Nice location, easy to get on and off highway. Noisy air conditioning unit right outside our room. Overall was an average place to stay 1 night.

Everything was excellent;I was very impressed. I was impressed with everything. Breakfast was a surprise, the best I've ever had at any hotel. This was the best hotel stay I've ever had anywhere.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Very clean and spacious. Pleasantly surprised with accomodations. Rooms are up to date. One even had a LCD TV. Breakfast was great. Only negative one of four televisions missing remote control.

I liked the location, it is only a couple blocks from downtown. There is a McDonald's, Wendy's, and Spangles(which I've never had before but they make a mean Sourdough Sausage Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich). Right on the freeway. Drive a few blocks to get into Old Town where there is a wide selection of bars/restaurants to choose from. Besides either not having the option of a non-smoking room or me missing that option, and the internet not working, it was a good stay. I would stay again, though I might try somewhere else first just to compare. Pop machines don't take dollar bills, but you can put a dollar into the Candy/Chip Vending Machine on 2nd floor and hit coin return to get quarters.

The breakfast is wonderful. It's the main reason our grandson likes it. The small couch in the room needs to be updated. A pullout would be helpful. We visit Wichita several times a year to spend time with our grandsons. Each time we have chosen the Wichita Suites Hotel for a night's stay with our oldest grandchild because heloves the breakfast. Along with the great rates and the no-smoking environment, it is always our first choice. In additon, the front staff has always been curtious and professional on our many stays.

The desk attendant couldn't understand that we had prepaid for our room online and ended up double-billing us. The room was very large, but incredibly outdated with a teal and green color scheme and old yellowish fixtures. Good free breakfast though. The price wasn't bad for a suite, but you can do better in a city filled with relatively inexpensive hotels.

We stayed there for one night. The room was very clean and quite. It's also a good size for two people. The king size bed was very comfortable. Overall very good experience.

The room was very large and the breakfast was really good and free. It is a little out dated and because of construction it could have been more accessable. We had a very plesent stay the room was very clean and very large it had a full fridge and a microwave and with small children that is always a good thing to have we will definitly stay there again.

Me and my Husband stayed there the weekend and did not want to leave it is a very nice Hotel for the money. The only problem we had was the bed its was not comfortable its just not being in your own bed, other than that we are going to stay there as often as we can.

We have stayed in this hotel twice. Both were quick overnight trips for our child's competitions. The rooms were very clean on both trips, and the staff was very helpful. There are several places to eat nearby, if you have a car. The first time we stayed at this hotel, it was a quiet stay. That's why we went back. Unfortunately, on the second trip, we were located on a different side of the hotel. Trains ran all night, and I mean ALL night. We almost left in the middle of the night it got so bad. I would definitely recommend this hotel, but only if they can guarantee you on are on the trainless side of the building.

3 Free afternoon cocktails per person, Whopping big free breakfast. No adverse comments. The hotel exterior and interior appearance was instantly appealing and not overcrowded, staff friendly, courteous and helpful. Just a very satisfying two day stay and well worth the money.Conveyed this feeling to the staff and manager at checkout.

We've stayed here several times when visiting family. The location is excellent and still fairly easy to get to. There's an excellent restaurant and a good bar/grill on the same parking lot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is a bonus, but the food is just ok--picky eaters won't like it. The rooms are outdated now and a little shabby (I've stayed here five to six times in the last fifteen years). I will stay here again if they do some renovation, otherwise I will probably stay at a newer property next time in town. HOWEVER if you don't have to spend a lot of time in the room, the value is as good as any other property and the rooms are bigger than other hotels of comperable rate.

Room was clean. Hotel was clean. Sauna was great! THe fitness room was also great with lots of nice equipment and a new flatscreen TV. The room was pretty small but not uncomfortable. For some reason there was no ventilation for the bathroom so when someone takes a shower it steams up the whole room. Please do not go to the restauraunt. The food was OK but the service was terrible. If you like getting all of your food at the same time, this is not the restauraunt for you. We had a party of four and the waiter slowly brought us our food one at a time for about an hour total. It was like the cook could not multitask and was only making one persons food at a time. Overall, I would probably stay here again as it is nice and less expensive than other hotels in the area.

Never been disappointed after staying here for over 5 years. Breakfast is always hot and with plenty of choices.

The Holiday Hotel and Suites was a very enjoyable place to stay. Although the room was a bit on the small side it was very clean. My check in was fast and easy, and the staff that I encountered was very helpful. Access to the hotel was easy to find use, making driving in and out less of a hassle.

I generally expect a clean hotel with continental breakfast and normal-sized beds. I'm not a big person, but my feet were hanging over the foot of the bed. My husband's legs from the knees down were hanging over the edge. And . . . we had no electricity due to storms. No alarm clock, no television, no lights to read, nothing. However, they did comp us some iced tea.

I enjoyed the proximity to Old Town and the Restaurants. The highway was right next to the hotel which made traveling around the city easy, but it could also be noisy in the room with all the traffic just outside the hotel. The sauna and the fitness center were a nice ammenity but the restaurant in the hotel was not good. Limited and ecclectic selection for lunch/dinner and the breakfast hot bar wasn't very appealing. After 2 mornings of the bar, I went to the grocery for milk and cereal which I could do since the hotel rooms have microwaves and mini fridges. As far as a place to stay for a business trip, the price was fair, the hotel was clean, the staff friendly and courteous and the ammenities took the edge off being away from home. I have stayed here twice and on my next visit, I will be returning to the Downtown Holiday Inn.
