Shower and service very good. Location excellent with Baskins across street - drugstore conveniently across other street. Hotel is very close to Times Square and theaters. Room service food is severely overpriced and low in quality.

Great Location Friendly Staff Excellent Service Just One Problem Internet is 14 Usd a Day, I think that hotels should charge for internet any more because it is available all around even outside the street there are many cafes withfree wireless internet requesting that money for an internet connection daily is not reasonable nor nice.

We stayed from April 11 - April 14, 2009. This was a great location. Times Square was only a block away. Take pictures but shopping is expensive in this area. We went into Ripleys - cool for kids. The subway is just a few steps a way depending on where you exit the hotel. The tour buses for the Gray Line were only a couple blocks down the street. The broadway shows were just a few blocks away (walking distance). We saw The Lion King (awesome!). Important: There is a $150/night hold placed on your credit card - I was taken totally by suprise - be prepared for that. We stayed in a 2 bed deluxe room it was clean and quiet with the exception of a few closing doors from adjacent rooms. We had a large window facing a view of the river (couldn't tell you which one) and a few buildings. When the blinds were shut it was very dark. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern, but beware of the strong flush of the toilet. Shula's/Room Service was pretty good/large portions but it is expensive as most hotel resturaunts are, try Juniors for breakfast/lunch and don't forget the cheesecake. Ask the concierge for advice for resturants. We were recommended Ollie's a Chinese Food resturant a few blocks from away we were not disappointed. Also the hotel is connected to Regal Cinemas, Chevys and a Starbucks.

My husband and I stayed at the Westin for our anniversary. It was our first trip to NY and it couldn't have been better! The Westin is a beautiful hotel and the location is great. Only one street away from Times square! We were within walking distance to many things. The room was so nice and the bed was great. We slept so well. I would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful corner room on the 19th floor with spectacular views. We are already discussing when we are going to go back. It was a very special trip and NY is a great city.

Location. The bed in our room seemed to be an old bed. The middle of the bed was worn and the outer part rolls you back in to the middle. I didn't sleep very well due to the bed. It seemed to worn or old. We kept rolling into each other all night because the center seemed to worn more.

Westin advertises "heavenly bed and heavenly bath", well, the bed is nice enough but the shower is very good. They have two adjustible showerheads that make your shower luxurious. It could have been better designed, though. I would like a sitting area on the edge of all hotel showers where you could soak your aching feet after a day of airplane travel and hours of tramping through Times Square. That would have made their bath heavenly. Still, that was one of the best showers i've ever had in a hotel. The maids were exceptionally friendly and considerate as were the room service staff and front desk ladies. The hotel location is great - very near theaters, food, Times Square. Duane Reade drug store across street is convenient for snacks etc. . DO NOT order room service breakfast. I got the basket of breads containing three unremarkable, small, dry pastries and a serving of Canadian bacon with cranberry

Friendly staff, large room. Entrance on 43rd St. Great hotel. Gave us a corner room for a very low price windows on 2 sides. Check in/out was fast. Had trouble getting extra pillows - took over an hour and was told they only had one left. Otherwise, a stellar experience.

Perfect hotel for our family spring break vacation. Truthfully exceeded my expectations. I travel to Midtown Manhattan for business approximately 6 times per year and the Westin Times Square was the nicest accomodations I have had over the last 5 years. Will definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay at the Westin, The bell staff was very good. The security of the hotel was present at all times. We felt very safe. Rooms are done nicely. TV was great for children and games. Shower was great. The beds at the Westin are the best. There is no hotel that has better. All the services you would expect were very good. We look forward to our next stay at a Westin.

I chose the Westin based on the travel website reviews. I was worried about some of the comments: "Small Rooms" Based on great price , the proximity to Times Square, and the comfortable appearance of the HUGE bed in the pictures we chose Westin. The Westin is everything a hotel should be. It is completely new throughout. As you enter at street level, the concierge and security are first to help. We arrived early before check-in and had some time for early sight-seeing, so the Westin Staff will check your bags so you can feel safe while you tour the nearby Times Square. They are all polite, frindly and helpful. There is also an Esplanade entrance from the rear of the building which is gained through walking through a small mall and theater complex and leads to the front desk. The design of the lobby is open, yet cozy, with subdued colors throughout. The front desk personnel were exceptionally helpful. Our Westin Rep was a pleasant young lady, took our early check-in and told us we would have after chamber service. What a room! On the top 45th floor. FANTASTIC CITY VIEW! The rooms are walled with a very light pastel green, very soothing. The bed was a "California King" which though huge, still did not overpower the large room. SO COMFORTABLE! Spacious room thorughout. Bathroom great. Dual shower heads. Thick robes. Small Minor ding: Wood & glass bathroom sliding door is heavy, which also gives a feel of a lack of privacy. Finallly, Westin gives you a catalogue of all the furniture and linens and where to buy them. We will be getting that California King! Walked right up the street and started sight-seeing, had a great dinner at the "DERVISH" Turkish restaurant, next am, breakfast at Tiffany's and went home happy.
