The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Our first stay on the 10th floor had slow water pressure and the second room on the 5th floor had a very slow tub drain. (Neither of these we reported.) We did report the next morning that the words on our $16 pay-per-view movie didn't match up with the lips of the people speaking and they said because we didn't report it during the movie they couldn't do anything about it. This was poor customer service in my opinion. It was late and I had other things to do after the movie besides hassle with the front desk over a movie. The onsite restaurant didn't open until 5:45pm. Instead we asked the concierge to help us find a local place to deliver pizza. After three calls around he still couldn't find us anything so we gave up and waited for the restaurant to open. Other than the minor mishaps above, this hotel was clean, friendly, and inviting. The business center, however, needs serious changes to provide space and previously to users.

This hotel was definately worth the deal! The hotel was clean and stylish with a nice outdoor pool. The king sized bed was "heavenly". Once you lie on it, you almost immediately drift off into a deep sleep without even being tired! That's how comfortable it was. My husband and I were especially impressed with the mattress and bedding! We would definately stay at the Westin-Ft. Lauderdale again.

We were not informed of the extensive remodeling of the hotel prior to booking. We were not told that none of the hotel's facilities were available to use. Subsequently all we had was a room! A Very Poor Experience.

The hotel isn't far from many activities and popular areas of town that tourist may visit. The staff was very concerned with every aspect of my stay there including directions to and from different areas of town. The hotel was beyond comfortable and clean...very nice. I would definately recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel stay is great if you only stay in your room without room service, over price dinning,no vending or soda machine in lobby which forces you to use the mini bar (4.50 for a bottlewater) the front desk could not answer any question and for the price not even continentalbreakfast not to mention charged parking in there own parking lot

The hotel was under a complete overhaul and only had one elevator working. My room was dirty and the carpet was nasty. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Since we travel alot with our 2 Boston Terrior pups, we always look for PF hotels. Not only was the room model and clean, the hotel had no issues with having puppies. Some hotels even that say they are PF, can be less than. We give this GREAT RECOMMENDATION!

Being remodeled in Summer/Fall of 2008. Might be nice afterwards, but not when I was there.

The home page for The Westin, Fort Lauderdale, does not say that it is being renovated/under construction. The room we stayed in smelled very damp and moldy although everything looked clean. The air conditioner was not working properly and I think that is why the room smelled damp. We had gone to the Marlin game and arrived at the hotel very late. We drove around 300 miles that day and were very tired. I coughed all night from the mold & mildew. When I went down to the desk to check out the next morning, I told the clerk about our experience. She offered us a free breakfast. We already had breakfast, so we politely thanked the desk clerk and were on our way.

Once they complete remodel I'm sure it will be appropriately priced. Incorporate cost of parking in price or don't charge at all. That is in poor taste. At least comp it if your a Westin card member.

My stay at this Weston was less than pleasant. Finished my business early and was glad to leave after staying one day, paid for two days. Have stayed at this hotel many times over the years but won't be staying there again do to the daily self parking charge and very long walk from the parking lot (where self parking is). Room service is expensive for mediocre food quality.

The Westin was very comfortable, the beds were inviting, it felt like a home away from home.

This is a beautiful building, very nice/clean rooms. Very comfortable bed, great shower heads! Disappointed to not be able to hook up a WiFi system to TV. Very irritated that parking was available everywhere but I was charged $10/day for parking. Cheap hotel have free internet not here more charges. As we were traveling for sports purposes it would have been nice to be able to launder uniforms on site no laundry facility available for guests. We did not get a chance to dine in restaurants but the room service meal we got was very good (especially desert!).

Paradise found. Enjoy tanning by the beautiful pool with relaxing waterfall amidst free roaming wildlife (large iguanas).

Hotel was nice with nice exercise room. Pool was disgusting with big areas of black mold type substance on walls and floor of pool. One pool light was out of its location and laying in overflow area of pool - very dangerous! Many light around pool were old and broken, broken glass on floodlight, bare wires, etc. For a recently remodeled hotel this was disappointing as we spent a large part of our stay around pool. Very old furniture-needs replacing. Live iguanas around pool were a big hit with kids.
