Great location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of New York City, but close and convenient enough to get around via path train and subway

Very good choice. The Manhattan view is not so amazing. Everything is good.

We loved our stay at the hotel. It was beautiful, close to train station, and the staff was wounderful. The only thing we didn't like was the price of parking everyday.

I was a bit disappointed. The Westin Jersey City Newport is new and they gave us an upgrade to a higher floor, however they scrimped on items that seemed trivial. For instance, they didn't provide soap, shampoo, etc the second day we were there...we were to continue to use the ones we had. There weren't enough towels for two women in a room...the little things were lacking. The hotel restaurant was way pricey...$5.50 for a cup of coffee?! I enjoyed the fact that the PATH was just a block away and the staff was very nice but...

Wasn't in the hotel much, but when the day ended and it was time to go to sleep, it was like heaven. The hotel was peaceful and the rooms are so comfortable, you almost don't want to leave the room. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean and spacious room, good location, great price! I can't find anything wrong on this hotel. This hotel has great location, near by PATH station and good view to Manhattan across the river. The hotel looks like brand new building and everything is very clean and room is very spacious. Compared with price, this is top level hotel near Manhattan vicinity.

Westin Jersey City, NJ is a fabulous hotel. Staff was superb, from check-in to check out. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms sublime. I had a view of the Hudson River, Manhattan and the Verrazano Bridge. The bedding was all cotton, luscious; flat screen tv, all hookups for electronics, Starbucks coffee & premium teas in the room, terry bathrobe awaiting me... Everything was was ultra comfortable. The decor of my hotel room 's spacious bathroom was one I would like to duplicate in my own home. Colors, tile, sink style - I loved it! How often have I consdered that? Never before! It is EZ to NYC, EZ to a nice variety of restaurants - Cuban, Indian, seafood, sandwiches, plus a full indoor shopping mall in walking distance. Light Rail to everywhere is steps away. So... Run, don't walk to Newport City (actual location) for this hotel.

4 star hotel should have complimentry breakfast. I was disappointed when they only offered coffee and tea and that too with no extra creamer and sugar..annoying!

Foyer very impressive. Very friendly staff - went extra mile, good location. Good location, excellent alternative for busy, expensive Manhattan. Good, fast service: extra coffee and cutlery was quickly delivered.

I had the pleasure of this hotel. It was quite upscale. I enjoyed the ambiance and the attentiveness of the staff, who were very professional and friendly, at all times. Shopping was great! The Newport Mall was a short walk away and had almost any store you could think of. I didn't even bother to go into Manhattan, all I needed was right there, near the hotel, and most within walking distance. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling to the area.

Very, clean, quiet, great beds and shower. Would definitely be happy to stay again. Close to shopping, restaurants, path trains to NYC and LRT to other Hudson county NJ locations.

This is a great location. Quick and inexpensive breakfast options nearby. Great dinner locations at night. Quick walk to nearby shopping. Great view of the Hudson River and NYC skyline. Close to transit!

I like that someone was there at all time to assist you. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I didn't like that we had to pay to park your car in a garage, and needless to say, you have to pay $22 and you can't move it or $28 to move it. I think the hotel was very nice, but need to change there parking rules.

It was quiet. No shuttle to Newark airport. This was a very pleasant hotel. We asked for a quiet room and they accommodated our request. We also asked for a roll-away bed and it was incredibly comfortable. We liked the coffee maker that made individual cups of Starbucks coffee.

Very friendly, helpful staff. The did not mention, the hotel description, anything about paying for parking. Very nice hotel with very friendly staff.
