For a Westin propoerty this did not feel any better than a lower-star option. Rooms were very basic and felt tired. The staff appeared to be doing the least to keep their commitments to their customers; not particularly welcoming although it would be hard to characterize them as unfriendly. More expected from Westin.

Great room quality. Parking cost. The staff was very friendly when checking in. The room was great. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view was great. And the location was wonderful.

We stayed here to attend a concert at the Mellon Arena. We had an excellent dinner at the seafood restaurant downstairs and walked to the show. It was a very nice evening. The bed was comfortable, and the room was adequate. The only problem was the bathroom was musty and the outlets didn't work in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One employee even helped navigate my friend to the hotel when he was lost in the city.

Double shower head. There was no queen beds. Hotel is well located with easy access to downtown Pittsburgh. I was disappointed, it was the highest star hotel, yet at the front desk, they said there were no queen beds. My next indicator that it's not a high end hotel, was that when I went to the lobby and asked for an umbrella, they didn't have any. This is a great business hotel especially for the price. The sheets were clean. The low-speed WiFi internet was fine for occasional access, but the reality is that you need to the high-speed direct connection if you are going to vpn into the office. For my business, I would return.

Pros- *clean room, *large fairly comfy bed, *room was spacious*quick elevators Cons- *self serve and valet parking lots were full so we had to park several blocks away at a public garage - had to carry bags that far as well since the shuttle wasn't offerred until we inquired about a discount or something for the trouble *very very very noisy - could hear normal conversations between rooms and in the halls, cleaning staff whistled, sang, and yelled back and forth early in the AM * gift shop closed at 11pm and there we no vending machines or anything to get a simple snack after that - had to use their expensive room service. *relatively expensive ($210) for one night and definitely not worth the cost * if you want a romantic night do not go here - the noise in the halls and the water running all night will kill any romantic spirit that you are feeling!

Free shuttle, clean, staff helpful. Pool was broken. This hotel was very nice. The staff was helpful, and the free shuttle to anywhere was an excellent perk! The restaurants in the hotel had good food, but were expensive. Our room was clean, and roomy. We would definitely stay here again.

It was great except for the part that the area was very busy. I enjoyed staying there with my family and will stay there again. I hope that if you go there with more then 4 people though, you will get 2 rooms.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with my room in this hotel. One thing I think I can say is that there was blood on the wall outside of the bathroom which I found to be very offending. The room also smelled of smoke when it was to be a smoke free room. For the price I had to pay because all other area hotels were booked, I was very unhappy with the value.

Everything about the hotel was luxurious. The hotel is in a very convenient downtown location. Rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and quiet.

Room was comfortable and within walking distance to local attractions. The food was excellent and prices were well within the prices for that area. Portions were not over whelming but filling.

The service was extraordinary. We had a most pleasant experience.

Hotel noisy. Could hear every door close on floor and all water running. The restuarant on the 2nd floor was never open while I was there 5 days. The wait staff in the bar on thar floor was very friendly even when overwhelmed with customers. The 1st floor restaurant was very expensive. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Asked for a fridge and received on within 1/2 hour.

A free shuttle. No breakfast. Excellent customer service. Very friendly staff. I loved the free shuttle service! They dropped us off and we called to get a ride back, they were there in 15 minutes!

"1st room, commode filthy, moved to 2nd room, again, filthy, valet parking is a joke, they lost our vehicle - took 1 1/2 hours to find it, one lie after another, shameful, this hotel doesn't even qualify for a half a star rating. Elevators kept breaking down, stairs were dirty, escalator wasn't working, the hole facility was nasty. "
