We enjoyed the clean, neat atmosphere of the new hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our children were also treated like honored guests even though the hotel is mostly for business travelers.

Hotel staff was friendly, responsive and very professional. Charged to place calling card calls. This hotel provides a high level of service. The staff was friendly, responsive and very professional. It is geared for business travelers as it connects to the convention center.

This hotel is a wonderful hotel. The staff are perfect. The valets were so friendly and helpful giving us instructions on how to get to our destinations. The front desk was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. It was a great hotel. Will stay there again.

Very nice hotel in an excellent location adjacent to the Boston Convention Center and waterfront. Staff are courtious and always willing to assist with travelers needs. Also a short walk or taxi ride to downtown.

First time here. A bit pricey, but hotel is only 3 years old. Concierge very helpful. Rooms are large, roomy nicely furnished. Need more color. Huge lobby , lots of privacy. Close to waterfront ,very convenient to downtown Boston. We ate at the outddoor cafe. Excellent menu, wonderful service , varied food choices , and priced fairly. We spent 2 days in Boston from Vermont. We try to see a least one concert annually at Bank of America Pavilion. Super Venue.

Cleanliness, staff and atmosphere. Restaurant prices- all meals. Way too expensive. Very nice place to stay, staff treats you well. Prices at dining areas are very high. Rooms are well cleaned.

The hotel was located near a subway station so that was great! Our room was beautiful. My only gripes are that Wireless internet costs $12.95 per 24hrs in your room which I think is a little ridiculous when it is free at less expensive hotels and the hotel's convenience store closes at 8 or 9pm and there are no vending machines in the hotel if you want a midnight snack or beverage.

Westin provides a consistently excellent environment. Pool was closed. Fitness center is basic. Could use TVs for individual viewing.

The hotel was clean and quite upscale. Parking at the hotel is $32 a day! Great hotel, excellent location. If you don' have a car, the subway is close by. If you have a car, park on the street right across from the hotel to save $32 a night. We enjoyed our stay at the Westin.

The hotel was nice and clean, organized. We did not eat in the restaurant, because there is too much good food and restaurants to be had in the city. I would have liked for the concierge desk to have had longer hours. 9-5 didn't always work for us. Some mornings we were up and gone before 9 and did not return until after 5. A stand in the lobby with pamphlets available on city attractions would have been nice so we could help ourselves to information. I like the shuttle to and from town. We used it several times. There are drinking glasses in the room, they are in the cabinet next to the refrigerator in the room - there was even a wine glass. No need for a cab. There is van transportaton every morning and evening. We are walkers and the Silver line of the MBTA is a very short walk [less than 5 minutes]. This gives you access to the entire city. Buy a City Day Pass or a Week Pass for unlimited rides. I was traveling with my adult daughther and we felt very safe walking from the Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall area at night.

The room was ok, but they charge $15/day for wireless internet. I was originally billed for things I did not remove from the wet bar and double billed for internet usage. They removed the charges but sounded accusatory when I explained the errors on the bill at checkout. Additionally, the internet in the room barely worked. Every ten minutes or so I would have to turn my wireless off and back on to be able to surf. Parking is $31/day. I think all parking in Boston is really expensive, so I don't blame this part on the hotel. Just be ready to pay a fortune for taxis or parking, and plan on taking the T everywhere. For the price of this hotel, I recommend finding something better. The Seaport Hotel is a block away, and there are tons of other options nearby.

Location. Room size very small. Hotel met my expectations and the price was right, no real complaints. Thanks Priceline!

I stayed two nights in the Westin Waterfront, after staying with a friend in Boston for the first 4 nights of my trip. This hotel was very up to date and clean. The front desk staff gave me an early check-in (9AM) and a room on the 10th floor facing the downtown skyline. The bathroom soap left my skin feeling smooth, clean and moisturized. The pool was a little weird, housed in a humid and warm pool room. The hotel is a little off the beaten path. If you stay there, you should walk to the silver line T station to start out your day, rather than making the trek to the south station T line. I unfortunately learned this on my last day. Overall I rate this hotel with 4 happy faces....I almost forgot, the bed was amazing!!!!

Hotel was very clean, safe, comfortable, and during a 5-night stay I was never disturbed by noise. The staff was also very polite/friendly/helpful. I was disappointed that there were no drinking glasses in the room - the individually wrapped plastic cups are straight out of a cheap interstate motel. Also, there is no restaurant table/bar stool out of the full view of every guest walking between the lobby and elevator. Outside, there is very, very little within walking distance, but see tip below. Also, maybe it's just me but I find it really annoying that a hotel obviously catering to business travelers charges 10 per day for internet access. Maybe because they know it just goes onto expense accounts - but as a business owner, I care about that extra 60 on my tab for something that should be included, as it is at many less expensive hotels.

we got to check in early, view was fantastic, people were great. the hotel is right across from the t station. felt very safe in the neighborhood. eat at a great restaurant across the road a bit, seafood bar or something. was cheap and great beer.

I loved theheavenly bed and the bathrobe! I was told that the only waterfront views were the rooms with 2 double beds, no king beds. This hotel hosts mostly business travelers (as it's located directly beside the Boston Convention & Exhibition center), but it's still a wonderful location for a leisure traveler. The Silver Line T stop is just across the street and it's easy to get to South Station (as well as the airport). Taxi's are also always available if you prefer them. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was busy with many laptops/cell phones and business deals, but as the lobby is very large and open, there is room for the vacationer as well. I had a very enjoyable stay the beds are heavenly and the rooms a comfortable size.

I stayed her for 4 days in August 2008. Here's my summary: Good Points: Easy access to/from Logan Airport on the T's Silver Line for $2. One block walk to hotel. Heavenly Bed. Heavenly Bath. Excellent access to Boston Convention and Exposition Center (NOT the Hynes Convention Center) via covered walkway. Hopping evening happy hour and cocktail scene in the lobby. The White Birch Martini is AMAZING! Fitness center is nice...pool is too small for laps though. Spacious rooms Not so Good: Forget the renowned Westin service. If you're a business traveler paying a pre-negotiated rate you won't receive anything but bare bones service. I asked for wake up calls for 4 mornings. I received one in return. Charge for high speed internet. I get it for free at Omni hotels just for signing up for their customer loyalty program. Get with program Westin... There are no amenities or entertainment nearby...A couple of restaurants in the area, but not really a safe area to walk in at night...Perhaps in a few years. Food prices are outrageous. I know it's a hotel restaurant, but for the quality, it's not worth it. Finally...RUDE staff. I guess they thought I was rude for having the temerity to ask to check my bags for a few hours before I left for the airport. The front desk clerk literally rolled her eyes and huffed when I asked. Housekeeping is sloppy. I left the room in better condition when I left each day then it was when I returned. No joke.

Hotel is for convention and business travelers only. 1 restaurant was available, very expensive, and food seemed too gourmet for most people. Other restaurants very far away. Parking was 39.00 per day in addition to the expensive rooms. Not for a vacation.
Date of Stay:
December, 2008
Good for checking-in, sleeping, checking-out. If not attending a convention next door, you're a couple of blocks into nowhere, requiring a walk, taxi, or public transit. Nothing else is next door.
