The main room looked very nice, then I stepped into the bathroom. There was mold in the grout of the shower/tub unit and missing caulk. The fixtures needed to be replaced years ago. There was no exhaust fan, so every shower was a steam bath for all. One night a smoke alarm went off in the room next us ours. I had to call 3 times before, the front clerk finally had a maintenance man come and check it out. This took about 30 minutes, in the mean time no one else came to see what the alarm was about, she kept telling me she had reset the alarm and it should go off soon. No one came to see if there actually was smoke or not!! They were remodeling, but we sure didn't get a remodeled room or wing.

Changed bed detail and very poor breakfast. Larger old motel, has been remodeled. Said they were full but only 10 cars overnight in parking lot. Change my bed desire from two queens to one king. Reason was given as they were full and all that was left.

e chose this because of th pet freindly and it was clean, easy in and close to all types of resturants.

Convenient, clean and quiet. Lack of staff experience.

Indoor pool was a plus, it was clean and nicely maintained. Staff was not very friendly at all, especially in the restaurant. Check in was confusing. The girl at the desk didn't seem to expect us, then gave us a non-poolside room after we had reserved a pool-side, but we were able to get that switched fairly easily. I don't recommend the food nor the service in the restaurant. I would stay at this hotel again, but eat elsewhere.

This hotel was very comfortable. The staff was more than accomidating. I was treated very well. For a small, family-owned motel, the Wilderness Inn was more than I expected. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Clean bathroom, friendly staff, stuffed bear, good food. No pictures on the walls in the room and only one chair.

Warm, friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was very limited.I have had better at lower cost motels. The hotel was very friendly and made you feel at home. The breakfast buffet was very limited it only offered 1 meat choice, scrambled eggs and hash browns. Coffee or tea only I have had more choices on a continental breakfast then this hot breakfast offered. I would stay here again, I would just go else where for breakfast.

Restaurant was very good. Service was excellent. Room was supposed to be pool view, but was not. This hotel has both good and bad features. They are going through a remodeling process but it appears that they put most people in the older rooms. The remote control did not work and they could not find a replacement. There was no coffee pot with the coffee maker. The bathroom vent was covered in dirt and they provided a single bar of soap for a two day stay.

The Sunday brunch was good - $5 coupon with home, too! Renovations were still taking place so parts of hotel were messy. We liked the lodge style of the rooms. Beds were comfortable, bedding was nice. Some areas needed attention - hair dryer fell off the wall. Remodeling is still taking place in the hotel so these matters will probably be addressed.

They provided two $5.00 off meal coupons per day. The hotel had no star rating but was much better and provided a lot more amenities than a 1 star. Many clientele left their room doors open while lying in bed and hung around the entrances smoking. This hotel worked well for us in a pinch. It was 30 miles from our event but all other hotels were booked. It offered more than a no-star hotel, like an indoor pool, restaurant, etc. However, people hung out around the rear entrance a lot smoking and didn't feel comfortable with my wife and daughters going to the car alone.

The room was large the beds were really comfortable. Ice machine to far from room, Bed was to high to get on. It was fresh, neat clean, it had a refrigerator, hair dryer, but the best was the bed so comfortable.

Indoor pool, flat screen TV's in rooms. Family friendly with great facilities and a fine restaurant.

The Sunday breakfast buffet was excellent and affordable with discount coupons provided if you stayed at hotel. The pool area was hot when visiting, & not swimming. The hotel was very good; we have a family reunion every year in Fremont. We are planning on using the Hotel again next year and hope to get organized to have all families coming in for reunion to stay here. It would be an excellent fit for our needs.

The food there was amazing. It was by a busy street, but you could not here it in the room. This hotel is the best one I have stayed in for a while. With the great prices and having a place to eat right there, no hassle of having to find somewhere to eat, I would tell everyone about how great this place is.

Liked how clean it was. Water not hot enough in bathroom. I think it was a very nice hotel to stay in; water in bathroom could have been a little hotter but was good enough for the shower. Will be traveling to Fremont again, will stay their in the future.

Extremely comfortable beds - supportive but soft. There was not a microwave in room. Much better than I had expected for the price. the hotel was decorated wonderfully in outdoors/wildlife theme. Beds were perfectly comfortable, with very soft down comforters. Plenty of storage areas in room. Restaurant on site was great. Easy to get to, a very comfortable place to spend a week or more.

Location was very convenient for all our needs. People also knew where we were staying. Check of equipment in room was not ongoing. Missing container to make coffee, light bulbs that needed to be replaced. It was clean. Housekeeping was taken care of immediately, rooms cleaned and linens replaced as soon as we left for breakfast. The coffee shop left a little to be desired. Prices throughout were acceptable. We ate at other restaurants all of the people were very friendly and helpful. They were nice people. We will probably stay there next fall when we visit Fremont again.

Location. Smoke smell throughout, inedible food, dirty. Never again.

Comfortable beds. Water did not get hot enough. The hotel was nice but the water in the shower was not hot enough.
