Staff would not controll teenage parties on our floor

The staff was excellent: Very knowledgeable, informative, customer service oriented. My bathroom had not and was not thoroughly cleaned during my stay. Loved the hotel. Only negative comment: My bathroom has large balls of hair under the sink and around the toilet. Bathroom was not well cleaned during my stay either.

I was a guest over the weekend, and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The workout facility is better than the surrounding hotels, and I enjoyed the brisk walk to the convention center. I loved the double fauceted shower! I would stay again when I visit Minneapolis.

We live just outside Minneapolis and thought it would be fun to stay downtown for the weekend. We choose the Westin by chance and were very impressed with the service we received, the beauty of the hotel, and the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. We would definately reccomend the hotel to friends and family.

This is a beautiful hotel and unlike some hotels that just dress up the lobby and lounge, the rooms are just as nice. This is a perfect hotel for either a business or leisure stay. Only a few blocks from the metro-dome and city center. Mall of America and the Minneapolis Zoo are only a short drive also.

Nice bedding, rooms. No self park, valet park $28. Very nice converted bank to hotel. Rooms are nice and restaurant is good. There is no parking except valet which cost $28.

Beautiful lobby/bar area. Restaurant has extensive wine selection on display. Rooms very nice, not spacious but big enough. Our chaise longue looked to be used pretty hard. TV good, could use more channels. Bathroom is tight but workable --love that heavenly two-head shower. Staff very very friendly and helpful - from check-in to concierge to valet parkers to bar tenders. Business center very useful. Workout area and pool look very nice (we didn't use on this trip). Would definitely stay there again.

All areas of the hotel were nicely decorated. Location was terrific, workout room had nice equipment. The staff was a little snooty. The street in front of this hotel was under daily construction and since almost all the streets are one way the traffic was a mess to get through. You can only valet park the park which is a tad pricey since there is no alternative. The staff was a tad snooty but helpful nonetheless, that includes the check in girl, the valet, and the staff in the restaurant. The room was very nice, with a nice, large, flat screen TV. The pool was nice and warm (and indoors) but strangely all stainless steel. The workout room had a nice selection of equipment. The hotel is very nicely located for evenings out in the downtown area. Good value over all for the money!

Excellent location, easy to reach off the LIght Rail from MSP. Nice clean room, love the Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath. Nice Tv. Room service could have had more offerings. Good service, helpful staff -one walked me through the skywalks to buy a pack of gum! Bank vault decor was unique.

The staff was very polite. The room was nice and the air conditioning was very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like, which was in no part the fault of the hotel staff, was a rude group of people who went down the hall loudly at 4:45am, waking me up. The television was very large and the bed was very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed another night.

Excellent, great rooms, bed was terrific, linen fantastic, staff wonderful lobby beautiful pool fantastic. Nothing at all. This was an excellent hotel. First rate rooms, furnishings, great attention to detail. The bed was sumptuous with excellent linens. Shower was also fantastic. The staff were really helpful and very pleasant. The lobby/lounge/restaurant was very lovely really a first class and elegant place. It is a historic preservation of an old historic bank they did a marvelous job with the preservation and then added a swanky, modern, elegant, but very accessible flair to the space. It is a really great space to be in and gather, meet, have a cocktail, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel. We loved it. Food was outstanding. Pool was perfect and everything was spotless.

A few times a year we travel to "the city" for a little wine and dine. This is our 2nd stay at the Westin. Love, love, love it. It's beautiful, (an old bank restored) clean, and it smells devine. The rooms are small but extremely nice. Great beds and linens. Flat screen TV's and did I mention they smell devine. They have some sort of something being pumped through the air that makes the whole place smell so amazing. It's subtle but noticeable. It's location is perfect. Right off the middle of Nicolette ave. Everything is within walking distance. Clubs, food and shopping. We haven't eaten at the Westin yet but it is a beautiful setting for both eating and sitting with friends and having a cocktail. The party rooms look nice also. The staff was friendly and made us feel special. I can't say enough nice things. We love it there and would recomend it to anyone.

The Minneapolis Westin was an outstanding hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with a plasma TV. The fitness room and pool were clean and nice. The location could not have been better. We enjoyed walking to breakfast and seeing the downtown sights every morning. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My son said, I always want to stay here when we visit Minneapolis.

Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows. When I arrived, I was given a room that looked out at a cement wall. The hotel is conveniently located and the rooms are clean, spacious and well-appointed. The lobby is wonderful with very high ceilings (it was the lobby of the Farmers and Merchants' Bank) and the business center was pleasant to use.

If your looking for the SMALLEST rooms in downtown Minneapolis, the Westin is the place to go. VERY VERY small. In fact, the smallest I have every stayed in except for Paris. I was very disappointed with the decor. TV was amazing. Bathrooms just ok. I would not stay here again with all the wonderful hotels downtown Minneapolis. I had a city view room which was two very small windows. I believe it is more for the business traveler who is looking for just a place to sleep. The Bank restaurant was amazing. Good rates.

The Westin downtown Minneapolis was in a very convenient location. The lobby was impressive and the rooms were comfortable and above expectation! The front desk wasn't in the most obviously place and the weekend brunch buffet was extremely overpriced. I'd stay again, but would suggest something complimentary in the mornings for the money you spend to stay the night there besides coffee in the rooms. Other amenities that I wish had been more convenient instead of having to request them was, in a particular, a refrigerator. But, overall you couldn't ask for a more luxury bed and bathroom. The double shower head was absolutely wonderful and the bed was 'heavenly'!

Beds were comfortable and service was excellent. Parking was $28 per day and was too expensive. Great business traveler hotel. Rooms were modern and beds were very comfortable. Parking was expensive and not many alternatives. Hotel was right in bus district and also close to shopping, restaurants and bars.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel with very nice guest rooms. The bed and bathrooms are some of the best I've ever seen in any hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The elevators are ran completely by your room key, which is a nice safety feature, but they did create issues as they seemed to have difficulty reading sometimes. Parking in the area is less than desirable, but overall it was a good experience, and I would definitely stay again.

Excellent bed. While attractive the bathroom had no counter space, extra charges for little things. Good location for shopping, restaurants. Excellent staff. Paying for ambiance.
