Date of Stay:

Clean and smart Very concerned that they charged me for Internet access - I had no computer and did NOT sign up!!!
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
The hotel was undergoing renovations, so the shops and sushi bar that are advertised are not in existence. The rooms were pretty nice, but a little worn. The bed was wonderful!! The hotel overall was a little worn and dusty, but under construction, so it may get better.

The rooms were very clean. The service great. Kids got a goody back at the check in. Restaurant had good breakfast. The pools are pretty small but still nice.

Clean crisp decor, waived the hated internet access fee. Bed sheet was not properly tucked in.

Great hotel-in a bit of a planned office community-spa, restaurants all within walking distance. Princeton University is only 5 miles away.
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
Location in village area. Internet cost prohibitive on daily basis. Cleanliness of rooms was marginal at best. Best bed comforts I have experienced in hotel in long time, convenient location in forestall village and close to Princeton downtown.

Hostess in the starwood breakfast lounge. Lobby renos. Excellent. Pleasant staff. Appreciate shuttle service.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean room. Pool area wasnot appealing.

Staff was very helpful and recommended a place to eat when we declined the in house restaurant. Room was too warm, and was not adjustable. It was especially warm for the large quilts on the beds.

Nice location. Nice hotel. NA. We liked the hotel. Good location. We would stay there again if in the area.
Date of Stay:

Comfortable bed, coffee in room. Poor towels, no toiletries, no coffee in lobby, poor signage - couldn't find it at first. Definitely under remodel for a reason. Halls and public areas were not up-scale. They should have had a concierge and welcome table in lobby with coffee and milk. Nice bar tender and very pleasant desk staff. The rooms were larger than the Hyatt where we usually stay and the beds were very comfortable, but it is further down the road from Princeton. Bring your own toiletries here, they don't provide much.

The staff was terrific.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It's nice - good location - clean - excellent staff. However - I would rate it a 3 star hotel.
Date of Stay:
September, 2008
The bed was nice. Pool area was unclean, outside pool closed while lithe temp was 90+. Hot tub was closed but the local inspector and was green. This was at best a 2-2.5 star facility. The building is under construction and is old and outdated. No snacks were out in the afternoon and no paper in the morning. The majority of the pool facilities were closed, the hot tub by the county inspector. I am not sure when this was a 4 star hotel but it is currently well below that mark.

Bed. Fire drill.

Price. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Not a 4 star hotel.

Westin bedding, showerhead. customer service, lobby beverages. Pool area was not well maintained (pool was not skimmed). Hallways carpets were quite dirty. Good for business travel and room was what you would expect for a Westin. However, I was surprised for price that TV was such poor quality and the pool areas were not well maintained.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
The staff. Lot under construction. The Westin is currently undergoing some changes. They are taking out the Sushi bar, which was excellent, and replacing it with something rather uninspiring. While the construction is being kept out-of-the-way it is still happening. There are excellent places to eat within short walking distance, and many more within a short drive. The rooms are clean, if not a bit Spartan for a four-star. Internet access is, of course (for a four star) and additional cost (2 and 3 stars generally do not charge extra for this service in my opinion). On the bright side, the staff at this hotel is absolutely top-notch. They are fast, efficient, friendly, and completely customer focused. I wish the airline employees I traveled with to get to the Westin at Forestall Village could experience the level of customer focus by the staff there and learn how it's supposed to be done!

Close location to Princeton. Slow service. Great location, close to Princeton, restaurants and businesses. Hotel is definitely not a 4 star - more of a 2.5 to 3 star hotel. Staff was over extended and the hotel's cleanliness was not up to standards.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Pool. Older. This hotel was adequate. It was a bit older and renovated. The room was bit musty smelling.
