This Westin was not far off perfect - very friendly geninue warmth from all the staff. Great location and rooms - all the essentials in the room, room service superb a nice treat sitting in a spacious room with a marvelleous view. Sure there was couple mistakes but nothing major and any concerns promptly and efficiently dealt with.

Great Hotel, was met at the desk with two pretty, friendly smiles. No wait in line, quick service and provided details regarding local watering holes. Walking distance to the Air Canada Centre and Rogers Centre. Perfect for our crew as we were attending both events. If you have a late night craving, try the gyro joint right next door or quick room serive at 4 AM. Comfortable and clean bed, no complaints to report. Checkout was as easy as our checkin. Will definitely stay here again next time in Toronto and will look for deals at other Westins in future travel plans.

I stayed at the Westin Harbour Castle during my first trip to Toronto and it was an excellent choice. My room was in the North Tower and I had a partial waterfront view. (If you want a full waterfront view, choose a room in the South Tower). The room was an adequate size and decorated in typical Westin style. The housekeeping service was mediocre but the room was very clean. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel does not have its own concierge service but instead uses a tour company for that purpose. Be sure to shop around for the best prices for attractions - other tour companies may have better prices for the same attraction. The hotel was in a prime location and was literally steps away from the harbor cruises and ferries to the Toronto Islands. It was also close to the heart of downtown Toronto (by either a short walk or via subway, streetcar or sightseeing bus). There are restaurants nearby and a nice view of the CN Tower is about 2 blocks away. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was efficient as well as friendly, the bed was very comfortable. Steps up from the street into the lobby areas were uneven and slippery when wet . Subway connections very convenient. Walking was an attractive option to some waterfront attractions. Hotel itself lived up to what is expected in a 4 or 5 star hotel. People on the front desk and bellman's desk were efficient as well as friendly. Comfortable bed and lovely sheets. The views of the city and waterfront from higher rooms quite wonderful!

The service was wonderful, couldn't have asked for better service at the Westin Harbour Castle. They provided us with car service at the exact times we needed it, and transported all of our luggage quickly and with pleasure. The best part about this hotel is the comfort. The beds were amazing, I've never slept better in my life.. and I never wanted to get out of the shower!! The bar and restaurants had decent food and drink, but very expensive. Not sure if the food was worth the price. But not disappointed at all. The Toula Restaurant had an amazing view, being on the 38th floor. I also got a manicure at the Votre Day Spa, it wasn't terribly overpriced and the service was excellent. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the Westin Harbour Castle and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Hotel is in a great location to easily walk to fun stuff to do in Toronto. Also, streetcar stop is just down the block, so if you need to go a little farther afield, that's pretty easy, too. Quiet hotel, nice rooms. Only complaint was they didn't clean my room one of the 3 days I was there.

Overall the hotel is nice and comfy. Even though the lobby was going through renovations, it was still very quiet and peaceful, and wasnt an inconvenience whatsoever. Perfect location- lots of shopping, sight seeing, lake views, and much to choose from food wise. One thing my boyfriend and I didnt take into consideration were the parking fees. If you stay here, be prepared to pay daily for parking, $40 a day/overnight, but, its valet as well. Added on an additional $160 just for parking for 4 nights at a hotel Im already a guest at..it wasnt a big deal, its downtown, parking alone is almost nonexistent so I understand, but I found that a bit silly to charge a guest that much. Traditional room is a perfect size for 2 people, heavenly beds arent THAT great, but we slept well, service was excellent, room was always clean, concierge was friendly and helpful at referring us to restaurants in the local area. I checked in late, and they didnt have my room available (king size bed) the woman asked me if a room with 2 double beds would work, but my boyfriend is 6'5", a king was needed for obvious reasons lol, she found us a room with a king bed without any hassle at all. The first night, we were woken up by an alarm going off at 830am due to a fire alarm on the 33rd floor, which was nerve racking and irritating, but it was taken care of quickly and everything was safe. The last night we stayed, the room above us had a family w/children, and they were making alot of noise. 1 complaint to the front desk took care of it immediately. Im staying here again in March, and Im looking forward to it.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!! I WILL STAY EVERY TIME I GO TO TORONTO BECAUSE OF THIS EXPERIENCE: we got married in 1994 and Honeymooned in Toronto. We were staying at a very expensive penthouse jacuzzi suite at the Cambridge Suites Hotel for the first 2 nights and then, due to budget reasons, would go to a lesser expensive hotel for the rest of the week. We ended up going to the Primrose- which was awful!!! It smelled of urine, my room had mold, we had a reservation yet had a long wait time, etc... so I started calling places and everyone was booked. I finally reached this hotel and they had a room in my budget (I had a budget of 150 a night- it was 165 the first night and 85 each night after). I was practically crying to the girl saying the room had mold and its my honeymoon and its so gross and I asked her if her hotel was nice. She said yes. And it was. Let me tell you-- she hooked me up with a REALLY nice room and it had a lake view and she also gave us a complimentary basket of goodies and fruit and flowers and champagne-- all things that I didn't ask for nor expect. They were so nice and it was clean (which is really all I was looking for). We also ate at the revolving restaurant at the top- its very good, they have a breakfast buffet sometimes too that is also very good. Since 1994, I've been back to this hotel almost every year. I think it was better than the Cambridge.

Airport Express picks up and drops off right in front, so access to Pearson is excellent. Access to trams/streetcars and the subway is also quite good -- a tram runs out front and the Union subway station is a good 4, 5 blocks walking distance. You can print out your boarding pass in the lobby, buy and mail a postcard from the hotel, have a drink up high, and relax in your Heavenly Bed. A top notch hotel.

Classy and the room was top notched and comfortable. Location of the room. Hotel is very classy, I enjoyed the stay there, but the parking was a little high priced for a long stay.

This hotel came so close to being ideal. The location was perfect, close to transportation, places of interest and dining. The view across the lake was beautiful. The hotel itself seemed well lept. Unfortunately my room was not with food and clothing under the furniture. Even after I spoke to them it was less than spotless with only the biggest pieces of offending dirt cleared out. No apology was made nor follow up attempt to see if I was satisfied.

The Westin Harbour Castle is a tremendous place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff everywhere. Miszen restaurant has terrific food. Convenient location within walking distance to SkyDome, CN Tower and other downtown attractions. I would definitely stay there again next time in Toronto and would highly recommend the hotel."

We were on the 34th floor, with a view of the river, the room was amazing. The restaurant on the 38th floor was also fantastic. Wonderful, relaxing visit!
