The Westin Providence has heavenly beds, showers, lighting, toiletries, etc. Everything is the Creme de le Creme!!

Placed us next to active elevator shaft noisy. First key they gave us was for an occupied room.

My family and I just stayed 3 nights and can't say enough good things about this hotel. After reading some of the horrific reviews on some of the internet sites we didn't know what to expect. We were most pleasantly surprised. Once arriving and valet parking we were escorted inside by the bellman. The lobby is just breathtaking and bustling with activity but not a chaotic scene at all. After a quick check in and elevator ride to the East tower, we opened the door to find an immaculate room with a huge flat-screen tv and two comfortable double beds among the ammenities. The only thing lacking was the complimentary internet service as we had to pay a fee to activate my lap top. The convenience for my wife and children to the Providence Place Mall was just super as they never had to walk outside to access it. Overall, the next time I have to come to Providence there will be no other hotel we'll be staying at. BRAVO !!!

I expected the room to be slightly bigger for the price paid. But it was very clean, and the atmosphere of the hotel was nice and fancy.

The Westin Providence is a very nice business hotel. My only two complaints are: 1) would like a makeup mirror in the bathroom, and 2) the limited number of channels on the elliptical I used in the fitness center. I had a choice of 4 channels (which is very limited) and only 2 worked (football and Fox News), neither of which I like to watch.

Location. Room service, slow, horrible, cold. Room dirty carpet stained, weight censored fridge charged wrongly. My fiance and I were very pleased with the location, but thats about all we enjoyed. We ordered room service well over 60$ worth an hour or so later it arrived COLD and not what we were expecting for a 4 star hotel. Also the room seemed outdated and drab. There were stains all over the carpet, dust and dirty windows and a horribly designed refrigerator that charges you automatically, even if you just picking something up to look at it (they did remove the charges from the bill). I'm very happy that we did not pay the full price of almost 200$ a night, otherwise it would not have been tolerated it.

We stayed at the Westin in January... we took a lot more home than we bargained for. All night we felt like we were being bit and went home after one night thinking nothing of it. The itchiness persisted and we had bites on us so we went to see the doctor- turns out there were bedbugs in the room. We are really disgusted with this considering the Westin is a 4 star hotel. Not only did we pay for the beg bug infested rooms we had to pay for an exterminator and had a lot of stress to deal with. We called the hotel on a few occasions to inform them of this. The Director of Operations did not return our numerous phone calls. Also, one of the people answering the phone said to stop calling and that they didn't care. DO NOT STAY AT THE WESTIN!

When I booked the room I asked for the best available room, and received a Jr. suite at * for one (Saturaday) night. Note parking is not included, which added *+ . I have no problem with the price, and the check in was fast and polite. Upon exiting the elevator I noticed trash on the floor, which was still there eight hours later. The room was average in appearance, with a nice bed, BUT...there was a very large (12+") red wine stain in the middle of the floor! I also noticed the phone cord in the very average bathroom was filthy. In addition the a/c was fair at best. I told the front desk staff and sent the corporate office an email, the hotel manager responded with an offer of free breakfast on my next stay at the hotel!! I have stayed at many hotels in many parts of the world, and was really surprised they would rent out a room in this condition, especially at the rate charged. I have reached a point in my life where I am unwilling to tolerate rooms in this condition, and try to book accordingly. If you are at all fussy about cleanliness, I would not stay here.

The hotel was extremely convenienent for the conference I was attending at the Convention Center. The room had all the amenities that I desire on a business trip.

Great location. Room was a bit noisy. Overall a great place to stay. Wireless in lobby, although staff on phone was unable to assist us when we were trying to sign on. Long line at front desk and no concierge to provide assistance, so we had to come back later to use the lobby wireless.

The hotel was the best thing in Providence. The room was beautiful, just in front of the State House in the center of the city. I've never slept better, the bed was a paradise.

Most hotels in downtown Providence are very expensive, but this was a great deal! Easy access to the Providence Place Mall without going outdoors. Parking gets a bit pricey. The fitness center had lots of wonderful equipment!

It was a pleasant stay. Wonderful restaurant downstairs. Wonderful location. Lovely view.

Location. The parking was expensive! A fine, clean hotel with hot tub and pool and exercise room (not all machines in working order). A little sterile by my standards, nothing that makes you feel that you are anywhere special when you are! I like the older parts of the city. Hard to find from this hotel, but not really far away as everything is close in Rhode Island. Skip the mall and go to Wickenden Street. Go to the Museum. Walk around the old neighborhoods.

We spent one night in this hotel and took in a wondeful night at Waterfire. Everything was clean and nice. The pool was fun for the children and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely go back again. Only thing I didn't like is no free internet. This is a pet peeve of mine, having to pay for internet in a hotel when there are so many places you can sit openly and get a signal. I'd rather have internet than free toiletries.

This hotel is extremely comfortable and has awesome views of Providence. It is actually connected to the Providence Place Mall and RI convention center. It is also connected to the parking garage. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. It is worth the extra money to stay here when in Providence.

This is my first time to stay with Westin, The hotel is very nice but a little bit hard to find the entrance. My daughters love that the hotel have a connection to the Providence Place Mall and it have every things for everyone. The Westin is only hotel in that area that have a swimming pool but it kind of a little bit far from my room. I stayed at the 2 double beds nice room , nice bathroom but the room was smell new paint or from the carpet either one of that. Overall is nice but a little bit of walking to downtown or midtown and the town is very quiet nothing,It was a 4th of July day no Fireworks,no open market, no stores open. Only 1 thing that was upset me was the refrigerator in the room, I had milk and left over foods,so I took the drinks out and use the empty spaces for my stuffs, When I Check-out, my jaws drop because I got charges, Please be careful and ask the front desk when you check-in.
