We booked this hotel for two nights at the end of our trip as a treat- it was our honeymoon after all! We had a fantastic time. Firstly, we were upgraded to a newly renovated junior suite on the second level which had a balcony overlooking the promenade/sea. Needless to say, the room was outstanding- classy new interior and furnishings and flat screen tv, very comfy bed. No noise with windows shut. The shower did spray onto the floor though, which meant we used a lot of towels. We had a beach package, and the beach in Nice is the best! Lazing under the shade of the blue and white beach umbrellas on the hotel lounge chairs eating hot french fries is one of our highlights! The customer service from housekeeping to sales manager was excellent apart from one male staff in reception. There was a mixup with our booking, and we were told to supply 'proof' of the booking costs and the exact url address etc. This was fine except that this particular male staff was very rude and almost aggressive towards us. It was unbelievable. Of course, we still had a great time in the end, but only after we provided 'proof'.

This hotel was very helpful in everything we needed, including planning excursions around the town. Our room was recently renovated, bathroom was very nice. Only thing i didnt like about the room was lack of lighting in the main room! But I would definatly stay there again. Great customer service, and location.

Rooms are not well equipped, mixing new with old just does not work. Carpets in the main halls and corredors are rather old. Lifts are old,too. Thank you.

We stayed five nights in this classic beachfront hotel over the Labor Day weekend. Everyone we met; the bellmen, the registration desk personnel, the servers in the breakfast room, the servers in the bar, and the attendants at the beach, were all wonderful. It is very convenient to the airport. Bus 98 stops across the street on the way in, and picks you about 100 yards to the west for the 20 minute return trip. Our room, with a king sized bed, was very spacious and offered a great view of the beach. We were concerned that it might be noisy since we were on the third floor (second floor in Europe), but the heavy door to the alcony kept it pretty quiet. We will definitely return!

Lovely, friendly hotel with mixture of new and old. rooms bright and modern and communal areas still retain old charm. staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend this hotel and would return in future. Nice itself is a great place to visit.

Location is fantastic and the hotel public spaces were amazing, however, the four star rating dropped sharply once we entered our room.On one occasion I had to go to reception and ask for our bin to be emptied. The following 2 days, we were given no toiletries or toilet roll which is totally unacceptable for a so called 4 star hotel. The room was air conditioned, however, the A/C unit was an industrial freestanding unit which did nothing for the aesthetics of the room. The hotel is no way value for money and we would not recommend this to any potential guest: couple or family.

We enjoyed our stay at the Westminster very much. The room had a great view, the breakfast was excellent and the facilities and service were also very good. We wished we could have stayed longer in order to spend some relaxing time at the private beach.

The hotel has seen better days , certainly not upto a 4 star hotel . Very over priced & noisy even at the back ,they do the rubbish very early every morning & even if you have slept with the traffic this will definitely wake you up !

Only complaint: Evening meal in hotel only fair while being quite pricey. Reception staff excellent, very helpful in making tour bookings. Porter service excellent.

Staff service was excellent and charming. The room was comfortable, although a little small for two, and a very nice bathroom. The air-conditioning could be improved. Breakfast on the terrace was great.

Great hotel with a fantastic view of the Meditteranean and the Promenades des Anglais. The rooms themselves are quite small however nicely decorated. The staff was polite. I would stay here again.
