I was very disappointed with the quality and service of this hotel. For a hotel of this caliber I expected MUCH better: -We waited almost 4 hours to get our room. We had been told when I made reservations that we would likely be able to get a room early even though check in officially starts at 3pm. We arrived at noon and since our room wasn't ready we went out for lunch. When we got back at 2:30pm our room was still not ready. 3pm, 3:30, 4pm, finally at almost 4:30pm we got our room. The desk clerk offered nothing for our inconvenience (not even an apology) . I asked if she could at least comp my internet access for my time at the hotel ( per day), and the clerk asked me why I expected this to be comped. After I told her how long we had been waiting she informed me that I should have not arrived until at least 3pm. - The building, and individual guest rooms could use some serious renovation. The carpets were worn, stained and in poor condition with burn marks and holes. The furniture was cracked and chipped and looked like someone had picked them up at a garage sale and painted them black. The room was small and the bathroom was more like a small walk in closet. -Other than an inexpensive round of deserts at the Sun Dial restaurant, we didn't bother to eat on the property. The prices were ridiculous - even for hotel food. This was a huge disappointment and I will avoid staying at a Westin hotel in the future. I would recommend booking at the Marriot Marquis instead. It's only about 2 blocks away and is ten times nicer than the Westin

Nice hotel but showing signs of its age. I have stayed at the hotel many times, and the staff was great. The downside was the room was not spotless and the parking cost was outrageous. I probably will stay at the hotel again, mainly because of the location.

This used to be one of the nice hotels of Atlanta. Although the General Manager worked to make things better and right. It just did not completely overcome the poor treatment and the awful room I was placed in at first. Then the night manager named Asa, was really rude and awful.

Tall and nice downtown hotel - only negative was the price for their parking facilities, so use the garage that is across from the hotel instead if you want to save money.

No where was it mentioned that guest parking was not free. I was hit with a 23 a night charge for parking after I had already checked in. The front desk was nice enough to credit my room for the parking since it wasn't mentioned anywhere. The sheets were scratchy and hot. We had to turn the AC down to 64 just to be comfortable. We weren't even given the room we had booked. We booked a king and got a queen. The breakfast rates were insane, 6 for a glass of milk?! We checked out a night early just so we didn't have to stay another sleepless night. The front desk tried to give us free breakfast and "upgrade" our room but this was an in-town getaway that seemed more like throwing money down the drain than relaxing. Overall, I felt I was overcharged for everything and thought I was going to be nickeled and dimed to death.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. Everything you would expect from a Westin. However, the parking garage is cramped and relatively expensive for paying hotel guests. The hotel does not offer an in/out flat 24-hour rate for guests for parking, but you won't know this if you park yourself. I arrived for a weekend event on Saturday afternoon, checked in, showered, changed and relaxed. 2.5 hours later, I had to pay $13 to leave the garage. I returned that evening, and then had to pay $23 to leave the following morning.

My boyfriend and I went down to visit my friend for her birthday and she also stayed at the hotel with us. We arrived on Friday and it was a problem since then. The food was nasty the staff was nasty and rude, and they were very unorganized. I had to curse out the staff and the manager. It was so horrible. I would not stay there again. The room service was very high and we were charged for things we did not even order. If you do stay, go the diner right down the road. It stays open 24hours and they have excellent food. But STAY AWAY FROM THE WESTIN.

This is one of the geatest places I stay at!! I travel often and have stayed many places... This is by far one of my favorites for atlana. I love the huge windows, the heavenly bed is the most comfy hotel bed you will EVER sleep in. Starbucks on site, across from hard rock cafe. I have stayed here for many reasons like going to concerts, braves games, the aquarium, coca cola, day b/f flight leaves out, shopping trips, etc.. It's pretty great for them all! The only thing that has ever happened while staying here was the air broke once for a while but was fixed very QUICK!! I have no complaints on this place, I LOVE IT!!!!

The hotel provided us a wonderful place to stay for the evening. With beautiful skyline views and a very clean room we were very pleased with our stay. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and friendly and the staff responded to a need very quickly. Would certainly stay there again.

My trip overall was wonderful, I would like to have had a jacuzzi in the room, and better TV, you need to have more channels available.

Great location. The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast cafe was outstanding; a little pricy, but very good. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable! Definitely will return.

We were going to a conference at the Philips Arena, the Peachtree Plaza location was within perfect walking distance. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating to our specific needs. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
