the only problem was the location. It was a little bit far away from the downtown of Chicago. But I really liked the room --very comfortable, clean , and modern.-seemed renovated recently. Besides, the fee was not expensive.

Fantastic view of Chicago, great staff, and very friendly. Nothing. The first room I was given only had one bed. We had two children with us and I asked for a room with two beds. They quickly accommodated us. The entire place was immaculate. It was wonderful.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in July 2008 while attending a conference. Due to flight delays, I arrived very late the first night and despite calling to ensure my room would be held there were no rooms available when I arrived and I was put in a "salon" with a pullout couch. Staff was very apologetic and moved me to a regular room the next morning. My room was very comfortable, food at the restaurants was good, and I found all the staff people I encountered at the hotel to be friendly and helpful. The conference I attended was one where many parents bring their children and in my experience the hotel and staff were welcoming to its guests of all ages. One of the pluses of this hotel is its proximity to a forest with wonderful walking/jogging trails (ask for a map at the front desk). Though my experience with the room mix-up the first night would not have prevented me from considering a stay at this hotel in the future, the manager's willingness to refund me for that night's stay after I contacted the hotel upon returning home was a plus. All in all I give this hotel high marks.

westin hotels were ok. the rooms were nice, decent view from windows. nice dining.the pool was ok and the spa was great. couldn't watch tv with out paying for it.the refrigater with different stuff in it was very expensive and no room to put your drinks into it. everything in the room was nice but you had to pay extra for most of it. over all it was ok but not really a good price for the rooms

Clean, comfortable bed. Not one person visible when we left at 5:30 am, room next to ice machine-noisy!

Stayed here 2 nights in early June. Beds ARE great & the rooms are very well appointed. Big flat screen TVs. Right next to a large forest preserve with wonderful trail for us long distance runners. Had one small problem and the staff fell over themselves apologizing. Good choice of restaurants both on premise & short walk across the (free) parking lot. Note that this is NOT Chicago. It is in Wheeling, IL. Call American Taxi to travel between OHare & hotel. No hotel airport shuttle. 26 plus tip. Elevators are just fine. 10/day for wireless Internet.

Loved it so much, hated to leave. Every thing was perfect! Beautiful.

I heard good comments about this property and decided to stay here. The beds not very comfortable and the service was standard. The hotel is too large and they do not have enough staff. I ordered room service and it took over an hour. The waiter said it takes a long time to walk from the kitchen to my room. Elevators are not effeint and need to improve. Also, hotel is very cold in public areas, meeting and rooms. Will be attending a meeting there in the summer, not looking forward to it! I froze in the winter and know will be melting in the summer

I loved walking into the lobby each night where different color orchids were displayed. The morning staff forgot to leave the complimentary water in my room. I had to ask twice to receive. Overall the hotel was a beautiful place to stay and the staff was very pleasant. They not only wanted to see to your every need, they extended a free breakfast to all for their restaurant was not available for the first two mornings of my staff. I found this more than generous.

This hotel has been open less then a month. It's a large hotel, lovely lobby, Upscale restaurant and bar. Parking is free. It is a conference hotel so it's likely to get alot of use as it becomes familiar. They have a shuttle that operates within 5 miles of the hotel. Including the Lake Cook Metra. There are many upscale restaurants in the area. The pool is new, and larger then most hotel pools these days. Nice work out room. Everything is NEW NEW NEW!

I stayed in this hotel the first night it opened. All I can say is AAAAHHH! The bed is unbeleivably comfortable, the shower system is to-die-for, the ambience is spectacular and the dining is impeccable! Only the Osteria was open, but the wait staff was professional and knowledgeable, and the food exquisite! I am getting ready to go again in March for 4 days and I cannot wait! Run, don't walk to this hotel!
