we went up with another couple for a beer/chili/music fest and had a great time. the location is awesome. rooms are way out dated but not dirty. for the price it was perfect. late check out, pool, no hassles. bed not comfy but fine for one night.

Pool was warm and hot tub was nice. No vending and room were just ok, beds were not so good. Overall it was ok, restaurant was not open on site and no vending areas. Beds were not so great and the room could be updated a little.

The lobby was closed for the summer and you had to check in at the Silver Tree approx 100 yards away. Very pleasant staff. Room was clean and neat. No A/C, but a fan was provided and the room was cool throughout the day. The pool was pleasant the hot tub under repairs but again you could go to the Silver Tree and use either of the two hot tubs. Parking is ample but all UP HILL very steep. Restaurant was closed at Wildwood for the summer but there were numerous eating establishments in the Mall at Snowmass which was less that 20 yards away. No room service but takeout availabe at Silver Tree. Lovely location, free music on the hill in the evenings, and lots of things to do in Snowmass. I would recommend staying here and plan to come back in the winter for ski season.

This hotel was within walking distance to the slopes, the village and just across the street and down a little from the Silvertree hotel. At the village there were various shuttles available. The rooms to this hotel were small, standard budget hotel rooms (doors on the outside), but I did notice that the bed linens (and the beds, I think) were really nice, definitely higher quality. That must be because the hotel is associated with the Silvertree Hotel. I was there with 2 friends and all we did in the room was change and sleep. That made it good for us, a decent room in a good location for a budget price. If I was going to hang it in the room more, I wouldn't recommend it, but definitely recommend it for the price and location, if you aren't going to be lounging in the room. Any contact with staff, dining, etc... was through the Silvertree hotel, not much staff at the hotel itself except housekeeping. There was a coffeemaker and a small refrigerator in the room and we were able to request a microwave be brought to the room to heat up our leftovers. Any requests we had were responded to right away (extra towels, etc...)

Very friendly staff, nice fireplace in lobby, good breakfast. Intermediate hotel, with no hallways, the rooms are all located outside. We had a cold week so the way the rooms had been cold and sometimes covered with snow. The staff was very friendly and helped whenever it was necessary. The rooms had been kept clean. The breakfast was complimentary and just the right basis for a long ski day.

Very poor condition - at least we did not see bugs. Dirty, bad crowd, fan for a/c - find another place for *

The Wildwood Lodge was very convenient for what we needed that weekend. The room however was very musty and stuffy. I feel the price of the hotel needs to be more closely related to the actual accomodations.

This property appears to be pretty low quality motel property at Snow Mass Village one of the most expensive places to ski in north america. The proximity is great, but the property is not very nice. It is so slow in the summer when we stayed, which you would expect, but the checkin was at the high end hotel next door and the parking was not very good and very inconvienient, so the checkin process was confusing and inconvienent. It is in the upper village however, and is very convienient, and the parices are pretty reasonable for the summer. I can only imagine how over priced it is during peak ski season. where you could walk about 50 yards to the first lift.

The Wildwood in Snowmass was very comfortable and a great value for the price. This is not a 5 star hotel but had a beautiful view of the valley. The staff was very accomodating and when we had problems getting the hot tub jets going a young man was right there helping until he knew that we were satisfied that the jets would stay on.... and all of this with a smile! We were literally across ther street from a mini mall and so had a variety of choices for meals and shopping. There was live music, an excellent band, in the mall's courtyard area that played for free! The area has the best bus shuttle system that will take you all of the way to Glenwood SPrings and the other direction to Aspen, which made going out at night hassle free! During the day there are so many things to do from horseback riding, hiking the Maroon Bells (or many trails just around the hotel), swimming, biking, shopping or just having brunch on a patio and taking in the breathtaking views. In the winter there is of course the skiing, making the location of this hotel ideal as it is across the street from the chair lift! I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice hotel with so many great amenities at such a reasonable price in this high dollar location.
