From the moment I checked in until I checked out the staff was friendly and helpful. The desk clerk [...] was wonderful and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I would tell my friends what a great experience I had at the Westin. I would stay there again.

Great room, lobby, and staff, but I found that I paid $20 dollars a night more on Orbitz for the room than I would have paid if I'd checked the hotel's website for special weekend deals. I also was surprised that I had to pay $9 per night to park so far outside of Boston.

Bellman was wonderful. One of the worst hotel experiences in recent memory. We were put on a floor with two bus loads of junior high school students who were up all night. We had difficulty securing a room change until 1 AM. The hotel overlooks a freeway and is serious need of refurbishing. The hotel lacks a coffee bar/cafe. Other than a full - service restaurant, there is no breakfast available on site and no reasonable alternatives within the vicinity. After dropping our dry cleaning off, the door to our room was left ajar! The pool is tiny.

The hotel was alright. Farther out of Boston than expected. Plus the place didn't seem all that full, but we were put in a room near the elevators. This left us woken up several times during the night as other hotel guests made their noisy way to their own rooms. Also there was a problem with the room keys when we arrived, which I guess left the staff a bit distracted cause we waited to check in dispite being the only people at the counter and weren't told of any amenities the hotel might have had.

I stay there a fair amount, which says something. There are close to a dozen hotels within a 1/4 mile of Exit 27 there. Still, I'm never entirely happy with it. Last time I was there the alarm clock in my room went off at 3:00 in the morning. The breakfast buffet costs more than $20, but it's pretty good. The dinner menu is pretty mediocre.

Location. Would not waive the internet fee of $9.95/day.

My finacee and I stayed for one night this past weekend for a belated valentine get-away. The hotel was beautiful, very nicely presented and the rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. However, the prices were a bit over the top. It was an extra 9 to park overnight, and an additional 14 for valet service. Also, there were no vending machined in the facility, they had been taken out the week before (supposedly.) This left us no choice but to pay 3 for a can of soda out of the mini fridge or a similar price for a beverage from the bar. The pool area was very small, and there were children swimming, splashing, and taking up the entire hot tub until 11 p.m which was closing time. Also, the hotel location is a bit inconvenient. There was one restaraunt in the area other than the one in the hotel (which was very expensive, as was room service.) We eventually found an Uno's which was VERY hard to locate and in the middle of nowhere. The town really has nothing in it, it is more of a business district so if you're looking for convenient shopping and dining, this is not the place for you. Depsite these things, the hotel was very nice and the stay was quite enjoyable. I would stay here again.

But was really surprised that a hotel in a rural area would charge for parking.

Wonderful hotel, couldn't have asked for more for our first trip to Boston. Amazing sunset view from our balcony inside the hotel, staff was great with arranging taxi rides and helping with the planning of our travel routes to the aquarium and Fenway. Will definitely stay there again

The Westin Waltham Boston was comfortable but the carpet in the room seemed a little worn out. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and prompt in their service specially valet/conceirge guy in the evening. Staff at the breakfast place was nice and helpful. Overall it was pleasant experience but could have been better. Oh! the parking system needs improvement. I do not see a point in having to swipe the card going in (understandable) but why while leaving (something that does not make sense). If I entered the place by swiping I am legite guy and shouldn't have to swipe my room card while leaving. It created huge backups some mornings and even on some evenings.

It is beautiful as you dirve up. Very friendly people. I expected a nicer and bigger room. The Hotel was beautiful. People very friendly. We did not stay very long to take full advantage.

From the outside it is a beautiful hotel, that's where it stops. The elevator smelled...not a good smell. Our bathroom had mold in the shower and when taking a shower I was standing in two inches of water. They did come to fix it but then you have to sit and wait for them to do a job which should have been done before you got there. The pay movies channel was broken...my kids live to watch movies in the hotel at night. The fitness room was clean and in good order. The pool was not well maintained. There were broken tiles (we knew this because they were just sitting there in a pile). After a long drive to get to the hotel I usually look forward to sitting in the hot tub. This hot tub was so dirty you could actually see the dirt swirling around on the bottom. The hotel is expensive and I expected to get Westin accomodations, that didn't happen.

The Westin room size was large, the layout very comfortable. Except for the lack of suitcase stands I found the room and stay very pleasant. The shower facility was fabulous- the controls conveniently located and labelled, compared to othet hotels. The choice of shower head, dual hand grips, and the room was well lighted. I did not notice many restaurants in the area, but the service in the hotel was fine. There is much I can say about the room and its offerings. Suffice it to say that I'd not hesitate staying at the Westin Waltham and perhaps other Westins given the high standard of this hotel and my very satisfactory experience at this hotel.
