Hotel stay was only a few hours. Not much to comment on. The room was nice, clean, and bed very comfortable. Didn't like the TV at 90 degrees to the bed instead of at or near the foot of the bed. Made for awkward viewing. Bathroom lighting was a bit harsh and made grooming a bit difficult.

Great lobby. Our room was dusty and carpet was dirty. Furniture was out of place. I would not like to stay at this hotel again, even though we got a good price!

The Westin Edmonton's downtown location was a very nice hotel, overall; my room was gorgeous, I loved the heavenly shower and king sized bed and the overall atmosphere of my room was very modern and relaxed. However, I was not informed of any underground parking fees when booking my hotel stay... instead, I was informed during check-in that it was $26.00 a night. I was a little bothered but there wasn't much I could do since I just drove 3 hours to get to Edmonton, was downtown, and just wanted to check into my hotel. Anyways, the second night of my stay, I decide to leave and find a $75.00 parking ticket on my vehicle. Of course, I know that the hotel will take care of this, but I am still a little frustrated that after all the work of registering my plate, (when I just wanted to settle in) I still got a parking ticket. So I left, and went to eat, but when I came back not only did I have to argue this parking ticket... there was no room in the underground parking! I had to park outside, all the way around back, in minus 25 weather.

A great room with a Heavenly bed. Close to bus routes. Courteous staff. Bathroom needs additional lighting over bathtub. Our third floor room was close to 24 hour fitness and pool so late night noise became an issue. Would stay there again on another floor.

The Westin Heavenly bed is the only thing that met my expectations. Parking attendants were slow. We had to get keys made every day - very frustrating. We booked a king size bed and got a double. Had to change the following day to another room. Our keys never worked when we get up to the room every day, and had to get new ones made. We always waited for more than 15 minutes for our car to come up from valet. Parking in the area is poor and so is the hotel parking. We were forced to valet, even though their was no value in self parking.

I reserved a room for 2 nights through online travel website. When I arrived at the hotel in the evening to check in, I was told that the hotel was full. I questioned them that it was already paid for and how could this happen. All they could do was kept on saying "We had no room for you tonight" and they had to send me to another hotel for the night. They ended up sending me to a "Best Western" type of hotel 30 minutes from town. I was too tired and had no energy to argue. The next day when I checked in for my second night, I was told that they will enroll me in their reward program and give me points for one free night and the membership card would be there when I checked out the next day. And of course, when I checked out, there was no such thing. I had a flight to catch and simply did not have the time to fuss around with bad service. May be we cannot just complain about overbooking with airlines. At least the airline asked for volunteers to give up their seats and get compensated for the inconvenience.

First your paying * a night for parking and they dont have enough underground so you have to park outside. And you are charged for everything. local calls, to flush the loo. But the bellman was awesome

Overall cleanliness and friendly staff. The price and how you had to pay for everything. This place was nice and clean with friendly staff. The downfall was that all you get for what you pay for is a room with beds. Everything else you have to pay for. You have to pay for a parking stall. You have to pay for internet that the city of Edmonton offers free. There is no regular cable and no continental breakfast.

The staff was friendly but the hotel was overpriced. My room was not stocked with enough towels or robes for two guests. A call to the front desk took more than 15 minutes to bring up another towel - but they brought up a bath robe instead. Also, there was open food in the fridge and the hotel charged me for taking food from the fridge when I didn't. Absolutely a terrible experience. The hotel didn't properly make-up the room or stock it and then charged me for their mistake. Their attempt to correct the mistake resulted in them making yet another mistake. I expect more from a $ Motel 6 and this hotel couldn't even live up to those low expectations.

Having spent 3 busy days at your hotel we were not able to enjoy all the amenities offered, but wish to compliment your staff. They were most helpful, cordial and went out of their way to answer our questions

Air has a piped in perfume that is great. The restaurant food was dreadful.

Hotel personnel had excellent service attitude. Valet parking extra, internet extra. Extremely clean and well laid out hotel rooms. There was a convention at the hotel yet we did not feel affected except for a longer wait for elevators to arrive. Internet service is extra - that should not be the case. Good central location if you need to be downtown. If you do not, then consider a hotel outside of city center where parking is not an extra cost of $28 and keep the money. The staff is extremely polite and exceptional levels of service are provided.

Staff assistance. Business center. Complimentary internet would be useful to maintain the star rating. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Television and business center left a bit to be desired.

Location, service, and price. I do not like having to pay for parking, but I suppose that is standard fare for downtown hotels.

It was an amazing looking hotel, and seemed very upscale. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. The hotel met all expectations except for the microwave and fridge not being in the room. With a younger child, it's hard not to have these in the room. The hotel was gorgeous, and very attractive to the eye, parking would have been nicer if it was not an extra $26/ night. I wish it would have been complimentary.

It was a nice hotel but I don't think it was a 4 star. The elevators had litter in it and there wasn't even a morning paper delivered to my room. These little things are what I expect from a 4 star. But, for the price I paid, it was still worth it.

Overall, it was a great hotel. Clean and friendly. I would not recommend this hotel if you are going to Edmonton for the mall. Downtown was a bit tricky to get in and out of.

Quick check in. Noise, extra charges for everything, lack of parking, poor attitude.

View was great, bed was massive, pillows were comfortable. We had a quick coffee in the lobby. The cost of the coffee was offensive, $5.50 per cup. The lobby is not that grand. No coffee should cost that.
