hotel was decent. parking the car at the valet took over an hour and ended up having myself go down with the valet and get it.

Comfortable rooms. Parking fee was too expensive. The hotel was very nice, although a few too many blocks away from the National Mall.

I stayed in 10th floor and the spacious room had a window facing the road. It was quiet and very clean. The taxi from Union Train Station was 8USD. Walking distance to Washington Monument and White House (15 minutes). No pool at the gym and no hotel slippers are provided. No points earned if booked through internet, for example on hotelclub.com. Overall a good place to stay.

I cannot believe a hotel that charges so much would lack so much in service. I called ahead to get a crib, a microwave and a refrigerator to help care for my child. When I arrived they were out of cribs when I arrived and they don't have refrigerators. They told me they would put a microwave in my room, but when I came back three hours later, they told me they don't have those for the rooms, either and I had to wait over an hour for a bottle warmer. Our room smelled like someone had just smoked in the bathroom, so it's not completely "no smoking". They do have thermostats in the room, so when I noticed that the temperature was still 72 degrees after leaving the fan on high for hours I called to find out that they don't have the air conditioning on in late March. While they offered a fan that did cool the room, why should I have to request a fan at 11 pm at night at a hotel that charges a base rate of $*** a night? This was not the best experience for someone wanting a relaxed night in DC.

I would recommend this hotel, especially for the price and ambiance. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very, very, courteous. I felt like I was a valued customer. I would definitely would recommend the hotel to anyone. I got this on a great last minute vacation deal and I didn't have any problems with check-in and the 2 double bed room that I requested. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom didn't have adequate ventilation, so it got very steamy in there and the room service prices were extremely high, so we went out to eat.

I enjoyed the peacefulness of the room. The bedding was exceptional! The fitness center was very clean with plenty of water, towels and magazines. The exercise equipment was updated and in great working condition. Unfortunately, due to the location, D.C., parking is a challenge. Maybe the guest(s) could be offered a self-parking option.

Cleanliness and overall quality. A solid on the edge of Downtown Hotel.

We stayed at the Westin to have the luxuries and conveniences of the Westin Experience. The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to the White House and museums. The front desk and 2 of the 3 concierge's were very helpful. One of the concierge's acted like we were bothering her when asking questions about out scheduled tour that was running late and then asked us to move in an unfriendly way because we were blocking her view of the street. The rooms were nice as expected, but we did not have a good view- a dumpster was below.

Stayed 3 nights - family trip to d.c. for fun. Fairly convenient location - excellent rates for the weekend after Christmas. Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable room. Only complaint is the expensive parking.

It was at one point a Wyndham. Not as nice as you would think a Westin would be. Room was nice.

I don't know how I even got a room in this place within my price range (probably because I booked 12 hours in advance), but this was much swankier than I am used to, and considering I showed up in ripped jeans toting two misbehaved dogs behind me, everyone was very nice and helpful. One concierge even recommended a dog park nearby. The only things that irked me were that they charge for wireless internet ($20 for the day or $40 for the week), and they charge $40 a day for parking (which they didn't tell me about until checkout). However, maybe if I'd ever stayed at a nice hotel before I would have expected that.

Spa like quality of the rooms and great personal service. Parking was pricey $40.00 for overnight parking.

This Westin hotel was great. The service was superb, they even sent to our room a birthday cake, wine and cheeses for our son; very nice gesture. We got two rooms and both were very clean and nice. Breakfast buffet was the best. It's located a couple of blocks away from a Metro station and the White House. Plenty of places to eat really close. I highly recommend it.

Went to DC for a job interview back in December and stayed at the Westin as part of a Travelocity package. Very helpful staff who set me up on the Starwood Preferred Guest floor (top floor) since I was a SPG member. A small walk to the nearest Metro, and it could be a cold trek in the winter. Overall, a nice hotel, nicely renovated but one can tell that it was a older hotel.Breakfast buffet was of good quality, though a bit pricey (wasn't a problem because I expensed it).Good stay for the business traveller. Will stay again if I get another job interview in DC metro!

The staff was very helpful from taking our bags out of the car to the room...to helping us find the perfect restaurant to dine at.

I liked how the room looked and how clean it was. Valet parking was very expensive, hard to find hotel. This is a clean, nice hotel. This hotel was very hard to find, no food areas around hotel, valet parking dented our van and never told us about it. Valet parking for one night is 40.00.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Westin DC City Center. The staff was wonderful and made us feel right at home. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. I will definitely be staying at this hotel the next time we travel to DC.

Parking was outrageous (for guests). We parked on the street and fed the meter early AM. We assumed pool, shame on us, check if You need it. Initial room was small for our needs but when brought to the staff's attention they were outstanding and prompt in meeting our needs. Place is great and convienient to everything. 7.5 out of 10 for us.

Location. Poor parking arrangements/cost. The front desk/parking attendants were inefficient, not very welcoming, and seemed to show no regard for customer satisfaction. However this hotel has a great location, and the rooms seemed very clean.

The T.V. and the safe did not work, also there was left over food in fridge. When we reported this to the front desk, we were given a new room immediately. Everything was in working order and a clean stocked fridge in the new room.
