the location and view of Wilshire Blvd. There were many eating out choices and the subway is across the street! The rooms were very clean and cozy. The swimming pool area looked lovely. The elevators were amazingly fast, and the overall look of the hotel was very inviting and classy. I would definitely have my family stay there again because the location is central to many places in LA and it's close to my apartment.

The hotel was nice overall. The whole floor smelled like smoking. It smelled awefu. We had theAC on, just to clear out the smell.

Good for Metro access, but not much else in immediate vicinity. Staff sometimes helpful and interested other times not.

We traveled all over the city of L.A. and the hotel was in a great location to do that

The lobby was thee nicest area of the hotel. Other than the lobby, the hotel was moderate. The hotel only has valet parking, the lobby was thee nicest part of the hotel, the rooms were very hot (the air worked only at a minimal level) the hotel/halls were humid, the rooms were moderate.

Right across the road from a Metro stations and also Metro and Rapid Transit buses. $55 by taxi from airport. Breakfast buffet just OK. Don't take a room facing the street as these can be affected by noise (discos etc) at night.

Staff was great, older hotel but good value, good location too.

Overall good experience, unfortunately, the parking situation left alot to be desired. THere was no onsite parking except for the valet which was $20 per car even for hotel guests. The neighborhood was kind of buisy, so obviously finding parking on the street was nearly impossible, on one occasion we had to park nearly a mile away and walk back to the hotel. We also had an extra guest (whom the hotel was aware of), and when we called the front to have a rollaway cot sent up, they informed us that they could not accomodate that request. The "gym" was also a joke (a couple treadmills and a set of handweights), and the restaurant closes early on sunday so we had to go offsite for breakfast (luckily there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance). On the plus side, the staff was very helpful, the lounge was a cool place to sit and have a drink, and the place was very clean overall.

Great location across the street of a Metro station. Old, shady interior; bathtub clogged without being fixed during stay. Unfortunately the only good thing is its location, just across the street of a Metro station. The bathtub in my room was clogged without being fixed after I asked the front desk to send someone to take a look at it.

This hotel is just OLDER. It is very outdated in comparison to the pictures given for the profile of the hotel. Also, it is located in Koreantown. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is located on Wilshire Blvd. If you are not from LA, Wilshire is a great street to stay on because it runs through Downtown, Beverly Hills, and it will even take you to the beach.

There wasn't a Restraunt that was open after 2:00 PM! ONLY Room service which is very unpractible. Of course being here on Orbitz everything is paid in advance, upon check-in they request to copy your credit card, stating no charges will be made. Minutes later a 96.00 charge was made, perhaps a refund will be made? Other than this, it was ok well worth what I paid on Orbitz. + the 96.00
