The service at the hotel was flawless. Staff is incredibly friendly.

The lobby, the views. The remote, isolate location 2 miles from the historic district. Hotel was appropriate for star rating but not for selected location in historic district! Taking a ferry boat across the river to the historic district was not acceptable for a person with disabilities, and driving 2 miles away was very inconvenient. This hotel is not in the historic district.

First of all, checking in was very confusing. There were three mother-daughter couples in my traveling party and we had all requested that we at least be on the same floor long in advance of checkin-in. Apparently, they never got this request. The cleanliness of the rooms, esp. the bathroom, was not up to par. The pool was a complete let down. Getting in touch with room service proved to be a mission impossible. The staff, however, was extremely nice everywhere in the hotel. The Hyatt is my family's hotel of choice and we were definitely diappointed in this one. There are so many historic inns and hotels in Savannah and we will opt for one of these next time.

The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, was situated on the Savannah River with a ferry that shuttled people across the river to the historic district. That was very convenient. The grounds were very pretty with lots of flowers and palm trees and a big pool. The room was very nice and boasted heavenly beds which we did fine very comfortable, lovely sheets and lots of pillows. A heavenly bath was also touted as a luxury amenity however that turned out to be a regular bathtub with a double headed shower, and while it certainly did give one a nice shower the tub itself was a standard hotel tub a little beat up . I guess I expected a deeper possibly jacuzzi style tub with a name like heavenly attached. Other than that the bathroom had lots of room and I appreciated the cozy robe they provided.

Very comfortable beds. Location. The Westin Harbor Savannah is a lovely hotel, but its location isn't convenient to the historic district at all.

This was my first stay at the Westin. I was referred to it by a coworker who stayed in their Atlanta hotel and a friend who stayed at the resort in Savannah. Neither of their compiments could be less worthy. I could have stayed in that bed all day, I hadn't slept that comfortably in years! The facility is gorgeous and well-maintained. The staff was very helpful and I really appreciated them providing me with directions to the resort. My only problem was the cable, at this rate there could have been more that 7 channels to watch! I will be making a return trip in a year.

The Westin Savannah was below the level that we have experienced at other Westin Facilities in the past. The bathroom was dirty and needed a much better cleaning than it had been given, the bed were not properly made and the linen we not of the quality that one would expect with the heavenly bed. We ran into another guest on our floor that was searching for a sheet on the linen cart to properly make their bed. The linen and housekeeping carts were left in the area in front of the ice and vending machines instead of being put away.

Very comfortable bedding, clean and on the river. Coffee provided for our room and did not fit the coffee maker.

This experience was perfect from beginning to end. From the moment we stepped out of the car the staff was very attentive and pleasant. We had to wait on nothing, we were waited upon. The check-in experience was very enjoyable and informative. The desk agent was very professional and treated us like we were the most important VIPs in house that day. Did not order any room service but went to the restaurant instead. The food was delicious both in the restaurant and the lounge. The only problem we experienced was dim lighting in the lounge when trying to read the menu, but the bartender was so attentive to his surroundings that I did not even have to ask for an adjustment. He saw us there and noticed the trouble and pulled the lights for us. Now that is what I call an attentive staff member! The temperature was still a little cold so we could not enjoy the pool. We did however, enjoy the fairy rides back and forth to River Street and the outdoor fires that surrounded the pool area. The view from our room was beautiful! This experience exceeded my standards of a great hotel experience. I will never forget my stay and the wonderful time I had and will return again and again!

I just returned from the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. I stayed with my spouse at the hotel for New Years. We had an excellent time. The staff were friendly and courteous. We stayed in a river front room with 1 king bed. The bed was soft and the shower was nice because it had two nozzle heads. When I stay next time, I am going to request a room with a balcony. The rooms with balconies were booked. We had a magnificent meal at the Aqua Star on New Years Eve. I have to say that the meal was one of the best I have ever had. They served 4 courses. The main course was surf and turf. The meat was cooked perfectly. During dinner the hotel had a jazz band playing. The hotel also had a fire work show, which was spectacular. We ate brunch at the Aqua Star, which was out of this world. They had a variety of foods. The hotel is located right across the river from River Street where restaurants and bars are located. We took a ferry over, which is free. It runs every 20 minutes. I would definitely stay at the hotel again and I would highly recommend it. They also have packages for the room and meals.

"Staff very snobby. Rooms small. Channel selection on TV awful. Dining way overpriced. We chose to spend last night here, but wished we'd stayed in other hotel the whole time. Unless you want to spend a fortune for an average room, much better off finding another hotel. "

Recently renovated and updated. Small, dark bathroom and ferry boat not too efficient for Historic District. This hotel is beautiful and the staff is very nice. I have seen some low reviews for this place before, but it is a very elegant and clean resort. I did not use any of the resort features, but I felt that everything was well balanced and high quality. I would stay here again, but I wish this was in the district and not part of a ferry system. Also, lots of food options. Food is your standard up scale hotel food: expensive and small portioned, but good. Overall, its a place to grab breakfast but eat in the Historic District.
