This was our second at your hotel, and we will be back. The beds are closer to what we have at home than any we have found at other hotels.

The lobby, distance from airport, and hotel in general were very comfortable and clean and nice. It is located next to a dog kennel with noisy barking dogs. Nicely appointed ,with a great staff this hotel is great for a one nights stay on a layover from the airport. You pay for parking, internet, touching the snacks, and opening the fridge. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are nice but nothing fantastic.

I STAYED AT THE WEST-IN HOTEL NEAR THE LAX. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERENCE I EVER HAD. THE PARKING WAS $18.00 A DAY . I DID NOT KNOW THIS ABOUT THE PARKING BEFORE HAND. SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY RENTAL CAR AND STOLE MY GPS. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW THAT HAPPEN ....WHEN THE HOTEL CHARGE $18..00 A DAY FOR PARKING. I GOT STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR. AND THEY CHARGE ME FOR THE SNACK TRAY IN THE ROOM AUTOMATICALLY (4Xs). I WOULD ADVISE YOU ALL TO TAKE THIS HOTEL OFF OF YOUR LIST.

The kids and I were there for a funeral service whichwas being held in the city, and all our relatives live in the valley. Our flight did not leave until8:50pm, so the manager ([...]-God bless him.) allowed us an extended check-out. We just happen tobe in the elevator with [...], at the same time.I considered it a blessing.

Clean, modern and accomadating airport convienence. They counted my mini bar in 3 seconds flat but didn't get me clean towels at all. Checkin was pleasant quick and easy, my room was spacious and clean, there was a great selection of bath products, luxurious towels and a robe, The hotel lobby had wifi and was pretty. Room service was quick and delicious. The menu was more modern and health conscious, and the whole operation ran smoothly. The thing that I didn't like was that I never got room service for the 2 days i was there, no fresh towels or replenishment of toiletries. I actually had to take replenishments off the hotel cart while walking to the pool. Overall much better than other airport hotels in LAX.

The hotel has the feel of being run down. The carpeting and walls look worn. The elevators were extremely slow. The staff explained this was because they were replacing the elevators. It was not unusual to wait over 5 minutes for an elevator. Be sure to check your bill carefully. There are trays with food items on the bureau. If you move an item or accidentally knock one over, you will be charged for it. Also, I forgot my headphones and they didn't have any that you can use in the fitness center. They charge $11.95 for internet access - this is a pet peeve of mine. The only thing that I can say is that the food at the conference I attended was good.

Got there at midnight with a pre-paid room. Waited for 20 minutes to check-in. Staff is SLOW. When a group of 10 pilots/stewardesses arrived, they stopped checking the "regular" line in until all 10 were checked in. I could not believe it. No need to stay unless you are Airline crew or have all the time in the world to wait.

Great service and close to airport. Only stayed for less than 24 hours so there was really nothing I didn't like. Very nice hotel. We where only there for a short visit before we had to catch our early morning flight but enjoy the short stay. We would stay there again.

We booked this hotel as a central spot to sightsee for 4 days in LA. It was easy access to freeways and hotel was very nice. Front desk was extrememly helpful and polite. The cocktail bar was a great place to hang out after a long day of driving. A tip: the front desk has menus for the local pizza and pasta places that deliver; a nice alternative to the hotel restaurant if you are not in the mood for fancy fare. Although not a newer Westin property, it was well maintained and our room was very nice. We would definately return.

The price was reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it actually was for the money. Its a great locale, about a mile from the airport and a 1/4 mile from the 405.Be prepared for a parking fee of $18 per day. Check in before you park!

Very near to the airport, clean, pretty, very comfortable. The guest service attendant was very rude.

The hotel was shielded well from external noise. However the noise in the hallways and neighboring rooms was enough to wake a body several times. The welcoming smell of musty carpets lend itself to the towels and the bed. The price of the snacks and one bottle of water in the room were outrageous. Best to pack in something to drink and to eat as walking about after sunset is probably not adviseable. When you wake the next day ready for that quick continental breakfast....forget it...it's not there. You'll have to grab some grub their pricey restraurant or wait until you get to the airport. Too bad....the initial information on the web along with the images made this seem like it would be better accomodations than they were.

I checked in and went upstairs to find the room looked like it was still occupied. The bellman who was supposed to show up with a keycard to a new room didn't show, so I lugged my luggage back down to the lobby to get the new keycard myself. There was an alluring ethernet cable on the desktop, but it didn't work, and tech support was no help -- but EVERYONE was helpfully suggesting the $11.95/day wireless internet. It seemed like a scam. They removed the charge at checkout, and the $2 charge for the call to tech support (which the hotel people transferred me to and never mentioned anything about a charge) also mysteriously disappeared. When I tried to leave the first time, the card reader in the garage wasn't able to pull up the data on my entry the night before and wouldn't let me out of the garage; I had to go in to the Front Desk and get a new one. There is a pack of dogs somewhere near the hotel that start barking at like 5am, so a good night's sleep was impossible. There was virtually no information on the hotel in the room -- no instructions on internet access, no listing of TV channels, etc.

Beautiful hotel, rooms and beds yummy, however, the pool and the hot tub were totally unheated, and the frount desk gave us the directions to the pool and failed to tell us that it was not useable. This was a hard ship on me as I am handicapped, and was in a handicapped room, walking to and from the pool was a push for me. Even still I would definately stay at the Westin again.

I booked the room with 2 beds as I was traveling with 2 other people. When I arrived on site, the clerk told me that there were no rooms available with 2 beds. I said I paid for 2 beds. He then offered me a roll-away bed for an additional cost. I said, I'm not paying for the extra bed. He was completely unwilling to help me without charging me extra for something I asked for in the first place. The next morning we went to brunch inside the hotel. It was a buffet with no more than 10 things available. Yet, somehow I paid over $45 for me and my sister. I could have gone across the street for half that price and gotten twice as much. I will be sure to tell all my friends to stay clear of this hotel.

Next to airport, could hear planes landing/taking off. Hotel parking fee is $18/day. Overall, if you don't mind the noise & parking fee.

This hotel was really quite wonderful. As soon as I walked in, the staff was helpful and attentive. The room was spacious and clean. I was not expecting such a nice experience after reading other reviews about this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The only downside is if your going to dine inside the hotel be aware its a little expensive, however, the quality was very good.

I was attending a conference in the hotel. The shuttle service was excellent, the room was very satisfactory. This was my second stay for conferences and I will be attending at least one more. I plan on returning to the hotel again and cannot suggest anything to have my stay more pleasant.

Comfortable beds, great shower, friendly housekeeping staff. Extremely expensive parking ($18/night), dusty rooms. Great location.
