This hotel was recommended to me because i was traveling with my 18 year old daughter. I was told it was a great place for teen agers. There were very few guests and no other teenagers. In spite of this they neglected to do our room the first day. Noone spoke or understood any English for the first two days we were there, so communication was difficult. The resturant is expensive and we were not sure where the cuisine was from, so after a few attempts at the food there we elected to go down into Uvita and Dominical for our meals. The Hotel rooms and resturant have one of the best views down the mountain and out into the Pacific. Amazing! At low tide you are looking down on the Whales Tail. However the hotel also had one of the worst driveways, washed out, gravel, vertical, on a cliff etc. We were lucky to have 4 wheel drive, and I doubt you would make it up this driveway without it. It was not the fault of Whales and Dolphins but it did not help that there is construction going on directly below them on the mountain. From 7 in the morning to 5 at night there was the constant sound of hammering on metal.
