We were going to a concert at American Music Theatre in Lancaster. Willow Valley is only about 10 to 15 mina away. I was familiar with the area so I new the back way to the theatre and by-passed most of the traffic on Rt30. We came out at the light on Rt 896 which is seconds from the theatre.

The room was nice but the restaurant was extremely overpriced. The service was very bad each time I ate at their restaurant. I don't know if it was because I traveled alone, but no one would wait on me. I checked out early and nobody asked if their was a problem with my stay at their hotel, it seemed that becayse their money was guaranteed because I booked with an online travel company that they didn't care about my stay. The directions on their site bring you through downtown Lancaster and you must pay close attention because you must turn several times to stay on the same road. I would not stay here again just because of the difficulty of getting to the hotel.

We enjoyed 4 nights at Willow Valley. Our room was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Wait staff in the restaurant were very friendly and polite. Our little grandson really enjoyed the indoor water park. Very nice addition from our last stay there some years ago. The grounds are very well maintained and there are nice paths to take a walk and enjoy the outdoor duck pond. If you stay, try the creme donuts in the bakery. Some of the best made.

This hotel is very family friendly it is clean has an outdoor and indoor pool as well as an indoor water park for kids. They have a resturaunt that has a wonderful breakfast and dinner buffet where kids under 12 can eat free. I have been staying at this hotel for over 25 years when I visit Lancaster.

The Willow Valley Resort & Conference Center was by far one of the best places I've been to and would most definitely go back in the future. Our room was incredibly clean and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. It was the best sleep I have ever had. The resort was spotless, the grounds had a playground, a duck pond, a chapel and much more. There was a restaurant and bakery on the premises, our experience with them were very satisfying. There are 3 pools (indoor & out) and one of them was child friendly; a slide, sprinkler, etc. Dutchwonderland is about a 15 minute drive, Amish Country about 20 minutes and Hershey Park is about a hour. Again we were very satisfied with our stay at the Willow Valley Resort and highly recommend it to all our friends!

Very clean and comfortable. The kids had a great time in the 4 pools. Well kept grounds, impressive atrium in the lobby. A bit of a wait for check-in, but there were a ton of people also checking in that day. Restaurant food and service were good. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is very nice and clean however, if you enjoy a cocktail, you have the wrong place. We booked this room along with 11 families for a soccer tournament and had assumed that there was a lounge.

We stayed for 2 nights. Our section of the facility was being remodeled, but since were were gone all day, we barely noticed. Our room had been recently completed and was very nice. The weather was not very agreeable, so, in the evening, we used the indoor pools and rec rooms. I found them to be very clean, and the only issue I noted was that the pool area was full of wet hotel towels by 9 pm. Housekeeping could have picked up occassionally. Other than that, it was a great stay, and I would definitely go back.

We were surprised how nice the hotel was considering the low price. The building itself was very well maintained, the room clean and spotless. The grounds around the building were beautiful with lots of flowers and flowering trees and green green grass. My only (small) complaint was the heater in the room was very noisy and kept going on and off all night long. I will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here with our three small children. The room was nice, although the employees were unhelpful and could not figure out how to get the DVD in the room to work. The shower never stayed the same temperature. The pools were overcrowded and chaotic, even in the off season. The hotel advertised a bus tour of Amish country, but it was only on the weekends. The facilities are nice--especially the workout room, but be prepared for overcrowding, very slow elevators, and being charged exhorbitant prices for any extra hotel-run kids' activities. We would not stay here again.

We were so thrilled with our stay at Willow Valley Resorts. We took our daughter and grandson for a weekend getaway. We had a wonderful time and the room was so comfortable. Wow and the pools and swim park are wonderful. The food was so good. Wow the bakery has so many delicious treats. The game room and work out areas are so much fun. We are looking forward to taking our other grandchildren for a weekend.

My family has stayed at Willow Valley twice and I would recommend it for families with young children. They played in the pool for hours. I would bring goggles for the kids because there is alot of chlorine in the pool. There are different activities for the kids all day. The meal plan worked out great, especially for picky eaters. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. All in all it's a great get away.

When we arrived we were assigned adjoining rooms in the older area and it was disappointing. I explained to the registration desk that if at all possible we'd like to change our rooms to the main building, which is where I thought we were going to be. They had no problem trying to accomodate us, and after a short while we had two new rooms. The pools were great for our family and the food very good. Our vacation turned out to be a good experience at Willow Valley Resort.
