The Hotel was nice, it was clean quiet and near the subway station. The staff was very friendly and helpful to me and my wife.

Hotel was clean, very convenient to the Metro and grocery store. No free internet in rooms and bad connection in lobby area. For a 4 star hotel I was quite disappointed. It was really nothing spectacular. No fridge in room, ice buckets so small we had to request 2 of them, no laundry facilities for customer use (One pair of undergarments cost $3.75 to have cleaned ridiculous), very small rooms, pool had limited hours of use and shut down too early for us to use most nights. Only free Internet was in the lobby but the connection was so bad we couldn't stay connected for more than a few minutes at a time before loosing it, Internet in room is $9.95 a day. I do not understand why this is classified as a 4 star hotel. I have had better stays at a Holiday Inn Express. One positive was the comfort of their beds.

Perfect location for those who want to save money and don't want to drive in Washington DC. Very clean and spacious room. Staff always smiling and greeting.

I read the previous reviews before booking and was more than pleased. I took my family on a vacation to DC and was more than pleased. The rooms were clean and well appointed, Flat screen tv, great shower, coffee pot in room w/coffee, room safe, comfy bed. The hotel is located close to the Ballston Metro stop (2 short blocks) and the Ballston Mall ( 2 short blocks). The mall has fast food for the kids or those on a tight budget. There's also an IHOP across the St from the metro. The hotel concierge suggested the Silver Diner which is a short 1 mile drive away, easy to find just ask for a map. That area of Arlington and the hotel were very safe feeling for us. The hotel staff was great. We had 2 small problems , the in room safe wasn't working properly and the tub wasn't draining quickly. A call to the desk both times and we had someone at the door in less than 10 minutes to fix them. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and we are hoping to go back next year. When you book thru travelocity you get the best value for your money at a 4 star hotel.

This location is great--it's adjacent to the Ballston mall and metro and there are a number of places to eat in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is new and stylish and I got a GREAT deal on the nightly rate. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn which is close by for a similar rate, and it is not nearly as nice. The room I was given was stylishly decorated and had nice amenities--comfortable bedding, double-head shower, mini-bar, etc. The one drawback was that I was right next to the ice machine--which was extremely noisy! The hotel also has a decent pool and workout room, although the jacuzzi was out of order when I was there.

Great location, near metro, clean, modern and easy for business travelers.

This was a very good hotel- the only issues were friends who came to visit had difficulty finding public parking. The business center was closed for remodeling. There are many eateries very close by as well as a large mall with shopping and retaurants galore.

I visited my ffriend in Arlington and stayed 7 nights. I got great deal and the rate was cheaper than Holiday Inn nearby. The hotel is close to mall, metro station and restaurants. It's very convenient! If you want to visit DC, use Bollston Metro. Couple front desk staffs were not so friendly but performed their job. Room was clean and quiet. If you want to access to internet, be aware the charge.

I loved that this hotel was a short walk away from the metro, shops, and dining areas. We arrived early and they let us do an early check-in which was greatly appreciated. I loved the huge king sized bed (which was very comfortable) The pool was not as big as I thought it would be but my fiance and I still had a relaxing time in the pool. Overall it a great experience, and the staff always had a smile on their faces. I would definitely stay again when we want a quiet getaway =)

Great proximity to subway in a pleasant neighborhood.

We had two rooms reserved for a wedding. Parking was OUTRAGEOUS - $$ night in a neighborhood where parking is usually much cheaper and readily available. There were no signs posted listing the prices, so you have to take the valet's word for it basically. One of the guests in our party wanted to extend their stay by one night, and the hotel refused to extend the rate we recieved, and charged more than triple what the first night cost. Both mornings I was woken up by housekeeping, who apparently leave the doorjam ajar in the door so that they wouldn't have to open and shut the doors as they were cleaning rooms. However, everytime they went in or out, the door would slam against the jam loudly. This went on every 20 seconds - 3 minutes in the morning hours. THe front desk and manager were unresponsive about the issue, and we left unsatisfied. Starwood was very responsive, but the GM did not address the problems with the service, only the problems with extending the reservation. I will not be staying here again or recommending to anyone.

This hotel is located near the Ballston MU Metro station making it convenient for travel to Arlington Cemetery and Washington sites. While the hotel was clean and comfortable, they nickel and dime you for every added convenience. High speed internet is * per day. Room servic breakfast includes a * delivery charge plus an %18 gratuity automatically added to your account. I wanted to print my boarding passes at the business center only to find it would cost a minimm of * ! Bob

It was definitely a 4 star hotel. It was a little far from my son's apartment. but we had a car so it was not a problem. This is a very nice hotel and is definitely a 4 star hotel. There is shopping and some restaurants nearby. It is also very easy to hop on I-66.

Lots of hidden charges, and big ones too. Parking, hotel amenities, bottled water should not cost sooo much. I was scared to drink the tea in the room for fear of an extra credit card bill.

If you are going to be in town and need transportation, there are taxi's shuttles into DC and everything within walking distance of the hotel. I had to pay 20 per night for a rental car to sit in the garage. Crazy but I guess thats normal. All in all the hotell was very nice, beds were very comfy and staff very nice. Rooms were very nice with great shower heads. Pool was shallow and no diving. Spa excluded all under 16 which was heart breaking to our crew of under 16's.

Our stay was two nights; we were in the area to attend a graduation ceremony at Georgetown University. The staff at the hotel were very professional and friendly. We enjoyed the lounge and restaurant. The contemporary design of the hotel was absolutely beautiful, especially in the foyer and our room. The small park and shops nearby are lovely.

Room was spacious. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and towels were dirty. The hotel was fine. I am glad I paid a low price through Priceline. If I had paid full price I would have been highly disappointed. The big fluffy Westin Heavenly Bath towel had make up smears and lovely little black hairs all over it. They weren't stains. They were actually fresh make up smears. It immediately went on the floor, then seemed to be replaced, after housekeeping cleaned the room, on the counter in the bathroom without being washed.

Just to let you know, everthing was more than we expected. the staff was very helpful, the rooms were very clean. Most of important we were two blocks from the metro. when in DC thats the only way to travel. All kinds of resturants and shopping just blocks from hotel. If I had one complant it was the price for parking our car,$22.00 a day. BUT DC IS A VERY EXPENSIVE PLACE TO VIST.But we will most defintly be back.

Candles in lobby, flat screen TV, comfy beds, 2 blocks from Metro, lots of good restaurants around plus nearby mall, Starbucks off lobby - very hip, clean, modern, friendly, Zen!
